Swedish heavy metallers BLACK ROSE have just released the video for their song ‘Never Let Me Down.’ The video was shot by White Bridges Film at the beginning of November and it is the third video for their newest album, “Turn On The Night.” The video can be seen on the youtube player below:

Swedish metallers SOILWORK will start the second part of their “EUROPEAN INFINITY“ tour soon. Singer Björn „Speed“ Strid has posted a video message for the band’s fans, which can be seen below:
Commented Strid: “We are nothing short of super excited to announce the recording of our first Live DVD ever. This very special and unique evening will go down in beautiful Helsinki, Finland, where SOILWORK have always had very loyal fans and shared some great success through the years. The show will take place at The Circus on the 21st of March. It’s been a long time coming, considering we released our first album in 1998, but here it is! We can’t wait to share this special moment with you, our fans! The show will bring you songs from each and every album of our career. We also have some very special guests invited for the show as well, that we can’t wait to announce. UK’s progressive rock band, TESSERACT, present the first part of their latest album “Altered State” in a breathtaking version live in the studio. It follows a tradition the band already started on their debut album “One” as the band explains:
“Way back in 2010, we filmed a live recording of ‘Concealing Fate’ at Sphere Studios with Francesco Carmeli. We enjoyed this so much that we have always wanted to do it again, and ‘Altered State’ gave us the perfect opportunity to do so. Sphere Studios London has now closed and moved to L.A, so it was especially important for us to go back and film the recording of ‘Of Matter’ before Francesco moved the studio.
This video is hopefully the first of four, that cover the whole of the latest album, where we aim to film four different recordings of the four different sections of ‘Altered State’ in four different studios throughout our small little world. As with everything TesseracT, the video shows the slight evolution of each track as we take it from the studio on to the stage. We hope you guys enjoy it as much as we did!”

Finnish death metallers INSOMNIUM are going to release their sixth studio album, entitled “Shadows Of The Dying Sun,” on April 28th in Europe and on April 29th in North America via Century Media Records. The band have recently revealed the artwork and tracklisting of the album.
The artwork was again created by Wille Naukkarinen, all the drums were recorded at studio SF Sound (with Kimmo Perkkiö) while rest of the instruments were put on tape at studio Korkeakoski under watching eyes of Teemu Aalto. André Alvinzi (Fascination Street Studios) took care of the mix and the album is mastered by Svante Forsbäck at Chartmakers.
