“Addiction can take many faces. Relapse is about the erosion of trust and how difficult it is to change behaviour. The more times you apologise and say you’ll change, the less weight those words hold.”
“You might climb out,
Wash yourself clean,
But the stains still show”

“With ‘Frayed’, the four piece alternative rock outfit delivers a welcome reminder that music can be abrasive, unpredictable, and downright addictive without begging for mainstream approval. Their sound occupies that wonderfully uncomfortable territory where jagged guitars collide with dark melodies and rhythms seem determined to make their own rules. It is the kind of musical mischief that makes you want to turn the volume up and give your neighbours a fresh reason to hate you.”
Jammerzine
Red Light Acid Test came together in London 2019 to create hard, alternative rock music that is distinctively warped from the mainstream. Their choppy rhythms, staggered guitars and dark, melodic vocals make for an intense listening experience.
The four piece have been compared to Queens of the Stone Age, Killing Joke, Mark Lanegan, Idles, Helmet, Sonic Youth, Muse, all the while keeping at the forefront their own unique sound. They have released singles since 2020, all receiving wide acclaim and plays on radio stations across the UK and Ireland, incl. BBC Introducing, Kerrang, Total Rock, Scotland Rocks, MMH and many more.
Red Light Acid Test are known for their energetic and pulling-no-punches live shows, having played in bars and clubs across Southeast England incl. Hard Rock Hell, Hoxton Festival, Camden Rocks etc, and continue to build a reputation as one of the most exciting bands in alternative rock.
Ones to watch in the coming years.

Jammerzine: “LITTLE DEATH’ arrives with its teeth already sharpened, throwing choppy rhythms, staggered guitars and dark melodic vocals into the blender and somehow coming out sounding considerably more coherent than your average band attempting to be weird for the sake of being weird.“
Soaplife Magazine: SKIN ON SKIN” is dark, provocative and deliberately uncomfortable.
Get Some Magazine: SKIN ON SKIN” is bluesy, dirty, ridiculously catchy, and just sleazy enough to make you want to turn it up a little louder than you probably should. “SKIN ON SKIN” is masterful grunge rock.
Keep It Rock: STOOGE had a bit of everything and a lot of what we look for – grunginess, hard rock, gothic vibes and a sprinkling of punk in there.
RED LIGHT ACID TEST are:
