Heavy rock band AUDREY HORNE continue to deliver absolute hit material with their new single “God Damn Beautiful,” cut from the new 8th studio album Achilles (out September 4, 2026, via Napalm Records)! This groovy, Thin Lizzy -inspired track brings bass player Espen Lien to center stage on lead vocals, and arrives with a playful official music video.

The follow-up to the critically praised latest studio albums Blackout (2018) and Devil’s Bell (2022), the upcoming studio offering Achilles stays true to AUDREY HORNE‘s classic heavy rock sound while demonstrating the more melodic side of the band. These Norwegian rock exports are also set to bring the new album on the road in Europe this autumn on yet another international headline tour. Check out the music video for “God Damn Beautiful” below and secure your copy of Achilles now!

AUDREY HORNE on “God Damn Beautiful”:
“The fight for being center stage and in the limelight has always been strong and at times pretty ugly in AUDREY HORNE. But now Espen has taken it a step further and pushed Toschie into the shadows.
‘God Damn Beautiful’ is straight-to-the-point, dripping with twin guitars and is simply beautiful, much like Espen himself. Things might look bright for him, but Toschie still has a couple of tricks up his sleeve. Stay tuned for the next chapter.”

Pre-Order Your Copy of Achilles NOW

The new album features 11 multi-faceted tracks, ranging from high-energy heavy rock pieces to more melodic and progressive songs, leaving no questions about the songwriting capabilities of this five-piece, which consists of vocalist Toschie, guitarists Ice Dale (Enslaved) and Thomas Tofthagen, bassist Espen Lien and drummer Kjetil Greve.

Hard-hitting title track “Achilles” kicks the new album right off as roaring guitars meet an impactful rhythm section, all topped with powerfully captivating vocals. The band showcases their more progressive side on the song through creating a strong contrast between different parts, which supports the lyrics that draw from today’s polarized world. The band stays true to its sound on the high-energy rock’n’roll number “Insanity” that features a catchy chorus and twin guitars – and a gripping storyline inspired by the classic Iron Maiden tune “Hallowed be thy name”! Closing track “New Star Falling” wraps the album up beautifully, showcasing the melodic side of AUDREY HORNE‘s sound.

With Achilles, AUDREY HORNE return with an atmospheric heavy rock album that combines classic ‘70s and ‘80s influences with lyrical themes spanning escapism to commentary on the instability of the world we live in. It’s a perfect fit for both rock radio and live stages!

British Rock N Roll band SILVEROLLER have officially signed a worldwide multi album deal with renowned Italian rock label Frontiers Records. The band’s highly anticipated debut album is set for release in March 2027, accompanied by an extensive run of UK tour dates

“We are beyond thrilled to be signing with Frontiers, an incredible label with an incredible philosophy, and a roster to match. We’re looking forward to getting to work and delivering our debut album!” Says frontman Jonnie Hodson

While often associated with the golden era of ’70s rock, SILVEROLLER are anything but a nostalgia act. Blending classic influences with contemporary songwriting, infectious hooks, and electrifying performances, the band has forged a sound that feels both timeless and refreshingly modern.

Their explosive live shows have already earned them a reputation as one of the UK’s most exciting rising rock acts, captivating audiences with raw energy, musical excellence, and undeniable stage presence. With their debut album, SILVEROLLER are set to deliver that same intensity on record—marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter alongside Frontiers Records.

SILVEROLLER will be on tour in Europe this September:

Sept 11 – Sinner Rock Festival – Altengronau DE

Tickets Available now: https://www.silveroller.com/

SILVEROLLER are a five-piece Rock N Roll Band hailing from Liverpool. At first glance, it would be easy to dismiss them as just another ’70s rock revival act. However, the band offers far more than nostalgia, combining youthful energy with a deep understanding that great songs are built on more than just riffs and lyrics.

