NOVOMUNDO Release New Single + Video ‘Bokor’ from Upcoming Album

After teasing their debut for the past few weeks, Roman band NOVOMUNDO are ready to unveil their first full-length album, “The Cursed Cult”, set for release on March 1st, 2026. The band has already offered glimpses of their sonic vision through previous singles and content, building strong anticipation for the upcoming record and showcasing the clear artistic direction of their project.

Today, NOVOMUNDO reveal their new single, “Bokor”, accompanied by the official video. The track is marked by a tense, restless energy and a richly detailed soundscape: tight, aggressive riffs intertwine with powerful grooves and dark, immersive atmospheres, while tribal-inspired percussion and haunting melodic lines emerge with striking clarity. “Bokor” highlights the band’s ability to merge extreme and melodic elements, alternating between moments of raw intensity and more reflective, atmospheric passages without ever losing force or cohesion.

With this latest single, NOVOMUNDO continue to establish their distinct style, giving fans a further taste of the debut album while demonstrating their compositional maturity and meticulous attention to sonic detail. The release of “Bokor” marks another significant step in the band’s journey, uniting aggression, complexity, and emotional impact into a single, powerful musical statement.

The band commented:

“We are proud to present the fourth and penultimate single from our upcoming album, ‘The Cursed Cult’.
The track, titled ‘Bokor’, stands among the rawest and most ferocious songs on the record. True to our trademark approach, we alternate almost mystical, ritual-like instrumental passages with crushing breakdowns and riffs, all driven by relentless groove and power.
The song revolves around the figure of the Bokor, a Voodoo sorcerer who awakens the dead from their eternal sleep to bend them to his dark will.
However, the key to understanding this track – like all the lyrics on the album – lies elsewhere: always look at the other side of the coin, the hidden layer, the truth we believe we know… which often isn’t the truth at all”.

NOVOMUNDO was born near Rome around 2012 with the idea to blend heavy and groovy music textures alongside various influences, rhythms, and instruments from all over the world. After some line-up changes over the years, the band rewrote and refined some of their previous material, releasing “Echoes of Ego”: four songs focused on mid-paced ferocity and exotic grooves, with themes exploring modern world decay, primeval instincts, and nightmarish visions.

“The Cursed Cult” represents the band’s first full-length effort: a darker and more crushing take on their renewed sound. The album explores Voodoo culture, its symbols and meanings, interpreted through the lens of contemporary life. Fourteen tracks of ferocity and raw energy blend dark ambient passages with a rotten edge, fusing death-groove and 2000s metal influences enriched by modern tones and crust-core elements.

The album is a concept piece centered on Voodoo — its mysteries, rituals, and symbolic icons. Lyrically, it touches on slavery, prejudice, and death as a way to give value to life, among other themes. Across the tracks, listeners are guided through the pantheon of Voodoo deities, called Loa, exploring their stories and traits as metaphors to convey the album’s core messages. The soundscape of NOVOMUNDO evokes emotional instability and a sense of unease, symbolizing the fear stemming from ignorance and unfamiliarity.

EARTHSIDE Reveal Official Video for ‘Earthsink’

Cinematic rock visionaries Earthside present the official video for “earthsink” featuring Daedric. The clip supports the recent release of Let The Truth Speak – Deluxe Edition, marking two years since the band’s triumphant return. The new recording is an explosive collaboration with U.S. experimental metal artist Daedric, and rises with celestial beauty before crashing down with Earthside’s trademark, world-shaking intensity. The official video edited by Riivata Visuals can be viewed HERE.

Keyboardist Frank Sacramone reflects on the milestone: “Let The Truth Speak challenged everything—our writing, our production, our entire creative identity. It defined what ‘cinematic rock’ truly means for us. Now, we’re forging a future that can sustain our grandest visions.”

‘earthsink’ was born when Daedric shared a reel of an original vocal idea over the band’s song Watching the Earth Sink. Earthside were so struck by it that they invited her onstage during their U.S. tour—one of only two times a guest vocalist has performed with them. Inspired, guitarist Jamie van Dyck rebuilt the track around her soaring vocal motif, ultimately flying to Texas to complete the collaboration in person.

Talking about the song, Jamie says, “Kristyn creates worlds. Working with her expanded the mythos and depth of the piece. We hope this won’t be our last collaboration.”

