THY KINGDOM WILL BURN has released a video for “To End Of Times”, taken from the new album “The Loss And Redemption” released in January by Scarlet Records. STREAM/BUY the album.
This video captures the Thy Kingdom Will Burn live atmosphere and gives you a glimpse of the wild creatures you meet when you come to one. The song itself is a tribute to sadness: a reminder that, sometimes, feeling sad can actually be a good thing – it’s a feeling that helps ease the pain.

After establishing themselves as one of the most interesting new bands of the Finnish melodic death metal scene with the first two records, Thy Kingdom Will Burn has definitely found a peculiar, moving voice.
“The Loss And Redemption” is by far their most personal work: musically-wise, the album is massive, pitch-black dark, and beautifully melancholic at the same time – once again the guys have pushed themselves to the next level as songwriters and musicians.
The lyrics deal with loneliness and longing to escape the chaos of modern life – something we can all easily identify with.
Thy Kingdom Will Burn are magnificent torchbearers of darkness & light, gloom & hope, in that quite unique Finnish fashion!

Step into The Zone — a cursed expanse where reality warps, nature mutates, and escape is impossible. The latest slab of sonic dread from Finnish sludge metal conjurors Abysmal Rites drags the listener deep into a grey, lifeless swamp of distortion, despair, and doom-soaked atmosphere.
With monolithic riffs, guttural invocations, and lyrics steeped in cosmic horror and ecological decay, “The Zone” stands as a warning: some thresholds are not meant to be crossed.
“This is the second song written for this album, and it was the first one played live at the shows,” says the band. “It provides an oppressive and threatening introduction to the chorus, which then digs into a nice, heavy atmosphere. The lyrics are inspired by Andrei Tarkovsky’s “The Stalker” film, as well as to some extent the original “Predator” world. In a way, the story is about a person on the run, who has no chance of getting out of the situation he has found himself in. Nevertheless, survival instincts force you to fight. It’s a natural way of acting.”
“The Zone” is a track taken from the band’s album, “Restoring The Primordial Order” out via Wormholedeath.
Will Ramos, Adam De Micco, Michael Yager, Andrew O’Connor, and Austin Archey once again tear through deathcore’s boundaries, blending orchestral grandeur, brutal riffing, and emotional depth. Coming off the success of Pain Remains, LORNA SHORE evolve once more—refusing compromise, doubling down on extremity, and creating a dark, unrelenting, and strangely hopeful body of work. This is your world according to LORNA SHORE—everblack, everburning.
LORNA SHORE are so proud to finally unveil their brand new single and video for “Oblivion”, taken from their upcoming album, ‘I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me’ — Coming out September 12th
Video directed by Dylan Hryciuk of Versa Films
“Writing this song felt like the culmination of all the things that we’ve done in the past, but brought to the next level; a more evolved version of what Lorna Shore truly is. I imagined a post-apocalyptic world in the (hopefully distant) future. A world where we have sown the seeds of our own destruction. The idea that we wished for better, hoped we were doing something that would help save us in this dying world, only to end up accelerating its inevitable destruction. This brings up the question; what is right? Do we even know what we’re doing? What have we done to try and actually change anything? Are we watering the earth or just feeding a constantly growing fire?” — Will Ramos
TOUR: In support of the new record, we will embark on a North American tour starting September 17 w/ The Black Dahlia Murder + Shadow Of Intent and PeelingFlesh ! TICKETS: General tickets go on sale Friday, May 23 and fan presales will begin Monday May 19
Shocking News! Legendary Metal musician SNOWY SHAW was allegedly disqualified in this year’s Grande Finale of The Eurovision Song Contest where he performed his song “Lullaby” at St. Jakobshalle Arena in Basel, Switzerland.
“This is a scandal and a disgrace to the good entertainment quality standards of the Eurovision commitée and administration” says Broadcasting producer Michael DuBoir, and continues “None of the vulgar display with blood and nudity were part of the rehearsal earlier during the day. It’s totally unacceptable and violates the community guidelines.