The band burst onto the scene in 2024 with the release of their debut EP, *At Dawn*. Their captivating live performances and relentless touring schedule quickly earned them a devoted and rapidly growing following. Sharing stages with acts such as DeWolf, Jared James Nichols, The Wildhearts, Crobot and Reef helped establish SILVEROLLER as one of the most exciting emerging live bands on the circuit. Their tour with DeWolf proved particularly successful, leading to a personal invitation to perform at DeWolff Fest in Utrecht later that year.

Festival promoters were equally impressed. After appearing on the local stage at Call of the Wild Festival in 2025, the band were immediately invited back to perform on the main stage in 2026. They were also selected to appear at the iconic Maid of Stone Festival in 2026.

SILVEROLLER debut EP received widespread praise from key media outlets. Planet Rock Radio became an early supporter, regularly featuring the band’s singles, while *Classic Rock Magazine* highlighted them in its *High Hopes* feature. Describing singer Jonnie Hodson as “a grinning barrel of Paul Rodgers-voiced, Rod Stewart-haired energy” and “a firecracker frontman,” the magazine also drew comparisons to legendary acts including Bad Company, Blackberry Smoke, The Faces and The Black Crowes.

In 2026, the band’s hard work and growing reputation were rewarded when Frontiers Records signed SILVEROLLER to a multi-album deal. Their new album is scheduled for release in March 2027 and the band will be touring across the UK and Europe to promote it.

RED CODE Sign with Epictronic + Unleash New Single & Video ‘Quarantine’

Epictronic is proud to announce the signing of Italian alternative prog metal band Red Code. Marking the beginning of this new partnership, the band has released their new single and official video, “Quarantine,” the first preview of their debut EP, Traces of unease and discomfort (Episode 1), due for release this September.

Stream “Quarantine”: orcd.co/quarantinesingle

“Quarantine,” together with “Toxic Karma” and “Checkmate,” forms part of An Archive of Us, a sci-fi/thriller short film that explores a dystopian world as a metaphor for humanity’s need for control. Produced by S@NGIORGIO 2020 with technical support from Infinity Digital, the project expands Red Code’s music into a cinematic narrative where psychological tension and social commentary intertwine.

The single captures the band’s distinctive approach to alternative and progressive metal, pairing powerful riffs with emotionally charged songwriting and the commanding performance of vocalist Lenina.

The band’s statement about the signing:
“Signing with Epictronic is, for us, both a wonderful surprise and the culmination of years of work aimed at giving the metal scene in our region the recognition it deserves beyond our borders,” the band said in a statement. “It’s the icing on the cake after years of stages, festivals, and events shared with the bands that helped keep this scene alive. Our biggest thank you goes to our fans — those who’ve followed us for years, and those about to discover us.”

“Traces of unease and discomfort (Episode 1)” tracklist:

01 Toxic Karma
02 He Knows
03 Checkmate
04 Quarantine
05 I Stand Alone [Godsmack Cover]

About Red Code

Red Code was formed in Trieste as a live act, founded by vocalist Lenina, drummer Ivo, and bassist Andrea Bossi, who later passed away. The band kept playing in his memory and has built a steady live history, opening for Cristina Scabbia (Lacuna Coil), Exilia, Nicola Manzan (Bologna Violenta), Pierpaolo Capovilla (Il Teatro degli Orrori), Underwaves, Tystnaden, Logical Terror, and Break Me Down, and performing on Radio Rai and at venues, festivals, and motorcycle rallies across the region. The sound is built entirely on Lenina’s vocals and the band’s instruments, with no backing tracks, post-production, or sequencing — alternative metal aggression filtered through prog influences, with touchpoints ranging from System of a Down and Godsmack to Dream Theater and Fates Warning. Traces of Unease and Discomfort is the band’s first studio release of original material after years of live shows.

