VLAD IN TEARS have released their new single and video ‘Silent Snow Bloody Night’.
‘Silent Snow Bloody Night’ is a dark, atmospherically dense dark rock track that combines winter silence with emotional intensity. Cold synth pads, heavy guitars and Kris Vlad’s haunting vocals create a ‘winter horror’ mood between pain and beauty.

Stockholm’s black/death metal outfit SPEGLAS has announced their forthcoming debut album, “Endarkenment, Being & Death”, set for release on February 27th, 2026, via Trust No One Recordings. Alongside the announcement, the band has unveiled the first single, “The Spirit Postmortem”, giving listeners an early taste of the album’s dark, immersive sound.
Vocalist and guitarist Isak Rosemarin shares: “‘The Spirit Postmortem’is not only a track from the album, but also part of the albums overarching concept, influenced by Nietzschean philosophy. The song takes the idea of the death of the collective human spirit, the collapse of meaning and the fading drive to move forward and upward, and mirrors it to the biological stages of the dying human body. Sonically, it has a melancholic and desperate feel to it, while being driving, intense and aggressive“.
Tracklist:
Woe
The Endarkenment
Incessant Severance
Dearth
The Spirit Postmortem
Ailing
Hitherto Awry
Rage Upon The Dying Fire
Formed in 2015, SPEGLAS has always operated with a singular aim: to fuse the visceral intensity of black and death metal with the driving force and melodic weight of classic heavy metal. The result is a sound that is raw, fierce, and atmospheric – yet unexpectedly heartfelt, vulnerable, and even empowering. Their so far released EPs – “Birth, Dreams & Death” (2015, Imperium) and “Time, Futility & Death” (2022, Pulverised) – already hinted at a band unafraid to wander beyond genre boundaries. With their forthcoming debut, SPEGLAS refine that vision into something even more nuanced and personal.
The band’s lineup consists of vocalist and guitarist Isak Rosemarin (Sweven, ex-Morbus Chron, ex-Century), drummer Jesper Nyrelius (Sweven), guitarist Alexi Hedlund, and newly added bassist Victor Berg (New Keepers of the Water Towers). With Victor’s arrival completing the lineup, SPEGLAS are now gearing up to bring their dark, immersive sound to the stage in support of the album’s release.
The album was mixed by Simon Söderberg (Ghost, Henrik Palm) at Studio Mayfire and mastered by Magnus Lindberg (Cult of Luna, Ulcerate, Russian Circles etc). Pre-orders are set to launch in December or early January.
UK cult thrash collective Holosade have announced the re-issue of their debut album Hellhouse via Hammerheart Records. The “forgotten” 1988 classic will be released on vinyl on 20th February, 2026.
It’s more than fair and reasonable to appoint the United Kingdom as the birthplace of classic heavy metal “beasts”, as well as of N.W.O.B.H.M. revolution. Once in a while, we should honour UK’s underground bands too. Bring on Hellhouse by Holosade to re-issue.
Track-list: 1. Look Into the Mirror 2. Welcome to Hellhouse 3. Love It to Death 4. Madame Guillotine 5. Psycho 6. Bitter Sweet 7. Eternal Life 8. Nightmare Reality
Holosade was formed back in 1985 in Darlington, County Durham, North England. In charge of the band is singer Philip de Sade, the mastermind till nowadays. Until the release of Hellhouse, the band had four demos, a split EP, as well as their participation in the collection The Metal Collection Vol. I, on Ebony Records, in 1986. The fundamental Demo 1987 defines the path for Hellhouse that follows, with songs such as ‘Psycho’ and ‘Eternal Life’. It was the split though that helped the band get a record deal. Selling up to 2,000 copies instantly caught the attention of Powerstation and FM/Revolver.
The original idea was to release a six track mini LP, but they had already completed eight, thus it was difficult to set a side 2 songs… The company encouraged them to proceed with a full-length release. Besides the sound, Hellhouse is a true/cult diamond with eight fantastic heavy/thrash metal compositions such as ‘Madame Guillotine’ and ‘Psycho’ being the album’s trademark. The lyrics and artwork are inspired by horror books and movies.
