CLAWHAMMER has issued the following:
Swedish doomsters The Gardnerz have unveiled the track list and artwork, which comes courtesy of Daniel “Devilish” Johnsson, for their recently completed EP, entitled It All Fades. Guitarist Wilhelm Lindh comments on the EP, which is a follow up to the band’s debut, The System of Nature. “This time around the songs are a bit slower and darker than on The System Of Nature, we tried to continue on the path we have chosen. We have found our niche and have no reason to stray, so if you liked our first release you will like this. This time it was a bit more of a group effort and I think that made the songs stronger.”

Deadbeat
“No Tan En Vivo En Mexico”, the “live” album from Thrashers DEAD TROOPER, which was released digitally earlier this year, has been snapped up by Norway’s HELLISH RECORDS, who are set to release the vinyl version in September. The vinyl, which will include the original cover artwork by Danny Larsen, is not, strictly speaking, a “live” album in the accepted sense of the word because it was, in fact, recorded live in the studio when the band recorded a run-through of what would have been their entire set at the upcoming Wild Metal Festival in Mexico, rather than on stage.
The Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund will host its second Awards Gala on Wednesday, October 31 at The Avalon in Hollywood, California to raise funds for its commitment to cancer prevention, research and education. Founded in memory of Ronnie James Dio, the world-renowned voice of DIO, RAINBOW, BLACK SABBATH and HEAVEN & HELL who died of gastric cancer in May 2010, the Dio Cancer Fund has raised more than $500,000 in its short history.
