Emerging from the shadowy circle surrounding ORDO VAMPYR ORIENTIS, BEFOULED MALEDICTION bring their debut album, “Desperate Necromancy”, to Black Metal Promotion, where the record is now available to hear in its entirety ahead of its official digital release on October 30, 2026.
Across seven tracks, the mysterious US project spins a macabre tale of grief, forbidden knowledge and a warlock’s desperate attempt to resurrect his deceased beloved. Melodic black metal, spectral keyboards and sinister harmonies shape a narrative that gradually spirals from mourning into obsession, as the pursuit of lost love gives way to increasingly disturbing consequences.
Drawing on the Scandinavian melodic black metal tradition while embracing the eerie atmosphere of dungeon synth, “Desperate Necromancy” unfolds as a supernatural tragedy in which the boundary between devotion and damnation grows ever thinner. Limited vinyl editions will follow on November 13 through Ixiol Productions and Dawnbreed Records.
