HELLPASS is a Heavy Metal band based in Thessaloniki, Greece. Founded by its original members (Vasilis on vocals, Aggelos on guitar & Alexander on drums) Hellpass’ sound consists by a variety of the members’ heavy metal, doomy, as well as thrashy influences. Some melodies of the band’s vocals root back to the glorious Viking folk genre.
The band members have a decade of experience on stage, most of them being involved in many other bands and music styles in the past such as Snakebones, Checkmate, Blue Gin, Blue Mist, Pandora’s Prophecy, Broken Roles, The RnR Project Vienna.
Hellpass released it under the name ‘Gates of War 2023’ on the 15th of February 2023, referring to the worldwide crisis and events of this eventuous year. The album was recorded and produced by Render Productions and the sound engineer Ilias Palapelas. Their Music Videos are produced by the companies Ichochroma Productions in Association with Television Productions, and ImageNation Studios.
From the album ‘Gates of War’, the band shared with the audience several singles and the homonymous single and video from the album received a lot of positive feedback!

ROYAL HUNT have announced the EDM release of one of their most popular songs ‘Half Past Loneliness’, coming out on the New Year’s Eve.

On October 6th, MDD Records released “My Veneration”, the second album of the stoner/doom/rockers PATRIARCHS IN BLACK, the band by riff god Dan Lorenzo (Hades/Non-Fiction) and Johnny Kelly (Type O Negative/Quiet Riot). Serenity Broken is an Alternative Metal / Hard Rock band from Athens, Greece that formed in 2010.
In 2012 their first full length album entitled “Commercial Suicide” hit the road and gathered dozens of amazing reviews, airplays from press and media across the globe and TV appearances in domestic channels.
In 2013 the band released an acoustic EP “Live ‘n’ Unplugged” and in 2015 the digital single “Savior” mastered by the great Jens Bogren (Dimmu Borgir, Amon Amarth, Opeth, Arch Enemy), prepared for Commercial Suicide’s successor. After some intense preparation and hard work the band released its second full length in 2017, entitled “RE/Define” with the almighty George Kollias of the death metal pioneers Nile behind the drums, which immediately gained some impressive reviews and scores from media around the world. “RE/Define” shines with an excellent mix & mastering again by the Finnish sound guru Ahti Kortelainen ( Sentenced, Sonata Arctica, Nightfall) at Tico Tico Studios.
After the Covid madness the band released a new single called “Who We Are” in 2022 as the first part of a 3 track single series. The second one will hit soon and hard. Beware.
The Winter Solstice is a significant day in the Pagan calendar marking the symbolic death and rebirth of the Sun. In the Northern Hemisphere it is the single day of the year with the longest period of night, with the days after becoming increasingly lighter.
In celebration of this special day, left-field metal luminaries ENSLAVED are proud to reveal their single and video for ‘Sequence – Live’. The track, which originally comes from their 2020 record Utgard, sees a live recording detailing a new interpretation of the song, with nuanced accompaniment by fellow psychedelic Norwegian prog band Shaman Elephant. This extraordinary performance took place during the 2021 Winter Solstice, via the stunning streaming event ‘The Otherworldly Big Band Experience’.

Enslaved recently played their final live show of the year at Damnation Festival, following on from a hectic festival season with performances at the likes of Midgardsblot, ArcTanGent, Brutal Assault, Beyond The Gates and Desertfest Antwerp, on-top of a co-headline tour across the USA and Canada earlier this year with Insomnium.
Enslaved’s latest avant-garde creation, Heimdal, was released earlier this year. Their breathtaking 16th studio album is both a departure and a communion with roots forged over three decades ago in the turbulent birth throes of Norway’s black metal scene.
