Before finally releasing their debut album, NORDIC GOTHIC, on October 11th, CEMETERY SKYLINE are inviting you to hear BEHIND THE LIE.

The video for their new single was directed by the band’s very own drummer, Vesa Ranta, and Petri Marttinen. Vesa (drums) comments his work: “As the band’s drummer and professional video director you are wearing two hats and it’s always a challenge. However, I found the challenge meaningful, so I definitely wanted to make a video for our band. I love old horror and crime movie classics and wanted to bring the same kind of visual narrative and atmosphere to the ‘Behind the Lie’ video: Hitchcock goes goth, spiced up with 80’s and 90’s aesthetics. Working on the video was a great project. I truly feel that together with my partner Petri Marttinen we achieved the gloomy atmosphere we were looking for. ‘Behind the Lie’ is one of my absolute favourites on the album, it fully grabs my attention and hits hard. The mood of the song just sucks you in. It is the perfect song for the autumn that is about to start.”

LOVE IS NOISE have announced details of their debut album, TO LIVE IN A DIFFERENT WAY , set for release on February 14th, 2025. With influence from Portishead, Radiohead, My Bloody Valentine, Oasis, Bowery Electric, Boards of Canada and Deftones, the band set about to create a record that makes you feel every emotion possible. 

Speaking of the album, vocalist Cam Humphrey says: “TO LIVE IN A DIFFERENT WAY is the story of a kid from Bolton trying to understand the world he lives in. It’s 10 tracks full of love, heartache and dream-soaked melody, I believe we’ve created something special.”

SAHG Release New Video Single ‘More of Nothing’

Taken off the recording sessions of their latest, much-acclaimed studio album Born Demon (released in October 2022 via Drakkar Entertainment HERE!), Norwegian trve heavy metal trio SAHG has shared a music video for their new single “More of Nothing”! The clip is now streaming below, while SAHG frontman Olav Iversen tells us:

«We have worked onward as the ’Toxic Trio’ since our latest album Born Demon, and passed even new limits for what this three-piece can achieve. These songs are a result of exploring what the new trio format can do. We just had some fun with it, and fooled around with a lot of different things. Surprisingly, it turned out sounding very consistent. As proven throughout this band’s history, we are not afraid to try new things and just let it out there. On the other hand, some might say we are the most traditional metal band around! (laughs) So, I guess everyone will just have to give it a listen and make up their own minds about it.»

Entering the Norwegian metal scene in 2006 as a classic doom band, wasn’t necessarily a recipe for success. Black metal was still the big thing coming from Norway, and there wasn’t much space for bands from other subgenres. Even with Gorgoroth members King ov Hell and Kvitrafn in the line-up, adding a touch of blackness, it wasn’t very likely that Sahg would get an instant break-through. But, the band took the heavy music scene by storm with their blistering, chart-breaking debut Sahg I.

Throughout the following years, Sahg released six critically acclaimed albums, and played several tours and festivals across Europe, the United States and Asia to date. They have toured as support act for bands like Motörhead, W.A.S.P., Opeth, Clutch, Satyricon, Dimmu Borgir and Enslaved to name just a few, and appeared at prestigous festivals such as Wacken Open Air, Summer Breeze, Sweden Rock Festival, Hard Rock Hell, Tons of Rock, Inferno Festival and Beyond the Gates among many more. To this day, Sahg has always stayed trve to their doom and heavy metal roots, and still holds the throne as Norway’s high guardians of doomed heavy metal. They are the bastard sons of Black Sabbath, Motörhead, Pentagram and Judas Priest. Classic heavy metal for the new age, with a desire for the occult, aversion for religion, and a gloomy gaze into the inevitable apocalypse, all served with a cold bite of Norwegian Blackness. With the ruthless force of a classic power trio, Sahg is part of a renaissance that will bring vintage doom and classic heavy metal back to the masses. Dutch/Slovakian downtempo/deathcore ensemble DISTANT like to be busy and kept writing music despite their busy touring schedule and playing 117 shows in 2023 alone as well as tours with Suffocation and Born Of Osiris aside from headlining shows and playing festivals in 2024.

In honor of their 10-year anniversary as a band DISTANT are thrilled to present TSUKUYOMI: THE ORIGIN, an expanded and revitalized version of their debut EP, TSUKUYOMI. This release features seven brand new tracks alongside six revamped versions of songs, weaving a comprehensive tale that predates Tyrannt’s conquest through the universe. TSUKUYOMI: THE ORIGIN not only delves into DISTANT‘s origins but also explores the lore behind their lyrics. It isn’t a standard remaster or simple rerecording, but the band overhauled the original songs to reflect their current sound and vision, ensuring the tracks get the attention they deserve. Expect new features (Matthew K Heafy, Alex Erian of Despised Icon, David Simonich of Signs Of The Swarm and Travis Worland of Enterprise Earth) and a seamless blend of fresh and re-recorded tracks.
