Lizzy Borden guitarist Dario Lorina has left the band to join Zakk Wylde’s Black Label Society, they’ve confirmed.

Moving on: Lorina, right, with Lizzy Borden
The job became available after co-founding guitarist Nick Catanese – known as the “The Evil Twin” for his chemistry with Wylde – left amicably last month.
Shock-rocker Borden says in a statement: “We’re extremely proud and happy for Dario on being selected.
“It’s been an amazing ride performing all around the world with him. He’s an incredible blues-driven artistic guitarist, adding so much to the Borden sound.
“It was a privilege for me to have him on my left side for the last four years. I know Zakk, his band and their fans are going to love Dario as we all do.
“He will always be one of us and we wish him all the luck in the world.”
Lorina, who’s just 23, joined Lizzy Borden in 2009 after the departure of Ira Black. He’s been called “a young Paul Gilbert” by Mr Big’s Eric Martin while Motorhead axeman Phil Campbell said of him: “He never ceases to amaze me every time we jam.”
Wylde stopped the show during the Classic Rock Roll Of Honour in November when he played an emotional piano solo, ahead of being given the Metal Guru award.
