BAEST Release ‘Imp of the Perverse’ Single, Incl. Recap Video from Massive Shows in Denmark

BAEST are sharing an ominous vision about their new song, “Imp of the Perverse”: “Our second single shows the dark sides of the human soul. It combines the heavy grooves with catchy rock melodies which forces the listener to both bang and boogie. It’s unreason, it’s chaos, it’s the ‘Imp of the Perverse’.”

The video was and edited / directed by Jakob Printzlau and filmed by Theis Mortensen and Martin Hagge during two very special shows headlining shows in Aarhus and Copenhagen that the band played in March of 2024:

Looking back the band is still buzzing about seeing so many smiling faces who came to party with them: “We broke the record for the largest sold-out headlining shows any Danish death metal band has ever played. In November BAEST are set to embark on their “Beast Against Beast” European co-headline tour together with Benighted. Special guests will be Coffin Feeder. BAEST state: “In the fall of 2024 we will return to the European roads wreaking havoc with a colossus of a co-headline tour: We will bring the BAESTfactor as you know it with an energetic heavy metal show with both oldies, goldies and maybe some fresh tunes. RAINSWEPT Announce Debut Album “No Threats Allowed”, Out July 1st

Rome hardcore unit RAINSWEPT have announced the upcoming release of their first full-length album, “No Threats Allowed”, on July 1st 2024 via Time To Kill Records.

The album covers a lot of territory throughout its succinct rampage. Not only does RAINSWEPT deliver the expected classic hardcore sound, the influence from more contemporary styles, along with some metal vibes, pushes its way to the forefront, culminating in the band’s most vicious material yet.

“No Threats Allowed” blends various musical tastes from classic NYHC to edgier notes of 90s metal, featuring fast riffs, two-step parts, and breakdowns. Conceptually, it serves as a declaration of intent, a manifesto. Years of sick and toxic social dynamics, both in personal life and even within the music scene, have led the band to feel the need to create a safe space, where the foundation lies in self-reflection and interaction with others. Only by respecting each individual’s mental well-being can there be collective improvement.

RAINSWEPT is a hardcore band, established in Rome, from an idea of the drummer Luigi (Coloss/Strength Approach/First Blood/Blvd of Death) who started writing songs in early 2022. Sided by bass player Ale (ex Strength Approach) they began to write arrangements. The duo then recruited Andrea (Second by Default/Murder Spree) on vocals. Eventually, after some changes on guitar, Daniele (Maiali) and Valentino completed the line-up, giving their contribution to the songwriting. 
About six months later the band recorded “Demo 2022” at Till Deaf Recording Studio and then proceeded to film a videoclip for their first single “Tide Mind”, all under the wing of Time To Kill Records. In the following months, they began to play gigs and fests sharing the stage with bands like Slug Gore, Fulci, Drain, Last Wishes, 3ND7R and Internal Bleeding.
After a tour in Germany and Belgium, RAINSWEPT started focusing on the production of their first full-length album.

EXUMER finally return to Europe in the summer for the “Scorching Europe 2024” tour together with comrades HIRAX! See below for full dates!

EXUMER‘s latest album ‘Hostile Defiance‘ was released in 2019 and hit the German album charts on position 42 which marks the highest chart entry in the history of the band! EXUMER is hard at work on a new album for a possible release in late 2024 / early 2025!

Additionally, EXUMER annoucnces the addition of new bassist Alex Voss to their ranks. Singer Mem von Stein states: “We are happy to announce and welcome bassist, Alex Voss, as a permanent member of EXUMER. Alex helped us out during our last full European tour in 2019, and then again in 2023, filling in on bass duties when our former bass player was not able to attend. Since then, Alex has been a great friend and musician who will also be playing bass on our upcoming album and all live dates in the future.”

HARPYIE release “Voodoo” feat. Benji Webbe / SKINDRED, the third single and title track from the upcoming studio album “Voodoo” which will be released on 25th October on Metalville Records.

Harpyie celebrate a macabre, dark ritual together with Benji Webbe from Skindred and resurrect Papa Legba, a spirit or saint in voodoo: As a seducer of the dark side, the “Keeper of the Crossroads” enchants with South American sounds and a nu metal flavour. As in the songs on the album, life affirmation and artistic outcry come together in the style of voodoo, where roses and skulls exist side by side.

Harpyie – the continuously up-and-coming folk metal band from East Westphalia has played its way into the hearts of the German metal community with its authenticity and consistently individual approach. Whether at the Wacken Open Air or the Summerbreeze, the five rebels from Bad Oeynhausen have thrilled the young and genre-breaking target group as well as the traditional metal fans. DVRK know no limits. What started as a one-man project back in 2019 has evolved into a full-scale assault on the senses. The band recently wrapped up a run of dates supporting Emmure in Japan and has collaborated with Conquer Divide, Cove Reber, Chunk No Captain Chunk and Hyro The Hero.

Their upcoming EP was recorded at Nalcon Studio, where it was shaped by the masterful ear of Matt Thomas (Ashtone Audio). On Infinite Reminisces, Peter Morgan (vocals), Bastien Deleule (guitar), Gerald Audiard (guitar), Fabien Letren (bass), and Vincent Vidal (drums) blend together several subgenres while hitting on themes of addiction, depression and loss.

“Breathless” tells the morbid story of a killer. It’s a chilling exploration into the darkest corners of our psyche, set against DVRK’s cutting-edge fusion of heavy riffs and intricate storytelling that’s bound to set their mark on today’s deathcore scene.