Traces of unease and discomfort (Episode 1)

“Traces of unease and discomfort” draws on the personal experiences of each band member, all of whom contributed to the music and lyrics. The songs move through claustrophobic relationships, toxic dynamics, personal responsibility for pain, and self-sabotage. Tracks were mixed and mastered partly by Jens Bogren and Ricardo Borges at Fascination Street Studios in Örebro, Sweden — whose credits include Arch Enemy, Sepultura, Katatonia, Devin Townsend, Ihsahn, At the Gates, Dark Tranquillity, Paradise Lost, and Symphony X — and partly by Simone Mularoni at Domination Studio, who has worked with Deathless Legacy, Elvenking, Vision Divine, and Michael Romeo, and plays guitar in DGM.

About the photo shooting:

On May 12, 1986, shortly after the explosion of the Chernobyl reactor, the American networks ABC and NBC broadcast the first images of the disaster: a smoking chimney, square concrete silhouettes, typically Soviet in style. Except they were fake — forgeries. The images were actually of well-known architectural landmarks in Trieste. Cristian Deklic’s photo shoot follows Red Code through the locations behind one of the most colossal fake news stories in world journalism, set in what was at the time Italy’s eastern border.

Gabriele – Bass, backing vocals

Black Metal Collective Expands Global Touring Strategy for 2027 Campaigns

Rising American black metal force WICKED ONE has officially signed an exclusive booking agreement with Lucifer’s Business for all Latin American territories, marking another significant milestone as the band continues its international expansion.

The partnership establishes Lucifer’s Business as WICKED ONE’s exclusive representative throughout Latin America for live performances, festivals, and touring opportunities, with booking campaigns scheduled to begin in 2027.

Following the release of their debut single “Kneel Before Lucifer”, which premiered on Metal Injection, WICKED ONE has rapidly positioned itself as one of black metal’s most anticipated emerging acts. Featuring an accomplished lineup of extreme metal veterans – including Scott Eames (Vital Remains, ex-Nile, ex-Thy Antichrist), Darren Cesca (ex-Deeds of Flesh), and Max Lavelle (The Black Dahlia Murder) – the band continues laying the foundation for a worldwide campaign leading into the release of its debut album.

Latin America has long been recognized as one of the world’s strongest and most passionate markets for extreme metal, making the partnership with Lucifer’s Business a natural step in WICKED ONE’s long-term touring strategy.

“We’re proud to welcome Lucifer’s Business as our exclusive booking agency throughout Latin America. This partnership represents the next stage of WICKED ONE’s growth, and we’re looking forward to bringing our live ritual to audiences across the region beginning in 2027. This is only the beginning.”

Additional announcements regarding festivals, tours, and international activity will be revealed in the coming months.

KÄRBHOLZ Release Third Single + Video ‘Messers Schneide’ from Upcoming Studio Album

KÄRBHOLZ releases ‘Messers Schneide’, the third lead single from their upcoming new studio album ‘Sturm Zieh Auf’, which will be released on 18 September via Metalville.

Hallelujah, what is probably the most profound song in recent music history is getting a sequel. ‘Messers Schneide’ is the long-overdue tribute to the 2015 track ‘Tiefflieger’ and has just one aim: Dance, you wonderful middle-aged people!

STURM ZIEH AUF

…When the storm shatters the silence…

Three years have passed since the double release of ‘Kapitel 10: Wilde Augen’ and ‘Kapitel 11: Barrikaden’. Three years in which the world did not stand still and the band used the time to brew up a whirlwind that is now breaking loose with full force: ‘Sturm zieh auf’.

An atmospheric exchange of energy

A storm is more than just wind. It is a raw, uncontrollable force. It brings destruction, yes – but it creates the space that is so desperately needed for something new. It is the atmospheric exchange of energy that sweeps away the old to make room for change. On their new album, KÄRBHOLZ set this very moment of transformation to music.

With 13 tracks brimming with passion and emotion, the band captures the full spectrum of a storm: from the oppressive ‘calm before the storm’ through fear and unease to the boundless freedom that emerges when the pressure eases.

Authentic, edgy, uncompromising

“Sturm zieh auf” pays no heed to conventions or compatibility. The album draws on the harder elements of the band’s history and creates a self-contained universe that does not seek to please at any cost – and perhaps touches the listener so deeply precisely for that reason. It is a work for those who are prepared to question their listening habits.

