Italian Hard-rocking alternative metallers NEREIS have released a new music video for the song “Induced Extinction”. The video was directed by Maurizio Del Piccolo and filmed while the band was on tour in Ukraine and Russian Federation. Watch the video right now, here:

“Since the Coronavirus Pandemic shut down Italy, we had to cancel a bunch of shows and it has been difficult to get together due to the nationwide lockdown” says guitarist Sam Fabrello. “We have all this footage from past tours and all this time on our hands, so we thought let’s give something more to the fans since we cannot be there in person during this global crisis.” Singer Andrea Barcheisi continues, “The song itself talks about a possible future where only a part of humanity survives, the one able to live in a sustainable way, the one able to get with the times, respecting the Earth and his creatures. The other part of humanity, composed of wicked men that rob, kill and live in world where greed and violence dominate, faces its extinction. A self-induced extinction, caused by their old and obsolete way to live.”

“Induced Extinction” is taken from the band’s latest album Turning Point which was released on June 8, 2018 via Eclipse Records. The album received critical acclaim from dozens of media outlets and radio stations all over the world.

Hard-rocking alternative metallers NEREIS – who just recently joined BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE for a brief string of dates – have released a new epic video and single ‘The Wave (Symphony Version)’, feat. Isabella Turso on piano. Watch it here:

This is a full orchestral version of “The Wave” which originally appeared on the band’s debut full-length album ‘Turning Point’. The video was directed by Maurizio Del Piccolo and Max Benbinelli, and filmed on location in Venice, Italy. The orchestra scenes were shot at the sport center in Albiano Italy, and the orchestra was conducted by Simone Tonin.

“When we wrote The Wave, I never imagined that one day we would perform it with a full orchestra” says guitarist Sam Fabrello. “Working with Simone Tonin, who rearranged The Wave for the orchestra, was a great experience. I remember during the video shoot at the sport center in Albiano, we were listening to how this song came out and watching the orchestra perform our song with us… it was very exciting!”

Italy’s hard-rocking alternative metallers NEREIS have revealed a new music video for the song “Now”. The video was directed by Maurizio Del Piccolo, and filmed on location at Adrenaline Stadium (Moscow), and A2 Green (St. Petersburg) while the band was on tour in the Russian Federation, as main support for THREE DAYS GRACE in November, 2018. “Before leaving, everyone in Italy told us to taste some authentic Russian vodka” says guitarist Sam Fabrello. “I got back, and I totally forgot to bring some home! Shall we go back to Russia? Of course, I think it may be soon…” Singer Andrea Barcheisi continues, “It was the greatest experience of our career so far. There were more than 4,000 people in St. Petersburg, and 8,500 in Moscow. When our manager said to us that both gigs were sold-out, I was a bit nervous because it was the first time that we played in front of so many people.”

“Now” is taken from the band’s latest album “Turning Point” which was released on June 8, 2018 via Eclipse Records. The album received critical acclaim from dozens of media outlets and radio stations all over the world. To date, the band have released three music videos supporting the album, for the songs “Breaking Bad”, “Overdrive”, and “Two Wolves” which have surpassed a combined 24,000 views on YouTube.