Local news have tried getting in contact with Snowy Shaw to comment on the dramatic incident but have so far not been able to get through to him, and his manager says he’s inaccessible and nowhere to be found.
“When Snowy Shaw – the legendary shock metal artist & multi-instrumentalist, tonight competed in the Eurovision song contest with his song “Lullaby”, things got out of control, which led to his number being disqualified. Snowy who has a background in the more extreme metal scene with bands such as King Diamond, Dimmu Borgir, Notre Dame, Sabaton, Mercyful Fate etc must have misunderstood the format of this feelgood family event when including vulgar indecent exposure, nudity and blood, lots of blood!
“Lullaby”, the song itself is both dark and gothic yet melodic and very catchy and the stage act scenario started out beautifully and fairytale-eque where King Snowy sits on his throne surrounded by a posse of promiscuous black-clad women dressed as witches and sexy female vampires. So far so good. Then suddenly all hell breaks loose! Somehow one can’t help thinking of Quentin Tarantino’s epic movie “From Dusk Till Dawn”, which certainly is not a bad thing. Snowy is (in-)famous for his strong integrity, not following rules and doing things his own way, no matter the cost.
Be it – having his number banned and disqualified in the Eurovision Song contest – for life.
Swedish melodic rock band THE DEVIL WEARS NADA proudly announce the release of their brand new single and video, “Juliet,” as well as their highly anticipated debut album, Postalgia, due out via renowned U.S. hard rock label Eönian Records on Friday, May 23rd, with presales open and doing remarkably well.
The haunting and emotionally charged “Juliet” captures the band’s signature blend of vintage rock sentiment and orchestral finesse. Originally conceived at the piano in 2019, the song became a standout during production. “I knew from the start that Juliet would be special,” says Ludvig. “It began with a simple piano progression and evolved into something we all deeply connected with.” Recording the track took time to perfect, especially its delicate piano elements, which were ultimately captured by guitarist/keyboardist Jacob in a Stockholm studio. “It had to feel just right, like every instrument was breathing together,”Ludvig adds. “Jacob absolutely nailed the piano part, and the track came alive from there.”“Juliet” was nearly chosen as the album’s lead single, a testament to its emotional pull and powerful arrangement.
THE SCANDINAVIA MUSIC SCENE Scandinavia has long been a breeding ground for world-class musical talent, particularly within the melodic rock and AOR genres. Continuing this proud legacy, Falköping, Sweden’s THE DEVIL WEARS NADA emerges as a compelling new force on the scene. Rooted in the golden era of melodic hard rock – from the mid-1980s to the early 1990s, the band skillfully blends nostalgic eighties sensibilities with a bold, modern edge, drawing inspiration from theatrical icons like Alice Cooper, Ghost, and Lordi.
POSTALGIA: A Cinematic Melodic Rock Statement Fusing the grandiosity of ‘80s AOR with eerie theatrics and modern production, Postalgia is a bold debut. The album features 13 tracks, including the standout title track, the soaring ballad “Dear Marilyn,” and a blistering cover of Nestor’s cult hit “1989.”“It’s a melting pot of ‘70s and ‘80s melodic rock with our shared love for the eerie and the epic,” explains guitarist Henrik Westergren. “It’s familiar yet unsettling, in the best way.” From the anthemic opener “Adecence” to the haunting finale “Victim,”Postalgia doesn’t just nod to the past, it redefines it for a new generation.
CHAOS, CHARISMA & A LABEL THAT BELIEVES Originally self-released in a limited run of 100 copies under the name Adecence, the album has been fully remixed, remastered, and reimagined for its wide release via Eönian Records. The revamped version features two brand-new tracks and a deluxe booklet with exclusive artwork and liner notes. “Some of our biggest sounds came from the most chaotic setups,” recalls bassist/vocalist and co-producer Fredrik Svensson Carlström. “But that rawness gave the album its punch.”
