The album, set to be released on February 7, 2025 through RPM, promises to be a pivotal moment for the band.

Today, DAYS OF JUPITER released the music video for ‘Parazite,’ the last single from their upcoming album. The track showcases the band’s signature sound with revelling guitar tones and the raw, unmistakable vocals of lead singer Janne Hilli. The music is underpinned by straightforward yet powerful riffing and drumming, setting the stage for a hard-hitting exploration of toxic relationships. ‘Parazite’ not only narrates an intense personal struggle but also offers a cathartic release with its captivating chorus, resonating deeply with listeners.

Lyricist Robert Hilli comments: “Embrace yourselves for a hard-hitting and contagious song called ‘Parazite.’ It has fantastic melodies and is an incredibly catchy song with world-class vocals that explore the issues of manipulation, loyalty, betrayal and relationships, where the feeling of melancholy and abandonment is always present.”

CONQUER DIVIDE Reveal New Song ‘Bad Dreams’ Ft. Of Virtue

Posted by tarjavirmakari on January 16, 2025

Conquer Divide have just revealed their latest single, “Bad Dreams” featuring Michigan metalcore heroes Of Virtue. The single drops ahead of their U.K. and European tour dates with New Years Day from 21 January – 1 February and then with Ankor from 7 February to 16 March. You can get tickets here. Listen to “Bad Dreams” HERE.

The song combines Conquer Divide’s ability to mix luscious and captivating vocals and hooks with their crushing intensity, both musically and lyrically, on this introspective slab of inner turmoil, which is complemented by Of Virtue’s vocalists Tyler Ennis and Damon Tate’s melodic turned raging contributions.

Talking about the personal tones of the song, guitarist  Izzy Johnson says,”We are stoked to bring the next era of Conquer Divide with our new song “Bad Dreams ft Of Virtue”. Lyrically it touches on the feeling of wanting nothing more than to succeed but being sabotaged by your own thoughts. Analysis paralysis is real and creates cycles that sometimes feel unbreakable, something that we have all individually experienced. Just like our other songs Paralyzed, Pressure and N E W H E A V E N (that also have introspective themes), we hope this song is something our listeners can relate to and find comfort in. Big thanks to the guys in Of Virtue who made the song come alive, we are blessed to create music alongside such talent.”

Of Virtue’s Tyler Ennis adds, “I’ve been a fan of Conquer Divide ever since I heard Messy. It’s an absolute honor being asked to bring both our bands together on their newest single and we’re excited for it to finally be released!”

They recently had two recordings that are having wide success at the US Active Rock format. First, a new version of the band’s hit “Paralyzed” (featuring Attack Attack!); which became the band’s first entry on the Billboard charts, and re-release of alt-rockers 10 Years hit “The Optimist” which featured Conquer Divide’s Kia, ahead of the two bands touring the US together in October.

In January 2025, Conquer Divide will return to Europe and the UK for a tour with New Years Day between the 21st of January and the 1st of February. Right after, the band will appear with Ankor starting on February 7 in Cologne, and will call through Germany, The Netherlands, UK, France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Hungary, Austria, Czech Republic, Poland, Latvia, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and will finish on March 16 in Kortrijk, Belgium.

A Deluxe Edition of their most recent album ‘Slow Burn’ was released digitally on 27 September and featured an additional six recordings. Three of these are from Sirius XM Octane’s Next Wave Concert Series, which are “Bad Guy,” “Atonement,” and “Paralyzed.” Alongside “Paralyzed (Featuring “Attack Attack!),” “Only Girl” (Acoustic), and “80 Proof.”

The band hailing from the U.S., U.K. and Canada have made a steady progression from their melodic metalcore inspired roots, maturing into a formidable hard rock act, nearing the end of their first decade together. In 2020, they returned to the studio with 2x Grammy nominated producer Tyler Smyth (Falling in Reverse, I Prevail) and 4x RIAA certified gold record producer Joey Sturgis (Asking Alexandria, The Devil Wears Prada, Of Mice & Men) and began recording of SLOW BURN.

