Greek symphonic/gothic black metal discovery END OF DAWN signed a deal with Wormholedeath for their debut album, Primordial Darkness, which is due for release on 15 November 2024.

“We are thrilled to announce the release of our debut album with WormholeDeath Records.” stated the band “This album embodies our creative vision, delving into the myriad facets of eternal darkness and its relentless struggle against the forces of light. Their debut album delves into the human soul’s journey through the intricate paths of darkness. It portrays the loss of innocence as the soul traverses a series of symbolic gates, each revealing deeper layers of torment. Drawing on mythological, biblical, and existential themes, the album illustrates the eternal battle between light and darkness and the ultimate quest for redemption in a world engulfed in despair. NERV Announce Spring 2025 Dates Supporting CITIZEN SOLDIER

Sacramento-based active rock band NERV is set to hit the road in spring 2025, joining Citizen Soldier on the Semicolon Tour 2025. The tour will also feature special guests 10 Years and Thousand Below.

“So stoked to share the stage with a band that has such a positive message,” says the band’s vocalist Dillon Jones.

Their new single, “WASTED!”, is out now via SBG Records. Following up on their debut, this track continues to showcase Nerv’s powerful sound, blending dynamic guitar riffs and raw, emotive vocals.

Nerv, is a 4-piece active rock band residing in Sacramento California. The band consists of vocalist Dillon Jones, guitarists Jordan Grokett, Scott Buchanan, and drummer Tyler Clark.

SEVEN KINGDOMS Release Melodic Power Anthem ‘Wilted Pieces’ from New EP

Florida’s SEVEN KINGDOMS are celebrating the release of their highly anticipated EP The Square with a video for “Wilted Pieces”. The song is a melodic anthem similar in style to classic 80s songs by bands such as STARSHIP, JOURNEY, DEF LEPPARD and BON JOVI.

The band comments: “This is a slower melodic anthem singalong style song that has a lot of 80’s influence. We wanted to make a song that would translate on a very big PA while bringing a somewhat Hair Metal / 80s vibe with some synth sounds and influences. The music video was one of our favorites of this EP and was really fun to film. We think the song sounds and looks great! We hope that you love it as much as we do!”

The Square is out now on all streaming services. The EP is also available on both vinyl and CD formats. All physical copies are limited edition and signed by the band.

In addition to the EP’s release, SEVEN KINGDOMS embarked on an extensive touring schedule. The band will kick off with a North American headlining tour in November and December, joined by STRIKER, LUTHARO, and OSYRON for select dates. Following that, they will support power metal legends UNLEASH THE ARCHERS on a European tour in February and March 2025.

Solo Multi-Instrumentalist CUS Releases Debut Single + Video ‘Cut Up’

Introducing to the world the brand new solo multi-instrumentalist CUS, who has released his debut single ‘Cut Up’.

This ambitious project has been in the works for years. Maltese musician Marcus Ganado began studying, working, and saving to actualize his vision for this project in 2018. At 18 years old he decided to pursue a business degree and work at the same time to get the money he needed to move to Berlin, where he could record his album and plan the project’s launch. After making the move in 2021, he worked a full time job during the day and went to many different rehearsals each night, saving his money and gathering the experience and connections he needed to really manifest his vision.

After two years of playing shows and honing his skills on various instruments, he set out to finish writing 13 songs by the end of 2023. On these songs every instrumental and vocal performance is his own.

Writing became a coping mechanism for CUS and he believed that for it to be truly honest, the music had to be entirely his own. He spent the entire year tracking demos and ideas in his room or on his phone, and eventually settled on a final set of songs that were mostly complete, but still leaving room for new additions in the recording process.

‘Cut Up’ is CUS’ introduction to the world. Produced by Sasha Bowers, the track features a frenzy of a guitar solo from the guitarist Kabir Bhattacharya. “Kabir and I have lived together in Berlin for the majority of this project’s progress, he was instrumental in its manifestation, whether through support as a friend or his musical expertise, he contributed a lot to this process”.

Marcus also credits his brother for having an astronomical impact on his music: “My brother actually got me into many of my favourite artists, he basically put me behind a drum kit. Throughout the infancy of my project, he was always there to listen to my demos, give me tips, encourage me, and support me. I could have never done any of this without him in my life”. Lastly he attributes the music’s excellent production to his engineer Sasha Bowers: “Sasha made a huge impact in the actualization of all of this music. His expertise produced an incredible result in the final recordings. Additionally he was always there to support me in enhancing different parts of the record, across every instrument. At times even contributing creatively here and there”.

The video for ‘Cut Up’ was shot by “Strangeworks”. Artist Alina Salmann and photographer Dai Nguyen were the creative minds behind lots of the visual aspects of his project. Alina designed the cover and merchandise for ‘Cut Up’, and Dai shot and edited the behind the scenes video along with a multitude of photo shoots.

Born 8th November, CUS has plans to make a lot of noise over the coming months. Keep an eye out for this artist.
