HOLLER have released a video for “Yulia”, third single taken from the debut album “Reborn” to be released on March 22nd by Scarlet Records.
video by High Sky Record
Brooklyn-born singer and songwriter Terence Holler went solo in 2022, leaving the band he co-founded 31 years ago: international acclaimed prog metal titans Eldritch.
Growing up with a steady diet of Billy Joel, Elton John, Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Monkees, Bay City Rollers, Journey, Boston, Toto, Bruce Springsteen, Kiss and Bon Jovi, these are the main influences he brought in his new project simply called Holler.
When a man loves a woman, and when the woman loves him too… but they can’t be together: a story you have already heard, but you have never heard this one yet.
Holler sings about the greatest love of his life (music? Or that special lady?), through thirteen emotional, refined and cool FM rock songs. A roller-coaster of feelings and moods that are sometimes contradictory but always damn engaging!

‘Reborn’ will be released in the following formats:
“I am power and morning dew, I am salt dissolved in the sea, the celestial shrine is my soul, the temple that overcame both decay and the sick.” (‘Celestial Shrine’)
Three weeks prior to the much-anticipated release of their debut album, “Celestial Shrine“, Ukrainian collective WAIDELOTTE reveals a second taster. The album’s title track is a stunning fusion of folk-inspired, progressive guitar elements, vocals that oscillate between tranquility and ferocity, and vigorous drumming. ‘Celestial Shrine‘ truly epitomizes the album’s overarching atmosphere, perfectly encapsulating its core spirit.
Composer Zlat recounts the song’s origins:
“Everything started with a folk intro melody which afterward was played on tsymbaly. Usually, I compose in a kind of expressionist way, so everything after the intro is a flow, a natural feeling of what should be played next. It’s like storytelling, not a bunch of riffs in a logical way. The song includes polyrhythmic verses which are followed by a simple catchy chorus with an expressive guitar solo, a melodic bandura drop but also an aggressive metal blast piece – it’s a many-sided outspread composition that shows our protagonist’s perfection.“
Vocalist Andrii contributes insights regarding the lyrical aspects:
“This song describes the final culmination of the album. It shows the lyrical hero at the highest point of his journey, encountering his omnipotence. The ability to harness the endless power was always hidden in the depths of his personality. However, it took a long journey to reveal the hidden treasures. Just like the lyrical hero, we have different hidden talents that require patience and practice to be revealed.“
Due for release March 29th via Debemur Morti Productions, WAIDELOTTE‘s debut album “Celestial Shrine” will be available on CD, vinyl and digital formats. The launch is accompanied by a specially designed t-shirt, with pre-orders available through our EU, US (no merch) and Bandcamp shops.
WAIDELOTTE is a new Extreme Metal act from Ukraine which skilfully combines Black Metal, melodic Death Metal and Progressive Metal with traditional Folk singing and instrumentation. The project gathers individuals with diverse musical backgrounds, including members of SOEN, WHITE WARD, NAONI ORCHESTRA, Тінь Сонця, SOLAR KOLLAPSE, and CASA URAINA amongst others.
The band’s debut album will be released via Debemur Morti Productions in 2024.

Southern California’s DAYSEEKER — Rory Rodriguez [vocals], Gino Sgambelluri [guitar], Ramone Valerio [bass], and Zac Mayfield [drums] — recently announced their forthcoming acoustic album Replica, which arrives digitally on April 19 and physically on June 14 via Spinefarm. Pre-save it here.
The stripped down, intimate renditions of familiar fan favorites highlight the band’s songcraft and allow the listener to experience Dayseeker in an entirely new way. The collection also includes appearances from Holding Absence’s Lucas Woodland and indie artist Amber DeLaRosa.
Today, the band has shared the video for their unexpected and enchanting cover of “My Immortal” by Evanescence. Watch it here.
“‘My Immortal’ is a song I’ve loved dearly since I first heard it in high school,” says Rodriguez. “I truly always wanted to cover it but the timing didn’t feel right until we started this album. It’s easily my favorite cover we’ve ever done.”
