The organisers of Download Festival 2015 have made the first band announcements via their official Facebook page:

“It’s that time again. The first band to be announced and headlining the Friday night at Download is… SLIPKNOT with special guests JUDAS PRIEST, BLACK STONE CHERRY and FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH.

Bringing their new production to Donington, Slipknot storm into Download for the fifth time and the first since the release of their colossal new album .5: The Gray Chapter.
