Satan Takes A Holiday follows up their album Satanism and collaborates with Dregen on a single version of the song Traps!. This time, Satan Takes A Holiday entered the venerable Studio Ingrid with Johan Gustafsonn (The Hives, Randy) and long-time collaborator Alexander Idfalk to rekindle the flames behind their mix of rock’n’roll and 60s garage with their love of dark contemporary pop. The band comments:
“It popped up as an idea (a best scenario wish, really) as we were recording the song Traps! back in 2022. Dregen is one of the few real rockstars to ever come out of Sweden, mainly as a guitar hero, though we picked up on his undeniable vocal chops during our European tour with Backyard Babies a few years ago. We are beyond thrilled to finally have this collaboration in the books!”
Dregen adds: “So cool to finally get to collaborate with this power-trio and particularly on THIS powerhouse of a song that is spelled TRAPS! Satan Takes A Holiday has long been a favorite band and they toured with us in Backyard Babies already on the European tour “Nordic Noir 2019”. Tight. Sweaty. Swaying. The trio becomes a sharp foursome on TRAPS!”
Satan Takes A Holiday Satanism is the band’s most overt and poignant album to date, dealing with themes such as grief, sleepless nights, parenthood, violent confrontations and final showdowns while inviting you to dance, riot and reflect. It’s simply Satan Takes a Holiday distilled to its purest form, making for one hell of a soundtrack. The new album sees artists such as EMMON, (Patrik) Von Arfve, Andreas Hourdakis and David Park jump on board and join Satan Takes A Holiday on this crazy new journey.
The singles from Satanism have been in high rotation on both Pirate Rock and Bandit Rock. Earlier in their career, the band has been noticed by radio stations such as BBC 6 Music by Iggy Pop himself and several additions to P3, and has been reviewed by press such as Classic Rock/Louder Sound, Ghost Cult Magazine, Rock Hard etc. As one of Sweden’s best live bands, they have toured the country several times and also shared the stage with legends such as Kiss, the Sonics, Mustasch, Juliette Lewis, Backyard Babies and Imperial State Electric.
Dregen From the small town of Nässjö to the world’s biggest stages, Dregen has spent his life embodying rock ’n’ roll. As the guitar-slinging force behind Backyard Babies and a founding member of The Hellacopters, he’s shaped the sound of Swedish rock, earned multiple Grammys, and even opened for legends like KISS and AC/DC. Beyond music, Dregen’s creative fire knows no bounds—whether it’s painting, designing furniture, crafting his own beer, or releasing a critically acclaimed solo album. With his signature mix of swagger, grit, and unrelenting energy, he continues to prove why he’s one of Sweden’s most legendary rock figures. Now, with new music, new ventures, and a spirit that never fades, Dregen is as unstoppable as ever.
Prepare to be enveloped in the ethereal soundscapes of BOSCO SACRO as the Italian ambient/doomgaze quartet releases a video for their new single, “The Future Past”. This track is a first glimpse into their forthcoming live album, “Live at Chiesa Armena”, slated for release on April 18 via Go Down Records.
Known for their evocative and deeply immersive sound, BOSCO SACRO has once again crafted a sonic journey that transcends traditional genre boundaries.
“The Future Past is the fastest composition we’ve ever made, and one of our all-time favourites,“ the band states. “It reached its final form in just a couple of hours of rehearsal and it was literally inspired by the time we spent together during our residency at Villa Albrizzi Marini. The song started to take shape one afternoon while the four of us silently explored the corners and details of the magic little church, pacing its floor up and down. At a certain point, we found ourselves chanting all together. The day after, we proposed again this experience during our live performance, specifically at the very beginning: an a cappella intro functioning as a gentle way to ask permission to this sacred place, before delivering our electric flow of music.“
The year 2024 marked a pivotal period for BOSCO SACRO, dedicated to honing their live performance and collaborative songwriting. The challenge of geographical distance and diverse commitments was met with focused dedication, culminating in the creation of “Live at Chiesa Armena”. This live album serves as a crucial bridge between their acclaimed debut, “Gem”, and their anticipated sophomore studio album.
The album captures the essence of a residency curated by Go Down Records within the historic Villa Albrizzi Marini. Immersed in the villa’s serene ambiance and the spiritual resonance of its chapel, the band forged a deeper connection through shared moments of contemplation and intense rehearsal sessions.