SLOW BURN picked up multiple playlisting including All New Metal, Rock Hard, The Core, Heavy Queens, Kickass Metal, New Nu and more. They picked up multiple BBC Radio 1 plays alongside playlisting at Kerrang! Radio, Kerrang! TV and Primordial Radio. “Paralyzed” was one of the Metal Hammer 2023 tracks of the year with the album also being amongst the ‘Albums of the Year.’ They’ve picked up support from Rock Sound, Distorted Sound, Alternative Press, Revolver, GuitarWorld, SXM Octane, Loudwire and more. The album has now exceeded 40 Million cumulative streams.

Conquer Divide are Kiarely Taylor (vocals), Kristen Sturgis (guitar), Izzy Johnson (guitar) and Sam Landa (drums).

KILMARA Unleash ‘Wildfire’ Video Single from Upcoming Album

January 31, 2025 will see Barcelona-based power metal act KILMARA release their hotly-anticipated, new studio album ‘Journey to the Sun’ via ROAR (Grave Digger, Mystic Prophecy, Crematory and others). Coming as CD jewel case, limited to 300 copies “Mediterranean Aura” marbled vinyl and digital streaming/download, the album pre-sale is available at this location: https://kilmara.rpm.link/jttsalbumpr

On their forthcoming magnum opus, KILMARA sound more current, more powerful and heavier than ever, thanks to an excellent and careful production. With the aim set on finding the best and most fresh sound possible, KILMARA put the recording of their new album in the hands of Carles Salse in his Sureau Studio, and also teamed up with world-renowned and award-winning producer Seeb Levermann (Orden Ogan, Angus MCSIX, Rhapsody Of Fire, Riot V). Conceptually, ‘Journey to the Sun’ is set in the Arcade halls of the late 80’s, where first loves, unbreakable friendships, rivalries, defeats and victory celebrations took place.

Today, the five-piece band has shared a new music video for their latest, epic single “Wildfire”! Listen on all digital streaming platforms at: https://kilmara.rpm.link/wildfirepr

“This song is fast-paced, unleashed as its name indicates and incorporates galloping rhythms, riffs close to hard rock and one of the best choruses on the album without a doubt,” Carles Salse (guitars & synths) comments. “A true anthem of melodic power metal that we hope will delight fans.”

Guitarist John Portillo reveals:
“We were rehearsing when we jammed playing some pure old school Power Metal, Eric has a fast and consistent double bass drum so we thought it would be great to have a great fast song. I immediately thought of some epic Halloween style openings, doubling or tripling instrumental harmonies… but I wanted to give it a more personal touch, something more unusual, so we played around with American Hard Rock a bit. The result is a wonderful punch in the face.”

“Lyric-wise, this is an homage to the party classics of the 80’s and early 90’s that we all grew up listening to,” singer Dani Ponce adds. “It’s a song about living life to the fullest and not wanting to slow down. An explosive cocktail of youth, enregy, love and danger…

After the additions of Eric Killer, a real steamroller on the drums, and guitarist, producer and composer Carles Salse, the band is renewed in every way and presents their new work ‘Journey to the Sun’, an adventure of epic proportions that transcends the limits explored up to this point by the band from Barcelona. KILMARA furthermore pick up the baton as heirs of the heroes of Power Metal and bring back the singer of the legendary and sorely missed swedish band Lost Horizon, Daniel Heiman, one of the best voices that the genre has given and who will undoubtedly overwhelm you with his performance as a special guest in “Take me Back”.

WHITECHAPEL to Release “Hymns in Dissonance” Full-Length Album on March 7th, Unleash Video / Single for Title Track

WHITECHAPEL will release their long-awaited new full-length, Hymns In Dissonance, on March 7th via Metal Blade Records.

“There is nothing nice about Hymns In Dissonance, from the riffs, to the lyrics, to the overall vibe of the album,” says guitarist Alex Wade of the band’s latest output. “We attempted to write our heaviest album to date. We wanted to put out something that was shockingly menacing and brutal.”