Kristyn Hope from Daedric adds; “When I first heard ‘Let the Truth Speak’ I was blown away by the cinematic impact of the sound paired with each vocalist’s unique quality. I noticed that “Watching the Earth Sink” was purely instrumental so I thought it would be cool to add a short vocal duet over the middle section. When Earthside decided to create an entirely new version to include me on the deluxe release of the album, I was deeply honored. It was quite daunting to approach the full track as I consider their work highly technical, but working with Jamie proved to be rewarding as we finalized the vocals together.”

The anniversary follows a breakthrough year that included their first North American headline tour and the powerful single ‘frozen heart ~ burning world’ building on their enthralling 2024 performances on tour with Soen and Leprous.

Since its release, Let The Truth Speak has delivered a series of standout singles, including the haunting “We Who Lament,” and the award-winning video for All We Knew And Ever Loved featuring Baard Kolstad (Leprous), which earned Best Music Video at the United Artist International Film Festival and screened at festivals worldwide.

The album also included the songs We Who Lament featuring Canadian vocals Keturah, Let The Truth Speak with Daniel Tompkins and Gennady Tkachenko-Papizh and Pattern of Rebirth saw a collaboration with AJ Channer (Fire From The Gods). Cumulative streams now exceed 5 million plays.

A decade after their seismic debut A Dream in Static, Earthside continue to push themselves to the brink.  “This album nearly tore our lives apart,” Sacramone admits. “It’s madness—but it’s beautiful.”  Jamie adds: “If our debut was about the individual, Let The Truth Speak is about humanity. The world changed, and so did we.”

With new live shows on the horizon, Earthside are continuing to build on their cinematic, world-building sound.

Earthside live shows 2026:
3/04-9 Miami, FL – Cruise To The Edge
3/14 Santiago, Chile – CL Prog Fest
6/05-6 Tampere, Finland – Ankea Festival

Forged in the aftermath of relentless movement and creative unrest, London’s Final Dose returns with Endless Woe, an EP of vicious, and unrelenting hostile blackened punk violence.

Endless Woe follows up the debauchery of Under the Eternal Shadow, with five tracks that strip their blackened punk assault to its rawest core, distilling the band’s ethos into a harsher, more confrontational form. Short, vicious, and devoid of excess, Endless Woe sharpens aggression into purpose, pushing ferality and despair to the forefront.

Yet beneath the surface violence, Endless Woe carries a suffocating emotional weight. Subtle melodic fractures, desolate pacing shifts, and moments of stark bleakness inject a sense of hopeless repetition, mirroring the EP’s title in both sound and spirit; no catharsis, no escape, only the grinding continuation of inner collapse and inner turmoil

To be released by Wolves of Hades on January 28 on LP and MC, Endless Woe stands as a concentrated statement of fury and misery.

Female fronted Chicago rockers, Ignescent, are excited to team up with Clint Lowery, guitarist and backing vocalist of acclaimed rock band Sevendust, for their new single “Chariot Of Fire”, taken from the upcoming new album, “Eternal”, out on March 20, 2026, via Frontiers Music Srl.

Lowery commented: “At the time I was asked to collaborate with Ignescent, I was truly building my relationship with Christ, in the beginning stages, the timing was perfect. Jennifer sent a melody she had and I built on that, a true offering to God in most humbling way.”

Jennifer Benson added: “The song is about God rushing in to rescue us when we’re surrounded and out of strength – a reminder that He never abandons us. He comes for us.”

Pre-Order “Eternal” HERE

Ignescent, a powerful and dynamic modern metal band from Chicago, fronted by the multi-talented vocalist Jennifer Benson, returns with their brand-new album, “Eternal”.

The band expressed their enthusiasm for the new record, by saying: “We’re beyond excited to announce our brand-new album “Eternal”, dropping March 2026! This one’s a battle cry – for faith, for hope, for forever. What’s eternal cannot be shaken”.

Their latest release showcases a fierce contemporary metal sound reminiscent of Flyleaf, Evanescence, Jinjer, and Skillet – blending raw emotion with driving riffs and soaring melodies.

Over the course of their career, Ignescent has made a notable impact on the rock scene. Their single “Remnant” climbed to #46 on the Billboard Rock Charts, while their debut EP “Electrified” was produced by four-time Dove Award-winning and Grammy-nominated producer Travis Wyrick (10 Years, P.O.D.). The opening track, “Calling Out To You”, co-written with former Skillet guitarist Ben Kasica, also made its way into the Billboard Rock Top 30.

