This past summer PATRIARCHS IN BLACK released their debut album “Reach For The Scars”.
Featuring Johnny Kelly (Type O Negative/Danzig/Quiet Riot) on drums and Dan Lorenzo (Hades/Non-Fiction/Cassius King) the duo used multiple guest vocalists and bassists including:
Karl Agell (COC Blind)
Dave Neabore (Dog Eat Dog)
Dewey Bragg (Kill Devil Hill)
When asked to describe their music before it’s release, Kelly was quoted as saying, “All roads lead to Black Sabbath”.
Metal Temple said, “Important words, indeed I would say that is a pretty darn accurate representation of the band,
and album as a whole. Are they a Sabbath clone? No!. There are a shit ton of great guitarists in the metal world, but few of them take the time to write actual, true to life guitar riffs. Dan’s mastery over this art is second to none.”