The partnership with Eönian Records marks a major turning point for the band. “Ryan and Stephen at Eönian got what we were trying to do from the beginning,” says Ludvig. “They gave us a home where this vision could thrive.”“Postalgia is sharp, cinematic, and completely addictive,” adds Ryan Northrop, co-founder of Eönian Records. “One of the most exciting hard rock debuts we’ve heard in years. They’re talented, dedicated, and truly one of a kind,” says Stephen Craig. “Big things are ahead for THE DEVIL WEARS NADA.”

And the story doesn’t end here: the band has already begun work on their follow-up album, with studio time booked for summer. “We’re just getting started,”Ludvig hints. “The next chapter is already being written.”“Thank you to everyone who’s joined us on this journey,” adds Henrik. “This record was built from the ground up with passion, sweat, and a lot of heart. Let’s keep melodic rock alive, and loud.”
Hailing from Falköping, Sweden, THE DEVIL WEARS NADA delivers a powerful blend of arena-sized hooks, haunting theatrics, and a deep-seated love for the golden era of melodic rock. With a sound that balances nostalgia and modern edge, the band is carving out its place as a rising force in Sweden’s hard rock scene.
At the heart of the group is drummer and principal songwriter Ludvig Alfvén, joined by an electrifying lineup: powerhouse vocalist Linus Johansson, guitarist Henrik Westergren, bassist/vocalist Fredrik Svensson Carlström, and multi-instrumentalist Jacob Werner, handling both keyboards and lead guitar. Together, they channel the spirit of classic rock with a fresh intensity and anthemic energy built for the big stage.
Their debut album, Postalgia, marks a powerful introduction to their signature sound – a blend of soaring melodies, anthemic choruses, and cinematic flair. Originally released under the name Adecence in an ultra-limited run of just 100 CDs, the album quickly became a sought-after gem among collectors. Now, rebranded and remastered under THE DEVIL WEARS NADA, the album gets a full-scale revival through Eönian Records.
This definitive edition includes two brand-new studio recordings, a high-octane cover of “1989” by fellow Swedish rockers Nestor, and a deluxe booklet with exclusive artwork and liner notes – making it a must-have for fans of AOR, melodic rock, and classic hard rock alike.

TASSI has unveiled a new chapter in their esoteric journey with the release of the single “怪想录 III”, now available for streaming. Premiering ahead of the full-length “Idamon Novasah-Liva” – due out May 31st, 2025 via Dusktone – this track offers a haunting glimpse into the introspective depths of the project’s ever-evolving vision.
With this highly anticipated chapter, TASSI continues its introspective and spiritual journey through a soundscape that blends post-black metal soundscapes and deep emotional storytelling.
TASSI is a project born from the mind of Chinese artist Dryad, also known for his work under BLISS-ILLUSION. Through this creation, Dryad gives life to TASSI, a bard wandering between heaven and man, whose esoteric and mystical journey revolves around the search for his lost love, Uni — the embodiment of his unwavering faith.
TASSI travels through time and surreal dimensions — romantic, divine, broken, or mad. Uni has transcended the sky and humanity itself, becoming a symbol of absolute love and spiritual devotion. This metaphysical odyssey unfolds as an intimate, nearly initiatory quest, where music becomes the language of the soul.
The upcoming album “Idamon Novasah-Liva” stands as a parallel branch — or sister series — to the Northland saga, forming what Dryad calls “The Chronicle of Strange Thoughts.” This new chapter delves into a more introspective and melancholic emotional layer of TASSI — a kind of inner double or alternate self.
Musically, “Idamon Novasah-Liva” embraces a depressive / blackgaze / post-black metal aesthetic, rich in sorrowful textures, meditative riffs, and deeply personal lyrics. The voice moves between prayer and lament, echoing through ethereal soundscapes and cathartic darkness.
All Western artworks for the project — including this release — are the work of Alcide Nathanaël, a visual artist from the esoteric and spiritual world, far removed from traditional metal imagery. His contribution brings an otherworldly and symbolic dimension to TASSI’s universe, perfectly aligned with its mystical essence.
