KAT reveals the official release date of their anticipated new studio album, titled “Death Is Not Enough”. As one of the most influential and enduring forces in European heavy metal,
KAT confirms the release of their new full-length album, which marks a pivotal chapter in their discography.
Indeed, “Death Is Not Enough” celebrates the 40th anniversary of their legendary debut album, “Metal and Hell”, which was featured in the list of the “40 Greatest Black Metal Albums of All Time” published by Metal Hammer UK.
“Death Is Not Enough” brings major new developments and surprises for KAT fans, showcasing a band that remains firmly grounded and continues to stand the test of time.

Following the impact of their previous releases “Fallen Son” and “Wear The Crown”, California hard rock band Black Sunday return with a new chapter in their musical journey: “When I Die”, a powerful and emotionally charged new single that takes the listener on an intense sonic roller coaster.
Built around an acoustic-driven foundation, “When I Die” gradually develops its atmosphere and emotional intensity, creating a dynamic and engaging listening experience. Rather than relying solely on sheer heaviness, Black Sunday focus on tension, progression and dynamics, allowing the track to continuously build and pull the listener deeper into its sound.
The result is a song that moves through different emotional shades, transforming its acoustic-driven beginning into a compelling and powerful musical journey.

Fresh from the success of their critically acclaimed, JUNO Award-nominated self-titled album, Canadian rock powerhouse The Damn Truth will release The Damn Truth (Deluxe Edition)worldwide on Friday 11 September 2026, marking the album’s first worldwide physical release.
To celebrate, the band are shining a renewed spotlight on ‘Love Outta Luck’, one of the standout tracks from the album. Originally released as a single in September 2024, the song is available to stream now, alongside its official music video.
The album was produced by the legendary Canadian Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy Award-winning record producer Bob Rock, whose credits include Metallica, Mötley Crüe, Skid Row, Bryan Adams, Loverboy, Aerosmith and Bon Jovi. The Damn Truth’s album was recorded at Bryan Adams’ studio The Warehouse in Vancouver.

Galaa commented: “Warrior Chant has our signature rhythm that our fans fell in love with and everyone who will listen and know us will say that it is our song. Our third album has bit of everything -rhythm wise, and we see that as a progress of expanding the Hunnu Rock genre. This song has the rhythm that is original to us and is rooted in Mongolian culture. Enkush and I focused on horse head fiddle solos by imitating the horse gait and you will hear the rhythm throughout the song. Of course Jaya perfected the rhythm by adding Mongolian wind instrument, Unu did heavy percussion drum throughout. Mongolian traditional instruments are heavily used on this song and our die hard fans are going to love it!”

THE HU’s live performances have become legendary and the band will return to the UK and Europe this fall for a headline tour with Skáld. THE HU will bring their unique soundscape and entrancingly majestic performance across iconic stages throughout the UK and Europe. Beginning in the Scottish capital in September, the tour will see the band perform all the way to November across 23 cities and nine countries, including: London, Berlin, Paris, Brussels and Warsaw.

Bozzio Levin Stevens, indisputably the world’s most dangerous prog band, was around for just a few years at the end of the 20th century, a shattering union whose pedigree extended from some of the most adventurous acts of the entire rock n’roll era (Frank Zappa, UK, King Crimson, Peter Gabriel) and some of the eighties’ most turbulent dynamos (Missing Persons, Billy Idol, Michael Jackson) as well.
But the two albums they released during that brief spanare ranked among the most challenging, yet vivacious, albums in the entire progressive genre, with the second, Situation Dangerous, setting the bar so high that it has still to be truly matched, all these years later.
Reissued for the first time on October 2, Situation Dangerous was described by the website allaboutjazz.com as the band’s pursuit of “hard driving and altogether potent fusion/prog-rock style themes and tricky time signatures, [executed] with dazzling marksmanship,” at the same time as the musicians “balance the turbo-charged proceedings with joyful harmony and energetic enthusiasm.”
progarchives.com continues, “Eight beautiful pieces of music, well thought, well processed and well presented. The album is balancing between jazz rock/fusion, some flamenco, and heavier hard-rocking (even metal) guitar tunes.”
And allmusic.com singles out the individual musicians for praise – Bozzio delivering “his most explosive and perhaps his most defining work since Danger Money from 1979”; Levin bringing to bear his “entire repertoire of influences and skills”; and Stevens kicking off the album by conjuring “comparisons to manic sound frequently delivered by Robert Fripp…” before delivering “jazz, fusion, classic rock, blues-rock, and flamenco passages with accomplished ease.”
“We knew on paper that we were going to have fun,” Levin said of the trio. “Some of it was not what I’d been expecting. When Steve played the flamenco guitar, our songs went in another direction. I didn’t know how far out we’d go in advance. I know I like to go very far out, but it was a comfortable thing, and I felt like I could play my own thing during Steve’s soloing.”
Stevens continued, “Instrumental music has a very defined market and doing a record like this freed me up. There wasn’t a huge budget and there wasn’t a record company telling me what to do, which was a kind of a liberating experience for me.” Bozzio Levin Stevens, he said, allowed him to demonstrate “a side of my playing that people haven’t heard before…”; hitherto, he admitted, he was best accustomed to “working on records where you don’t play spontaneously.”
Here, that was all he was required to do!
Even more adventurous and head-spinningly complex than its predecessor (Black Light Symphony is also available from Magna Carta), Situation Dangerous is reissued on both CD and, for the first time, vinyl;. In addition, the CD features one bonus track.
