Innovative musical mavericks Unprocessed have released their most diverse single to date, a three-part concept song, ‘Dark, Silent and Complete’. The single comes ahead of their EU/UK headline tour, with many dates sold out or on low ticket warnings.

David Levy (bass & cello) commented on the single: “’Dark, Silent and Complete’ is a 3-part concept song that revolves around the idea of finding peace in solitude and utter darkness. An inner monologue that leads one towards a nihilistic state of mind, in which no outside factors can influence oneself. 

“In the first part (dark) sheer chaos and anger pump through blast beats and fast, progressive riffing, until the silence arrives and moody synths are disrupted by organic orchestral sounds, opening up a soundscape reminiscent of Radiohead or massive attack, building up to the third part (complete), where the whole band comes in for an excessive outburst of emotions.”

Guitarist / vocalist Manuel Gardner-Fernandes has also unveiled his stunning new signature model guitar, the Ibanez MGFM10-OBL. Unprocessed’s beautifully melodic, technically proficient and at times brutally heavy sound has catapulted them to the forefront of the modern metal scene, having toured as main support to TesseracT across Europe, Polyphia in the USA and sold out countless shows on their first North American headline tour in 2024.

Their latest album ‘…and everything in between’ has been described by publications such as Kerrang! as “An album so forward-thinking that it’s a huge breath of fresh air in the world of metal” KKKK. This is driven in part by their virtuoso guitarist and vocalist Manuel Gardner Fernandes, whose talent for turning the most complex technique into ultra-modern melodies has made him a world renowned flag-bearer for the next generation of bands in the genre.

The German quartet represents a new evolution of futuristic guitar driven metal. 2024 will see the band take on Europe for their first headline tour with a plethora of new music and collaborations to come.