•No whining, no finger-pointing: KÄRBHOLZ do not blame external circumstances.
•Focus on the self: It’s about the power of the individual to rise above the status quo.
•Unbridled positivity: Amidst the chaos, the band finds happiness in the small, essential things in life.

The ‘why’ determines the ‘how’

In the spirit of Nietzsche, the album conveys a clear message: ‘If I know a why, I can bear almost any how.’ “Sturm zieh auf” is the soundtrack for this journey. It is the musical manifestation of resilience – an invitation to face the storm, to enjoy it, and to emerge from it stronger.

KÄRBHOLZ are back. Louder, harder and more reflective than ever before.

JOTUNGRAV Release First And Only Single ‘Återfödd’ from Upcoming Debut Album

Finnish progressive folk/black metal band Jotungrav are set to release their debut album ‘Elegi’ on August 20th 2026 via Inverse Records. The only single ‘Återfödd’ is unleashed today and it’s available here: https://push.fm/fl/jotungrav-aterfodd

The band comments:

” “Återfödd” (Swedish for “reborn”) sees Jotungrav embrace its folk metal roots more than on any other song from the band’s forthcoming album. It is largely inspired by Finnish folk music and waltzes, with time signatures that are less common in metal. As a fast and energetic song it features both uplifting melodies and majestic passages, some of which can be surprisingly danceable. The song is a rather noticeable departure from Jotungrav’s usual style, as on “Återfödd” all black metal inspiration has been stripped down and replaced by elements found in progressive melodic death metal. During its eight minute runtime the listener can hear hints of Wilderun, early Ensiferum and Finsterforst, as well as 2000’s and 2010’s folk metal in general. For the band this has struck a balance between respecting the origins of Jotungrav and progressing as a band. The song focuses on one theme alone: the indomitable human spirit. It is a reminder that the cruelty of the universe cannot break one that is filled with purpose and remains unyielding. The cover art for the single reflects the flipside of this, where the death of someone beloved isn’t just a one–sided rebirth, but a turning point for both parties. Here change happens through tragedy; one lives on in memories, while the other is changed for life.”

–Composed & lyrics by Matias Stenman
–Mixed & mastered by Teemu Leskinen
–ISRC: FI3FC2602902
–Single cover by Matias Stenman

Elegi Track list:

  1. Vansinnesvisdom (07:53)
  2. Återfödd (07:51)
  3. Segern (11:30)
  4. Elegi (13:50)

–Composed & lyrics by Matias Stenman
–Mixed & mastered by Teemu Leskinen
–Album cover by Matias Stenman

BIOGRAPHY:

Jotungrav is the brainchild of singer-songwriter Matias Stenman, which incorporates elements of black metal and folk metal within a progressive metal framework. The project got its initial start in 2015, but most of the material composed back then ended up being discarded. It was in the summer of 2022 when the single Drängen was finished when Jotungrav finally materialized, with the help of fellow Sargassus members Matias Rokio, who provided percussive arrangements to the song, as well as Teemu Leskinen, who took on the mixing and mastering duties. Initially Jotungrav was a slowly progressing musical effort, but with time the project managed to accumulate enough material for a second single, Ulven, while working on more material for future releases. Both musically and thematically Jotungrav draws inspiration from early 2000s–2010s viking/pagan metal scene and mythology. The lyrics have a philosophical and symbolic focus on humanity. The songs evolve into vast soundscapes while maintaining a raw and genuine feel to them, paying homage to the early days of folk metal. As Jotungravi has developed, the band has moved closer to progressive, melodic folk metal, with the black metal influences familiar to the band playing a smaller role in the music. On the latest album “Elegi,” the songs stretch into even longer and more dynamic epics that take the listener through wartorn landscapes of the ancient world.

Line-up:
Vocals, guitars, bass, melodica, banjo, harmonica, orchestrations, composition: Matias Stenman
Drums, drum arrangements: Matias Rokio

Mixing and mastering, guitar solo on the track “Segern”: Teemu Leskinen