The debut album of Finnish melancholic metal band Mourning Wood, Murder Of Crows paints a picture of declining sanity and hope of a painless demise. “Problems are portrayed like a murder or ‘flock’ of crows which always show up more than one at a time.” says Eino-Akseli Koski, the guitarist/songwriter of Mourning Wood. The raw, brutish, yet sensitive flow of the album goes through stages of maniacal excess, substance abuse, despair, depression and existential crisis before fadingly embracing its final resting place with a sigh of relief. Murder Of Crows comes out accompanied by a music video for the song A Grave Vacation, depicting a protagonist with the hope and intent of taking a longer break. The video is made by Heikki Sulander.
“The song and the video are both an excellent portrayal of what Mourning Wood is all about. We may have dark themes in our songs, but we never forget the humorous side of being gloomy and melancholic.”, says Koski.
Founded in 2021, Mourning Wood leans heavily on northern melancholy and it’s idols such as Sentenced, Judas Priest, Ozzy Osbourne, Billy Idol and Gary Moore. This band that spreads the joy of sorrow consists of professional musicians, armed with a long history of playing together which is evident in Mourning Wood’s intense presence especially in their live shows. Even though each member of Mourning Wood lives far apart, the band’s roots were created in Kajaani, Finland in 2013.
Mourning Wood is also a familiar sight from a tribute tour surrounding the biography book publication of Sentenced lead guitarist, Miika Tenkula. The book, Melankolian Mestari (Master of Melancholy) – Miika Tenkula was written by Nefertiti Malaty who also established the book tour that also had musical tributes from three bands.
In October 2026, two of the most influential forces in extreme metal join together for a monumental live assault: Behemoth and Dimmu Borgir will embark on the “In League With Satan” Co-Headline Tour, storming across Europe and the UK. As special guests, the Swedish black metal icons Dark Funeral will add even more ferocity to an already devastating lineup.
This unholy trinity represents some of the darkest, most powerful, and most visionary acts the genre has ever produced. Fans can expect colossal stage productions, blistering performances, and an atmosphere steeped in occult grandeur and sonic extremity.
The “In League With Satan” tour promises to be one of the most anticipated extreme metal events of the decade.
Dimmu Borgir says:
“It’s been a few years since we’ve done a proper European tour, and what a great way to get back out there—teaming up with our brothers in Behemoth for this massive European run. We’ll be bringing a brand-new show with us, and we can’t wait to share our next chapter with both new and familiar faces.”
Nergal commented: “Legions of Europe! We decided to outdo ourselves and bring the biggest black metal package ever assembled. Behemoth, Dimmu Borgir and Dark Funeral…historic…biblical! Let’s get evil as fuck!”
Tickets go on sale on Wednesday 3rd December.

Finnish neoclassical dark wave outfit KLAShTAL released their debut album “Oblivion Dreams” yesterday, on November 28th.
The man behind KLAShTAL, Jesse Heikkinen comments on the new album: “I created this album in summer -24 when my then 3-year-old son asked me to create some sleepytime music for him. As usually, I got carried away by the ideas, ending up creating this musical concept where I combined my own childhood memories and fears with my current fascination of post-apocalyptic themes and mysteries of the personal and collective unconscious. After I had finished my own parts I felt like there was still something missing. I asked my friend TJ (also known as King Dude) if he could add some grit and character with his Moog. He knew exactly what I was looking for! The end result was something dark and meditative, menacing but still comforting. I wish this album takes the listener to some unexplored places and gives them a moment of tranquility.“
Started as an ambient side project, KLAShTAL has now transformed into a serious channel of self-expression for the Finnish musician Jesse Heikkinen (Iterum Nata, The Abbey, ex-Hexvessel). KLAShTAL’s debut album Oblivion Dreams marks a new chapter in Heikkinen’s ever-evolving musical career and pushes his experiments with different genres even further. While dark, dreamlike and meditative, yet comforting and healing, KLAShTAL’s music will take the listener to post-apocalyptic ruins of a lost world where the echoes of mankind have almost completely softened. KLAShTAL’s music pays respect to genres like dungeon synth, dark wave and new age, as well as bands like Dead Can Dance, Forndom and Nox Arcana. All music on Oblivion Dreams is written, played, recorded and produced by Heikkinen, except the Moog synthesizer played by Thomas Cowgill, also known as the neofolk/dark americana artist King Dude.