Southern California rock powerhouse Robert Jon & The Wreck return with their brand-new single, “Long Gone,” a fiery, emotionally charged track co-written with the legendary John Oates (Hall & Oates) and produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Rival Sons, Brandi Carlile).
Now available on all major streaming platforms, “Long Gone” showcases the band’s ability to fuse raw, bluesy storytelling with the kind of soaring melodies and rock-and-roll grit that have made them a force in the modern rock landscape.
“‘Long Gone’ was a song that came from a co-write with John Oates while on a trip to Nashville,” shares frontman Robert Jon Burrison. “It was an honour to work with such a great artist. Once we brought it into the room with Dave Cobb, the song took on new life with a riveting riff and a solo that punches you in the face. A song about a relationship that can’t seem to mend, this one is sure to be relatable as well as memorable.”
Initially crafted during a writing session at the historic RCA Studio A, the song went through multiple evolutions before producer Dave Cobb reshaped it into something fresh and electrifying.
“Working with Dave was one of the most inspiring things we’ve ever experienced as a band,” adds guitarist Henry James. “His ability to articulate and execute spontaneous ideas was next level. Any previous arrangement of this song we had gone out the window. Dave had a completely fresh take, and after some back-and-forth of rough onomatopoeias, we just went for it. We jammed out what you hear today in just a few takes.”
“Long Gone” is a gripping blend of blues, soul, and high-octane rock, and the latest installment in what has already been a monumental year for Robert Jon & The Wreck, following the high-energy release of “Sittin’ Pretty” and the introspective “Ashes in the Snow.” Each single has revealed a new side of the band’s ever-evolving artistry, setting the stage for their highly anticipated new studio album this summer.
In addition to releasing new music, Robert Jon & The Wreck are gearing up for an action-packed 2025 tour schedule. This month, they will join Joe Bonamassa and a star-studded lineup on the Keeping the Blues Alive at Sea X cruise (March 21-26, 2025), followed by a highly anticipated appearance at the iconic New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival (April 24, 2025). The momentum continues with an extensive Spring & Summer European tour, where they will bring their signature blend of southern rock, blues, and high-octane energy to fans across the UK, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France, and Spain.
With a slate of high-profile performances ahead, Robert Jon & The Wreck are primed for another unforgettable year on the road. For full tour dates and ticket information, visit robertjonandthewreck.com/tour.

Progressive metal powerhouse SACROSANCT has released their brand new studio offering, “Kidron”, that is out now on ROAR! To order the format of your favorite choice, available as CD, Vinyl or Digital formats, visit:https://sacrosanct.rpm.link/kidronpr
To celebrate today’s album release in glorious style, SACROSANCT have just premiered a new music video for the stirring track “Doorway of Dreams”!
“This melancholic and emotional track is very personal for the band and especially our band-leader Randy Meinhard,”SACROSANCT reveal. “It is dedicated to Mario, our former bass player, who sadly passed away far too soon and to all people who also mourn losses. Per’s lyrics touch the soul and the bands new vocalist Max Morton is creating a rollercoaster ride of emotions. A song to cry with, to dream about and find new hope.”
SACROSANCT, established in 1988, are a well respected name in the metal scene, most known for their three classic albums during the early 1990s: “Truth is – what is”, “Recesses for the depraved” and “Tragic intense”. The band’s signature sound gradually progressed from sophisticated thrash metal to a more edgy, melodic and atmospheric aural landscape. The brainchild of founding member and lead guitar player Randy Meinhard (ex-Pestilence) returned in 2018, after a 25-year hiatus, with their fourth album “Necropolis”, which was highly acclaimed and bears all of the hallmarks and intricacies that defines SACROSANCT, with a strong emphasis on melancholic melodies and harmony guitar parts as well as a focus on thought-provoking lyrics. Six years later, SACROSANCT return with the even more powerful, still complex, but catchy “Kidron”, introducing their new singer Max Morton, who outshines the album with his clear, dynamic and unique voice. “The album combines all our trademarks, has a unique atmosphere due to all the circumstances we had to go through and is accessible and complex at the same time”, Randy Meinhard recently said.
The special thing about SACROSANCT is, that every album sounds different. As the four-piece recently revealed: “We always write and play songs in our own way. We can’t and won’t deny our roots. Of course, our first albums were more thrash-heavy, but there was a lot more going on in the songs. You just can’t reduce us to that. I personally love metal from Maiden to Priest to Fates Warning, VoiVod or Slayer. When writing songs, I try to find out how heavy or “commercial” a song can be in our own way. But we always want to touch people with the music and if, for example, a blastbeat can be combined with the classic Sacrosanct riff trademarks, then we have arrived at “KIDRON”.”

This album marked a progression in the band’s sound, incorporating more technical riffs and complex compositions.