Since 2018, the band has been actively touring across the Midwest, Nashville, and later Europe, following the release of their album “Fight In Me” through Frontiers Records Srl.

But Ignescent is more than just a rock band – they are storytellers with authenticity at their core. Drawing from real-life struggles with anxiety and depression, their lyrics offer a message of hope, resilience, and connection. Their music is grounded in emotion, featuring compelling guitar work, powerful rhythms, and deeply relatable themes.

“Eternal” is produced by Jeremy Valentine (New Years Day) and Brandon Wolfe, and features a collection of modern metal anthems, including “Joker”, “Fearless” – co-written with Sameer Bhattacharya of Flyleaf, and “Chariot Of Fire”, featuring Clint Lowery of Sevendust.

EDGE OF PARADISE Unveil Official Video for ‘Martyr (Monster)’

Today, Los Angeles–based cinematic hard rock visionaries EDGE OF PARADISE unveil a striking new music video for “Martyr (Monster)”, cut from last year’s smash hit album Prophecy. Delving deeper into the band’s immersive sci-fi universe, the narrative-driven visual experience features the first performance of new keyboardist, Alex Nasla, and a second act that reimagines the song as an instrumental, musically expanding upon its initial appearance on Prophecy.

This instrumental reimagining directly accompanies the release of “Hologram and Slaves to Forever”’s, the band’s graphic novel, upcoming audiobook, heightening the emotional themes of consciousness, control, and humanity in an increasingly digital world. EDGE OF PARADISE channels their inner William Gibson, inviting fans into their narratively confrontational dystopia.

EDGE OF PARADISE frontwoman Margarita Monet says this about the new video and expanded track:
“This song is about realizing you can either surrender to the system that shapes you or reclaim your own identity. Perspective decides whether you’re seen as a martyr or a monster, I believe both live within us. But the power lies in choosing which one you allow to define your reality. The video expands that idea visually, exploring fractured possibilities, perspective, and what it means to stay human in an increasingly artificial and controlled world.”

Monet adds about the addition of New Keyboardist Alex Nasla:
“We are also very excited to welcome Alex Nasla to the band, as he extends the cinematic sound even more! In the song, each member carries a moment that pushes the story forward. Alex Nasla’s keyboard solo marks the beginning of a shift, and in the instrumental version they explode into something far more expansive, like stepping into a larger reality. Doug Weiand’s solo brings vulnerability and tension, and then Dave Bate’s lead hits with intensity and resolve. Anchored by the drive of Jamie Moreno and Kenny Lockwood, the song follows the same arc as its message, evolution through choice…”

Hot off several North American tours supporting labelmates Delain and Xandria, and Japanese metal sensation Lovebites, the video arrives alongside several premier festivals internationally, including headline performances on February 7 at Fire It Up Festival in Garden Grove, CA, and April 17 at Hyperspace Metal Fest in Vancouver, BC Canada, as well as a performance at Rock in Rautheim in Braunschweig, DE, with more live dates to be announced soon!

Prophecy kicks off in explosive fashion with opening track “Death Note”, a bombastic crash through apathetic walls encouraging listeners to break free from their technological isolation, and embrace connection with others over numb comfort alone. “Give It To Me (Mind Assassin)”, cranks up the intensity with an irresistible driving pulse propelled even further by an infectiously dancy chorus. A raucous fight for authenticity and self-realization, “Prophecy Unbound” careens through claustrophobically tight riffage, blossoming into a lush and cathartic belt-along chorus. The winding serpentine melodies of “Falling Light” explode with Monet’s venomous soaring vocals, dancing around ethereal synth textures, enveloping listeners in a sonic gothic cathedral. Released earlier this year, lead single “Rogue (Aim For The Kill)”, is a full throttle industrial rock track about perseverance in the face of seeming unbeatable adversity. “The Other Side of Fear” is an energized rager built on pulsating dance beats and features a standout guitar solo from composer and commander in shred Dave Bates. Prophecy takes a stand against indifference, encouraging listeners to go outside, cry, and embrace all the uncomfortable parts of life that make us human, before apathetic comfort, driven by addictive algorithms bring about our demise.

Co-produced with Mike Plotnikoff (Nita Strauss, Apocalyptica, Daughtry, Three Days Grace), mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen (Amaranthe, Arch Enemy, Katatonia, Delain, Evergrey), and incorporated for the first time, 8-string guitars, Prophecy packs extreme firepower for EDGE OF PARADISE’s most intense voyage yet.
