TEMPERANCE have released their new energetic single “Start Another Round”, fresh off their latest album, Viridian. Taking risks and playing with one’s own luck and fate are the main topics of this melodic live anthem – even if the way to success and victory is paved with bruises and disappointments, it is the grand prize and self-fulfillment that matters after all.

Highlighting the importance of determination and faith in one’s own talents, the catchy song is accompanied by an equally dynamic and adrenaline-filled music video. The breathtaking stunts and acrobatics, the cheering crowd enjoying the sound of  TEMPERANCE, and the outstanding stage charisma of the band members themselves make “Start Another Round” a deeply expressive and motivating experience. The video definitely transports the positive attitude of the song and will bring a wide smile to your face.

Symphonic metal quartet TEMPERANCE have unleashed yet another mind-blowing single “I Am The Fire”, fresh off their upcoming album, Viridian, to be released tomorrow, January 24, 2020! “I Am The Fire” is about finding strength through life’s hardships and that anyone can overcome obstacles put in their way by believing in themselves and find the power within.

The protagonist of the song has been left by someone important to them and strives to get over said person, to rise from the broken shards of their heart and soul, and to become someone new, someone better. While the almost forlorn lyrics may make the listener a little thoughtful, the upbeat nature of the song, with its magnificent riffs and smashing drums, definitely delivers the message and will be stuck in their head all day long!

Marco Pastorino, singer and guitarist, comments:
“Our paths have crossed at a lot of places and stories. “I Am the Fire” is about motivation and a trigger that can help us to reach our goals. Through different colors, moods and situations, we can find a light on our journey. As always we blend our three different vocal styles in one of the most melodic tracks from Viridian.

As a side note, we were not particularly thinking of seasonal wildfire or the horrible tragedy that is happening in Australia right now. The word ‘fire’ is recurrently used as an analogy to inner strength, and we believe that we can take it as a call to action for uniting and together, overcoming any obstacles we face individually as well as a society.”

Italian symphonic metal five-piece TEMPERANCE have just released their heartfelt new song, “My Demons Can’t Sleep”, taken from their upcoming album Viridian. The new single is about the demons that everyone harbors inside of them: all of the inner troubles, issues, fears, rage and daily struggles that are often hidden away from the world. “My Demons Can’t Sleep” paints a picture of those feelings in a beautiful way and symbolizes a beacon of hope in the darkness of those frenzied thoughts.

TEMPERANCE’s journey through the depths of the subconscious was filmed in the somber 14th century Castle of Verrès. A young woman enters the castle and roams around the hallways, seeming to be trapped within the walls of the castle – equally imprisoned by her insurmountable demons. When the lyrical modification in the chorus hits, she takes her first steps outside and walks towards a white horse, a symbol of freedom and self-empowerment. Track lyricist Michele Guaitoli states that this scene portrays the moment where the protagonist realizes that they are the ruler of their own life. During the change throughout the song, they realize that their past faults or mistakes, even fears, are meant to be there to help them grow. Facing all of that instead of running away is the only solution to becoming stronger.

Marco Pastorino, singer and guitarist, comments:
“You asked for the classic TEMPERANCE sound… so here we go! “My Demons Can’t Sleep” is probably the first song we wrote for Viridian; a very catchy track with a great guitar riff and also a nice interaction between our three voices. Definitely one of the most melodic tracks of the album, it will surely be an anthem for our live shows! The lyrics were written by Michele and it’s one of my favorites in the album. He talks about our daily troubles and fears, but in the end, with our inner strength, we can change everything.”

TEMPERANCE has just released their first single, “Mission Impossible”, off their new album, Viridian! “Mission Impossible” is the essence of TEMPERANCE – beautiful harmonies, heavy riffs and high-quality storytelling. The song is about the widely known movie of the same name. Its main character and agent Ethan Hunt is struggling to retrieve the deadly poison Chimera and its antidote Bellerephon, including motorcycle chases along the beach. The song conveys an overall feeling of urgency to rescue all of humanity. The accompanying intense lyric video is bound to get you hooked!

“After months of wait, we’re finally ready to begin a new cycle. This is “Mission Impossible”, the first single off our brand new album Viridian. Italian Melodic Metal institution TEMPERANCE return with their fifth studio album Viridian in January 2020! TEMPERANCE is where exceptional vocal melodies, energetic metal guitar riffing, symphonic and electronic atmospheres meet in perfect harmony. Led by a unique vocal triad, TEMPERANCE manage to unite heaviness with an impressive level of catchy melodies that will make you want to push the repeat button instantly.

Alessia Scoletti’s ethereal voice, the deep resonance of Michele Guaitoli’s baritone – also known from Napalm label colleagues VISIONS OF ATLANTIS – and the rough vocals of the composing mastermind and guitarist Marco Pastorino make TEMPERANCE stand out and fulfill everyone’s needs. Viridian is TEMPERANCE’s first studio album to be released via Napalm Records since their signing at the beginning of the year.
