In anticipation of the upcoming release of their forthcoming new studio offering Monolith Of Inhumanity, today CATTLE DECAPITATION unveils a new in-studio video clip. Monolith Of Inhumanity is set for a UK release on May 7, 2012. Commended by Stereokiller in an early review for being “their most focused and intelligent album yet… this is another solid CATTLE DECAP release that proves again that they are not to be fucked with,” and noted for being “arguably the quartet’s strongest effort to date,” by Blistering, the record was produced by Dave Otero of Denver’s Flatline Audio and finds the progressive grind conjurers exploring innovative new techniques in song writing without abandoning their signature formula of confrontational audio wreckage.

In related news, CATTLE DECAPITATION is currently bringing their audio pummel to the stage on the Occupation Domination 2012 tour. The band is joined by Origin, Decrepit Birth, Aborted, Rings Of Saturn, Battlecross and more! Then they head to the UK

WHITECHAPEL Brand New Album Announced; Track listing and Album Artwork Revealed, First Single “Hate Creation” for Streaming

METAL BLADE has issued the following:

Having spent several years lauded as one of the frontrunners in their genre, in 2012 WHITECHAPEL stand as a defining force in contemporary heavy music. Building dramatically on the trademarked bludgeon of their first three releases, withWhitechapel the Tennessean sextet have inarguably delivered their most intense, dynamic, and downright hostile record to date. Drenched in atmospheric darkness, the record is also rife with gripping melodies that drag the listener in to the tumult, willing or otherwise, and across its ten tracks it is infused with an emotional depth that pointedly separates the band from the plethora of two-dimensional mosh-starters that have sprung up in their wake.

Whitechapel, the band’s self-titled fourth album is slated for a June 19th release date via Metal Blade Records. TodayWHITECHAPEL have unveiled the album artwork, track listing and released the first single from the album.

The album was engineered and mixed by Mark Lewis (Black Dahlia Murder, DevilDriver), who also handled production duties alongside the band. The album artwork was created by Aaron Marsh of Forefathers Group with art direction provided by WHITECHAPEL.

Returning to their rightful place on the road, the band are enthused to take these new songs to their rabid fan base. They stand confident in their belief that their followers will hungrily devour the latest evolution of their sound, and having dramatically bolstered their fan base through blowing away the unsuspecting crowds on 2010’s Warped Tour they are sure to draw in new adherents anywhere they play.

WHITECHAPEL are set to tour with Miss May I, After the Burial, Within the Ruins, and The Plot in You as part of the “Recorruptor” kicking off May 3rd in Louisville, KY and running through May 17th in Portland, ME. Immediately following the tour, the band is set to play at this year’s Bamboozle Festival is Asbury Park, NJ on May 18th. WHITECHAPEL will also be a part of this summer’s Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival which starts June 30th.

Metal Blade to re-issue FATES WARNING’s ‘Inside Out’ album as a 3-disc-package

METAL BLADE has issued the following:

FATES WARNING: a classic name not only on the Metal Blade roster but within the metal scene in general. In the course of our ongoing re-release series, the band’s classic Inside Out is another must have item. FATES WARNING have always been one of the most influential bands within the metal scene. Being one of the founders of the progressive metal movement they have influenced the likes of QUEENSRYCHE or DREAM THEATER among many others.

This re-release comes as a double CD plus bonus-DVD. It contains the classic original album as well as live tracks from a German show FATES WARNING played in Dusseldorf in 1995 and unreleased demo takes. The bonus-DVD contains an assortment of live clips, from 1993-1995. The full track listing is below. MARILYN MANSON: Entire New Album Available For Streaming

MARILYN MANSON‘s long-awaited new album, “Born Villain”, is available for streaming in its entirety at AOL Music. The CD will be released on May 1 (one day earlier internationally) via Cooking Vinyl and Manson‘s own label Hell, Etc.

In a brand new interview with Billboard.com, Manson was asked if putting out his first CD not affiliated with Interscope was a liberating experience. “Yeah,” he replied. “I’ve always had control over what I created, and in the past once I turned it over to the record label, what happened wasn’t always to my liking. A lot of it was more their stupidity, trying to fit me into a hole I didn’t belong in, and that would of course make you confused about what you’re supposed to be as an artist, not even just as a person. So getting off Interscope gave me the ability to think exactly how you would when you’re starting out.”

Regarding the direction of the new album, Manson said, “With the previous two records, I was making music to make people feel like I was feeling rather than to make them feel something — and I was feeling pretty shitty most of the time, so I don’t think it was a good idea to do that, necessarily. I’m not discrediting the music, [but] my focus was in the wrong place. This record . . . emotionally it brings a different type of attitude that is more the spirit of me and feels interesting and fun for me to do.”

Marilyn Manson‘s new video, “No Reflection”, can be seen below. The clip was directed by Lukas Ettlin, who previously worked with Manson on the award-winning “Personal Jesus” video.

“No Reflection” was released as a white seven-inch vinyl in Europe on April 21. The vinyl is strictly limited to 1500 copies and features “No Reflection” (album version) and “No Reflection” (single edit). The release was in support of Record Store Day.

DEAD TROOPER announces new bass player and launches search for guitarist

Thrashers DEAD TROOPER have announced that BLODSPOR’s Andreas Stenvoll will be taking over the role of bassist which was recently vacated by Tor R. Staveness whose work with other bands such as 1349 no longer leaves him sufficient time to dedicate to the rapidly growing  DEAD TROOPER.  Stenvoll, an old friend of the band and a former member of TROLL, has already started rehearsing and confirms that his work with BLODSPOR will not be affected.

As well as the new bassist, DEAD TROOPER are also looking to recruit a guitarist to replace long-time member Birger Larsen, and are currently preparing to audition.  The band has, in fact, released a short video to give would-be applicants a taste of what to expect from its members.  Commented founder and frontman Meister Muller:  “We made a video because we thought it was important to give applicants an idea of what kind of personalities we have.  We like to enjoy what we’re doing, so if you have a tendency to be po-faced it’s definitely not the band for you.  However, I will stress that we have big plans for DEAD TROOPER, and we are deadly serious about our music, so, aside from great skills, we are also looking for someone who is prepared to commit not just their time, but also their soul, to the band. Auditions will take place in Norway and if chosen you must be available to rehearse on a regular basis in the Oslo area”.

DEAD TROOPER, who describe their music as “groovy, aggressive thrash metal”, recently released the “live” album “No Tan En Vivo En Mexico”, which was inspired the band’s appearance at Mexico’s Wild Metal Fest last year and which was rained off after only one and a half songs into the set.  The album is actually a live studio recording of the set the band intended to play at the festival, and was digitally released in March of this year as a thank you to all the Mexican fans they met in a biker bar when the festival was called off, and for whom they played an impromptu set.  Negotiations are currently under way to release a vinyl version of “No Tan En Vivo En Mexico”, and DEAD TROOPER are currently looking for a label to release the band’s next full-length album.
