Wait Until the Dark is about this roller coaster of life. Ups and downs, black and white, hate and love. One must realise that even in the darkest times there is also a learning curve. Possibility to learn something from it and come back stronger afterwards. So, let`s embraze the dark and welcome it as a part of our existence rather than fear it.
“Wait Until the Dark song is for those who can find tranquillity from darkness rather than light.”
Composition. Jukka Piironen, Jami Heikkala, Marco Sneck, Jukka Mursu
Lyrics. Jukka Mursu
The story of Serpent Fire began in 2022 when Jukka Piironen started after a long hiatus making new music again. He allready knew Jukka Mursu (Gorem, Vinnfrost, Nex Locus) and together they started studio project. Soon they had songs coming very rapidly and decided to record an EP with other players. Along came guitarist J.K Hel (ex- Man Eating Tree, Corpset), keyboard player Marco Sneck (Poisonblack, Chamelion) and Pete Karjalainen (Gorem) on the drums.
The result is melodic death metal in it`s most melodic and agressive form and you can hear the coldness and melancholy of Northern Finland in every note! Main songwriters Jukka Piironen and Jami Heikkala has allready sharpened their writing pen again and new songs are on their way.

Australian masters of progressive metallers TERAMAZE have released their brand new official video ‘Battle’ (Acoustic Version).
The band shared: We approached this song a little differently then the other acoustic renditions on the album. With the vocal melodies so catchy and uplifting we decided to give it the treatment it deserved. With a hint of 90s pop and rock we gave it another life of its own! We were so happy with the arrangement we were almost gonna call it a different name! It’s one of our new favourites, so please sit back, light a candle and enjoy.

Berlin-based symphonic death metal band Carved Memories has dropped the music video for “Raven,” the second single off their debut full-length, The Moirai, set for release on November 01st on CD and digital via Black Lion Records. The album features orchestration crafted by Clemens “Ardek” Wijers from Carach Angren.
According to Carved Memories, the track “Raven” is “a description of death, the grim reaper, in its all-powerful manifestation as a Raven. Drawing inspiration from the ‘Ravens of Odin’ and their roles in Norse mythology, the song pairs this with the inevitability of death and the personification of an entity who reigns as the sovereign of death—and, by extension, of life.”