“The album follows the story of a cultist who is gathering worthy people to join his cult,” Wade further elaborates, “and there are moments in the storyline where the cult followers are singing an evil hymn to open a portal for the head cultist to enter.“

The band’s dynamic, brutal musicality serves as a soundtrack to the compelling lyrical story that vocalist Phil Bozeman vividly imagines. “Hymns In Dissonance is a mockery of the true nature of what hymns are,” Bozeman explains. “Hymns are melodious and harmonious. Dissonance is the opposite of melody and harmony. Dissonance represents evil. The tracks on the record are the hymns, which represent the seven deadly sins, beginning from track three to track ten. Tracks one and two are the introduction.”

The lineup’s timely and terrifying vision was first unveiled in the Fall of 2024 with the single “A Visceral Retch” inciting frenzied fans to call the song “a version of WHITECHAPEL we have never heard before. Can’t explain how absolutely goddamn brutal this song is. This is a total dream come true.” The title track is the LP’s second single.

WHITECHAPEL, who formed in Knoxville, Tennessee, in 2006, has seen the core lineup – vocalist Phil Bozeman, guitarists Ben Savage, Zach Householder, and Alex Wade, and bassist Gabe Crisp – intact since 2007, with the exception of drummer Brandon Zackey, who has been playing with the band since 2022. While Hymns In Dissonance follows 2021’s Kin chronologically, the new album is actually somewhat of a sequel to This Is Exile thematically, the three-word title Hymns In Dissonance representing that correlation.

The band started composing the new album at Householder’s studio in June of 2023, following their headlining tour for The Valley. The collective stuck to a strict weekday schedule, the structure allowing for maximum creativity and minimum burnout. Householder produced Hymns In Dissonance, which allowed the musicians to seamlessly switch gears from preproduction to recording the full album without skipping a beat. The guitarist shadowed producer Mark Lewis a lot over the last five WHITECHAPEL albums and bringing that influence inside the band is a full circle moment for Householder and WHITECHAPEL. “It’s cool that we can be self-sufficient and produce a record of this magnitude ourselves; not a lot of bands can say that.”

In advance of the release, today the band unleashes a video for the title track. Notes Bozeman, “It’s about [the storyline’s cultist] building his cult of followers: Only the most heinous and vile people on the planet showing their devotion to their lord, committing horrible acts, and the leader showcasing his power and his purpose to commit the seven cardinal sins to resurrect their lord, and to replace divinity with evil.”

Adds Wade, “Mostly written by Phil on guitar, ‘Hymns In Dissonance’ has a few riffs and tweaks thrown in by the rest of us. He can churn out some pummeling riffs and it’s one of the best songs on the album because he had a vision for the whole song with the riffs and vocals. It’s tuned to Drop G which we have been using since the self-titled LP, but the ending breakdown shifts down one whole step to Drop F, which we have never done before. Having the final breakdown shift lower than the rest of the song really helped the end have the crushing feeling it needed.”

Leading AOR force THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA present the title track of their cinematic seventh album, Give Us The Moon, out January 31, 2025 via Napalm Records! “Give Us The Moon” features a catchy singalong chorus, sure to convince fans old and new. The new single arrives with a lyric video.

Founded in 2007 by members of high-profile bands such as Soilwork, Arch Enemy and Mean Streak, over the years, THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA has garnered millions of streams, earned Swedish Grammis nominations and built a reputation for dynamic live performances internationally through touring and massive festival shows such as Wacken Open Air. The band is set to continue winning over international live audiences on their European and Scandinavian headline tours this winter and spring. Grab your tickets now, check out “Give Us The Moon” below and make sure to pre-order your copy of the new album!

THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA comments:
“‘Give Us The Moon’ is the title track and guiding star that slides across the dance floor and into the night. It also speaks of our human need and longing to be somewhere else, and our notion that there must be something more out there – something grander, something more gratifying and mysterious.”

Give Us The Moon takes the listener on an exciting sonic journey, balancing between uplifting escapism and captivating stories inspired by real life events. The album’s themes span the likes of heroines and temptresses to liberation and romantic nostalgia, set to backdrops of abandoned cities and cosmic tides.