Commenting on the album itself, Rodriguez says, “Replica is one of our favorite releases to date. It completely shows a new side to our band and the kind of music we’re capable of creating.”
Replica is the somewhat unexpected (yet welcomed) result of a specific gig in 2022, when the band’s gear overheated at Blue Ridge Rock Festival. Thinking on his feet, Rodriguez grabbed an acoustic guitar from the van, plugged in, and performed “Without Me.” Soon, he had pulled together a five-song set on the fly as thousands of fans flocked to the stage.
“I felt like we let people down, but I had so many friends say, ‘Everyone will remember the day your equipment stopped working and you still played the set as a really special moment’,'” he recalls. “It felt natural for our songs. We usually will do extra tracks for a Deluxe version or re-release, but we decided to commit to an entire acoustic album this time.”
Dayseeker will also embark on a headline tour this spring. The tour kicks off April 19 in Tampa and runs through May 25 in San Diego. All dates are below, including spring festival appearances, such as Rockfest, Earthday Birthday, and more. Polaris, Rain City Drive, Avoid, and Ayron Jones are set to appear at select dates. MARTY FRIEDMAN`s presence in the world of music, the world of guitar, and Japanese pop culture is mystifying, bizarre, and nothing short of inspiring.
From his groundbreaking beginnings with Cacophony, alongside the legendary Jason Becker, to his pivotal role in propelling Megadeth to its peak of popularity with his breath-taking range and unorthodox melodic sense, MARTY has solidified his status as a unique guitar icon.
Today, MARTY proudly announces his latest solo album, ‘Drama‘ where he only slightly revisits the atmospheric elements of his acclaimed 1992 release ‘Scenes,’ elevating them to a modern and exotic collection of epic extravagant and unapologetically emotional mini-symphonies.
Tracks like “Illumination” and “Mirage” transport listeners to captivating realms, evoking sudden tears and chills. The entire album spotlights MARTY‘s mesmerizing melodies, game changing arrangements, and heart tugging motifs, even more than any of his previous work.
Recorded in Italy, where MARTY had access to a treasure trove of vintage guitars along with his modern signature models, ‘Drama‘ is a pure delight for anyone who appreciates music that stirs emotions.
Since moving to Japan in 2003, MARTY FRIEDMAN has become a household name even beyond the world of music. Fluent in Japanese, he has appeared on over 900 Japanese TV shows of every variety, as well as motion pictures and commercials including an ad campaign for Coca-Cola/ FANTA that ran for over two years. He was recently appointed an Ambassador of Japan Heritage by the Japanese government who also commissioned him to compose the “Japan Heritage Theme Song“, recorded by MARTY and the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra and is played at official government-related events. He has played the Opening Ceremony at the Tokyo Marathon 5 times, most recently in March 2024. Three books on MARTY`s life have been released in Japan and a brand-new full autobiography will be released worldwide later this year.
In addition to his legendary work with Cacophony and Megadeth, MARTY has released fifteen solo albums starting in 1988 with ‘Dragon’s Kiss‘, and has had multi-platinum, platinum, and gold album sales awards in twenty-seven countries, achieving seven Grammy nominations to date. In recent years, FRIEDMAN has put out the distinguished, ongoing Tokyo Jukebox line, which, as the title suggests, is a series of albums featuring covers of Japanese songs starting with ‘Tokyo Jukebox‘ in 2009, ‘Tokyo Jukebox 2‘ in 2011, and most recently, ‘Tokyo Jukebox 3‘ in 2020. This series has become a go-to set for people all around the world who are fast becoming fascinated with Japan and its music.
MARTY has played the Tokyo Dome, Budokan, and every major Japanese venue multiple times. He has toured Japan countless times with his solo music as well as alongside many legendary Japanese stars. Since the release of ‘Tokyo Jukebox 3‘ in 2020, MARTY has toured Japan twice, performed as soloist with three major symphony orchestras, and made several TV appearances, most recently performing with Yoshiki of X Japan.
Since the pandemic, Marty and his band have toured the U.S. twice and are planning to tour extensively for ‘Drama’.
