VADER: Back To The Black Tour 2013, First Details Revealed

MASSIVE MUSIC has issued the following update:

Early in 2013 panzer division VADER will commence the conquest of Europe with their new concert tour “Back To The Black Tour 2013”. It will be the first headlining tour of VADER after releasing their latest album “Return To The Morbid Reich” (Nuclear Blast). The highlight of this tour will be a special set prepared for this occassion. The band will play all songs from the cult albums “Black To The Blind” and “Sothis”!

The set will cater to both old school metalmaniacs’ and younger generations’ tastes. The tour will last from the beginning of January to February. We are currently on the point of making decision about supporting bands that will join the line-up. More details soon!

VADER: Tours Update, Working On New Album In 2013

Polish death metallers VADER have recently issued an update on band’s Official Facebook Page:

“Summer and the festival season is almost over. Concerts on the “Fist Full of Metal” in Germany crowns the promotion of the album “Welcome To The Morbid Reich” on the european continent. With Vader’s last record we’re gonna move to Australia/New Zealand (at the end of October), China, Taiwan and – again – South America (in November) and finaly to the USA in early Spring 2013.

Before we’ll start working on the next record (under the title “Straight To Hell”). We’re gonna remind Vader’s 3rd album “Black To The Blind” from 1997 as a whole!!! The tour named BACK TO THE BLACK will include – besides the mentioned record- quite many different songs from a variety of albums on the 70 min. long set. We start in December in Poland and Czech Republic. At the beginning of 2013 we will tour with the same set on Western Europe, Scandinavia and Baltic lands too. More details soon !!!! DECAPITATED Drummer Quits

Drummer Kerim “Krimh” Lechner has left Polish extreme metallers DECAPITATED. He explained in a statement, “Too many personal differences and other difficulties made me decide like this.” He added, “I appreciate the good times we had together and what we could achieve in more than two and a half years. Even if our ways are dividing, I wish the band to keep going. However, it’s time for me to move on.”

He continued, “I don’t know what will be next, but I would like to stay in this business. I love to write and play music for you guys. This is my life and this is what I want to continue.”

DECAPITATED has reportedly recruited former VADER drummer Pawel Jaroszewicz as Lechner‘s replacement.

DECAPITATED‘s latest album, “Carnival Is Forever”, sold around 2,100 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD landed at position No. 11 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

“Carnival Is Forever” was released in North America on July 12, 2011 via Nuclear Blast Records. The CD’s cover art was created by Lukasz Jaszak and can be seen below. The follow-up to 2006’s “Organic Hallucinosis” was recorded at Radio Gdansk Studio in Poland with producer Wacek Kieltyka and engineer Arkadiusz “Malta” Malczewski. Drums were tracked with Daniel Bergstrand (BEHEMOTH, MESHUGGAH, DIMMU BORGIR, KEEP OF KALESSIN, DEFLESHED), who also handled mixing duties.

EXODUS, VADER, DEW-SCENTED, ORIGIN Among New Acts Confirmed For Germany’s Queens Of Metal Open Air

Germany’s Queens Of Metal Open Air returns in 2012 and will be held at The Nature Theater in Steinbach/Langenbach from July 19th-21st.