The intro track “Final Call” sets the scene for Give Us The Moon before impressive opening track “Stratus” is followed by the beautifully nostalgic “Shooting Velvet”. The intro of “Like The Beating Of A Heart” captures the listener from its first notes, leading into an irresistibly catchy chorus. Massive “Melbourne, May I?” is a classic THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA anthem, featuring captivating solos that are equally prominent on following track “Miraculous”. THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA slows it down for the emotional “Paloma”, before again diving into different soundscapes on the exciting, uplifting “Cosmic Tide”. The band continues their trademark of name-dropping streets and cities on “A Paris Point Of View”, that features fascinating instrumentation including particularly 80s-inspired keys and groovy bass. Sentimental “Runaways” feels like a part of a movie, only partially because of the attention-grabbing intro track before the first notes. THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA gets the tempo up once more for “Way To Spend The Night” before epic closing track “Stewardess, Empress, Hot Mess (And The Captain Of Pain)” wraps up THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA’s most cinematic masterpiece so far.

Give Us The Moon is free from the limitations of one genre or style, although many of the soundscapes of the album draw inspiration from the 80s, making the album a varied, exciting adventure. Give Us The Moon is produced by THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA and Sebastian Forslund, who also mixed the album, and is mastered by Plec Johansson at award-winning The Panic Room Studios. To celebrate the release of the new full-length, THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA will embark on a full European tour in late January 2025. Boarding is completed – fasten your seatbelts and enjoy the flight!

THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA about their new album:
“We have never worked harder on an album before and what a journey it’s been. We feel that this album has it all and there’s no way we could have done any better. It’s an explosion of emotions and cinematic landscapes where you’ll be catapulted into space and then land smoothly while feeling right at home. It will be your haven and your grand escape all at once. We hope you will connect to this album with every fiber of your body and mind, just like we do. Please do enjoy Give Us The Moon!”

Prepare for the rise of darkness – BLACK & DAMNED are ready to set the metal community ablaze!

With their unique blend of epic power metal and dark, atmospheric sounds, the South German formation is gearing up for their much-awaited, third studio album, entitled “Resurrection”, which is set to be released on March 14, 2025 via ROAR (Grave Digger, Mystic Prophecy, Crematory and others). The album pre-sale is available at this location: https://blackanddamned.rpm.link/resurrection

“Resurrection” sees the band captivate with thunderous guitar riffs, intense rhythms and gripping vocals that whisk you away into a world full of myths and inner conflicts. Their music is a storm of power and emotion, perfect for anyone who wants to experience the ultimate metal rush!

But give ear, today, BLACK & DAMNED are premiering a music video for a second album single, the stomping heavy metal anthem “Bound By The Moon”! Frontman Roland “Bobbes” Seidel says:

“Bad dreams don’t let me sleep. Hunted by demons until the morning. My life is stuck in chaos. Even when I wake up, the fear of life remains. Bound to the moon by day and by night.”

“Bound By The Moon” is now streaming on all digital services at: https://blackanddamned.rpm.link/boundpr

In the four years since their much-acclaimed debut, BLACK & DAMNED have made a first-class name for themselves, sharing the stage with Vicious Rumors, Rage and Tankard, among others, and earning great reviews in the local magazines. “Black & Damned manage the balancing act between heaven and hell with flying colors”, attests Metal Hammer, while Breakout Magazine indulges: ”best stuff for all
power metallers with heart.”

It is now clear that the band from the Stuttgart area can be described as a real enrichment of the heavy metal world and so they took no prisoners, used the energy of past live shows and composed ten new neckbreakers, which they recorded in the fall of 2024 under the aegis of ex-Primal Fear guitarist Stefan Leibing. Once again, this gripping melancholy hovers over the entire work, which is incredibly captivating and addictive. BLACK & DAMNED have grown together as a unit and with “Resurrection” the band created a profound, melodic and melancholic heavy metal album with lasting anthems! Pre-order the album now at: https://blackanddamned.rpm.link/resurrection

“Resurrection” track listing:

  1. Silence Breaker
  2. Ruthless Wrath
