ACROSS THE SHADE Present ‘Kingdom’ Video from Upcoming Album

ACROSS THE SHADE was founded in 2011 by guitarist/vocalist Kamil Sikorski. It turned into a regular band in mid-2014 when Marcin (drums), Łukasz (guitars) and Bartek (bass) joined. So far, Silesian band released EP “Winter is Coming (2017) and album “Hope” (2019). Currently the band performs as a duo.

After almost 6 years band is preparing to release long awaited second studio album.

Music for new album titled “Madness” was recorded, mixed and mastered by Kamil Sikorski – leader of the band. Whole graphic design (cover artwork & layout) was done by Nikos Stavridakis known as VisionBlack who has in portfolio cooperation with bands as Ad Hominem, Before the Dawn, Dødsferd, Mors Subita and Wolfheart. Album will be released digitally on January 24, 2025 (pre-save).

The sounds and lyrical themes oscillate around darkness, sadness, loss, and the inseparable relationship between a man and nature. 

Musicians comments their upcoming album: “We wanted to make this album a little bit faster and agressive. And also we can think of it as the ‘Hope’ LP sequel. The name of the album – Madness – is its main theme. When someone encounters many adversities, eventually loses his hope. It can lead to them losing their sanity. The main goal is to overcome the madness. Maybe you can run away from it. Or maybe it will haunt you forever.“

EVICK Release New Single ‘Your Last One’

The brand new EVICK single, “Your Last One,” combines a classic feel with a fresh, modern edge.

While he is best known for commanding the stage as Bret Michaels’ lead guitarist and music director for over two decades, Pete Evick spent many years before that on the road and in the studio with his band Some Odd Reason, signed to Sol 3 Records under legendary producer Richard Gotterher and industry pioneer Scott Cohen. That band later evolved into EVICK, finding a home with Dreamscape Records in Los Angeles. Throughout his career with both acts, Evick created several guitar-driven pop-rock singles that gained nationwide FM radio play, including “Spin,” “Debbie,” “This Ain’t the Life,” and “Savanna.” 

Born in 1972, Evick’s sound bridges two eras – deeply rooted in ’80s hard rock while equally influenced by ’90s alternative, creating a signature style that sits comfortably alongside Bon Jovi, Poison, Matchbox 20, and the Goo Goo Dolls.
 
Though EVICK releases have become rare, 2022 saw the band issue “My Best Days,” an uplifting power-pop single that paid homage to the Bon Jovi sound of the ’80s, garnering significant fan attention and FM radio airplay. Now, EVICK returns with “Your Last One,” an emotionally charged track that revisits their classic ’80s / ’90s sound released through Vanity Music Digital.
 
The song’s verses, written a decade ago, weave autobiographical elements with nostalgic references to John Mellencamp, Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen classics. The elusive chorus finally came to Evick in an unexpected moment – during the celebration of life for his longtime friend and industry professional, Robert Junior Jones. This timing followed a difficult year marked by the loss of several friends, including rock legend CJ Snare of Firehouse.
 
“Out of nowhere after ten years, the chorus came to me in an instant,” Evick says. “I’m not one to believe in this kind of stuff, but let’s just say Junior Jones has been given a writing credit on this song.”

The chorus of “Your Last One” resonates with universal significance: “So if you have a bucket list / You better get all those things done,” Evick sings. “And if there’s someone that you’re thinking of / Don’t forget to send your love.”
 
It’s a powerful message in a world full of uncertainty, with a hook and melody that will evoke memories of cherished days gone by – while urging you to treat every moment like it’s your last.

Time To Kill Records is thrilled to welcome the legendary PUTRID OFFAL to its roster! The band’s highly anticipated new album, “Obliterated Life”, is set for release in spring 2025. More details about the album will be revealed soon.

Extirpated from the crepitating bowels of the surging death/grind scene of the early nineties, France’s PUTRID OFFAL became a cult act with their first platter of splatter, released in 1991 by Wimp Records (LP) and Adipocere Records (CD). However, the band gradually dissolved in formaldehyde by the middle of the decade.

But that is not dead which sleeps, and the beast came alive again 25 years later, delivering a renewed vision of their art with the release of their proper debut album, “Mature Necropsy”, in 2015. This was followed by countless European tours and appearances at festivals, including their iconic 2017 performance at the world-famous Hellfest, captured live for a bonus DVD accompanying their second full-length, “Sicknesses Obsessions” (2020). Another trail of devastation across Europe soon followed.

PUTRID OFFAL deliver old-school death grind deeply inspired by the early works of Carcass (“Reek of Putrefaction”, “Symphonies of Sickness”, “Necroticism”) and the initial death metal phase of Napalm Death (“Harmony Corruption”, “Utopia Banished”). With these ingredients, the band has crafted a solid and unmistakable foundation for their sound.

With “Obliterated Life”, PUTRID OFFAL add their own distinct touch, shaped by over three decades of studio work and artistic evolution. This new album represents the pinnacle of their career: a sonic butchery, powerful, filthy and brutal. Everything is in place to wound, crush and leave a lasting impact.
