BERIEDIR Reveal New Music Video ‘Neon’ from Upcoming Album

Beriedir proudly unleashes “Neon”, the second and newest single from their forthcoming third album “Liminal Spaces” set to be released in January 2025 via Rockshots Records.

Following their 2022 album “AQVA” and the amazing reception of the first single “Halo”, released just a few weeks ago, this song showcases the band’s evolution even further.

“Neon” dives deeper into the new album’s liminal aesthetic, leading the listener through empty halls and corridors to get lost in, accompanied by the ominous yet somewhat comforting hums of buzzing neon lights. Both lirically and musically, “Neon” is a compelling work of modern progressive metal. If the first single “Halo” introduced some of the themes explored in “Liminal Spaces” – melancholia, longing, and the search for understanding – “Neon” brings them to full expression, setting the tone for the whole record.

“Neon is a representation of what we experience when our perception falters, and we’re guided through existence just by our dreams and fears. This track brings to the table an even stronger taste of what our new album is going to be”. adds the band.

With “Liminal Spaces” Beriedir fully embraces a progressive and experimental sound, moving away from their power metal origins. “Neon” will enthrall fans of Pain of Salvation, Leprous, Katatonia, and Gojira, promising a deep and reflective journey. The compelling aesthetic choices, the variety of the sections and the pop-worthy refrains make “Neon” the perfect song to listen to over and over while waiting for “Liminal Spaces”.

To accompany the single, Beriedir will also release the song’s official music video, leading you in those same neverending corridors and halls.

Don’t miss the opportunity to dive into this new chapter of Beriedir’s story, prepare yourself to experience the newest glimpse of “Liminal Spaces”.

Due out January 10, 2025, “Liminal Spaces” is available for digital pre-save at https://lnk.to/AR9Bpc and CD pre-order at https://shop.rockshots.eu/en/home/6970-beriedir-liminal-spaces.html

Finnish psychedelic and progressive rock band Astral Bazaar has released their anticipated third studio album, Hypnosis of the 12th Degree.

Listen to the album on music services (Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Tidal etc.): https://push.fm/fl/astralbazaar-hypnosis12degree

On the new album, Astral Bazaar continues to explore their signature psychedelic rock style, blending playful and oriental guitar riffs with rich and layered vocal harmonies. The album also features a couple of ethereal saxophone solos and some lengthy and exciting jam sections. Compared to the band’s previous work, the song structures are more streamlined and the sounds are more organic. The psychedelic feel is rooted less in post-production and more in the band’s natural live sound – a choice partly shaped by how the album was created.

“These songs were largely born and refined through jamming together as a band. The instrument tracks were mostly recorded live in the studio to capture the feel of our live performances. Of all our albums, this one undoubtedly comes the closest to how Astral Bazaar sounds on stage,” the band explains.

Hypnosis of the 12th Degree is not a concept album in the sense that it would follow a single narrative. Instead, the songs take listeners on journeys in outer space, arid deserts, and the narrow alleys of medieval cities. What ties the album together is its exploration of surreal mental landscapes and doubts about one’s own perceptions. Whether dreaming, experiencing mirages, or falling into the depths of hypnosis, the ultimate question remains: Can imagination and reality ever truly be separated?

  6. Saharan Lament – FIBAZ2400006

Astral Bazaar is a Helsinki-based rock band known for their exotic blend of progressive and psychedelic rock, with elements of jazz and world music here and there. With a reputation for electrifying live performances with frisky jam sections, Astral Bazaar invites all listeners on a journey of cosmic musical exploration.

Finnish melancholic metal luminaries DAWN OF SOLACE are gearing up for the release of their fourth studio album, “Affliction Vortex”, set to arrive on February 14, 2025, via Noble Demon. This highly anticipated follow-up to the critically acclaimed “Flames of Perdition” (2022) promises to be the band’s most diverse and powerful offering yet. Released in CD, vinyl LP, and digital formats, the album pre-sale is available at: https://music.nobledemon.com/vortex

Following the release of the first single “Murder”, today the band has given a further insight into
their forthcoming album with the track “Fortress”. The song is accompanied by a brand new music video, which you can watch here:

Listen to the single HERE

“Fortress shows a new kind of energy and progression in DoS music,” explains mastermind Tuomas Saukkonen (WOLFHEART, BEFORE THE DAWN). “Definitely the most intensive song on the new album and first DoS song ever with a joined effort on lyrics. I teamed up with an Australian poet and his extremely powerful words were like a wind in the sails on the chorus.“

Tracklist:
1. Inception
2. Murder
3. Fortress
4. Into The Light
5. Rival
6. Invitation
7. Dream
8. Perennial
9. Mother Earth

Cover art by CJ Winterheart

Formed in 2005 as Tuomas Saukkonen‘s (WOLFHEART, BEFORE THE DAWN) creative outlet, DAWN OF SOLACE quickly established itself with their debut album, “The Darkness” (2006). Despite a hiatus due to legal complications, the band’s loyal fanbase remained unwavering, keeping the flame alive.

A triumphant return came in 2019 with the signing to Noble Demon. This partnership revitalized DAWN OF SOLACE, leading to two successful full-length albums – “Waves” (2020) and “Flames of Perdition” (2022) – alongside an unplugged EP. In early 2024, the band entered the studio, determined to craft their most versatile album yet.

“Affliction Vortex” is the culmination of this creative evolution. Recorded, mixed, and mastered by Saku Moilanen at DeepNoise Studios, the album promises to be a dark and captivating journey through the depths of Finnish melancholy.

DAWN OF SOLACE are:
Tuomas Saukkonen – Drums, guitars, bass and growling vocals
Mikko Heikkilä – Clean and growling vocals
Saku Moilanen – Keys
Jukka Salovaara – Guitar solos
