German metalcore quartet Avralize have dropped a new single titled ‘Higher’, their second release through Arising Empire, following recent track ‘Lotus’.

Stream here: https://arisingempire.com/higher

‘Higher’ reimagines the love narrative, guiding listeners beyond everyday experiences to delve into intense emotional bonds and connections, moving from the tangible to a deeply significant realm.

Valentin (bass) comments: “‘Higher’ embodies the very essence of Avralize – burning for what you love, sacrificing everything, and pushing the limits further into the unknown. Chased by self-doubt and anxiety, it’s about using this energy as fuel to push forward. With this track, we’re excited to show our clear vision and remind ourselves that in the pursuit of greatness, we must be willing to give everything away.”

Having shared the stage with scene heavyweights like Ghostkid, Novelists, Paleface and Of Virtue, the group quickly established a reputation for their energetic live show that turns their crowds into a giant party on a regular basis. Despite their relatively short time as a band since their formation, Avralize have already performed at established festivals like Southside, Hurricane and RockXplosion.

Mar 30: DE Bietigheim-Bissingen Club 4D
Mar 31: DE Oberndorf am Neckar Neckarhalle

The band’s sophomore album Ovdan, which is Hebrew for “Loss,” marks the return of vocalist Yishai Swartz who suffered a near fatal heart attack and open heart surgery in early 2023. After nearly losing everything, Swartz and crew have emerged with resilient spirit and creative force on their most dynamic and ambitious record yet.

ESOTERIC Announce North American Tour with Chthe’ilist + Vacant Eyes

Posted by tarjavirmakari on February 11, 2024
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: ESOTERIC. Leave a comment

Esoteric move at their own punishing pace. The band climbed out of the post-industrial wreckage of metropolitan England back in the early ’90s, when the underground was hell-bent on death-defying speed. That these Birmingham Britons bucked that trend by hitting the brakes ran circles around some slower-witted metalheads. But while ahead of the curve, they’re now rightfully regarded as one of the heaviest — and headiest — hitters in funeral doom.

Today, Esoteric are announcing their first North American tour in more than 10 years. This marks just the second time that they’ve toured North America. The band will creep through the Midwest before trudging across Canada. They’ll then seep down the East Coast before heaving the full bore of their cosmic weight onstage at Maryland Death Fest.

Vacant Eyes will join for the first leg of this tour, followed by Chthe’ilist for the second. Spectral Voice will also appear on select dates, including MDF.

“We are really looking forward to crushing stages across North America with these three incredible bands”, says Esoteric’s long-time vocalist and guitarist Greg Chandler.

Surrender your ears as Royal Republic are back with the release of their new album LoveCop on June 7th via OMN Label Services. You can pre-order the album here.

The self-proclaimed Power-Disco quartet have also released the title track, an audacious anthem which comes with its own 80s inspired workout video to guide your groove with the infectious sweat-dripping bass lines, stadium sized choruses and explosive Van Halen-esque guitar solo.

watch here / listen here

The band comment, “This one is here to inform all the love-abiding citizens that you’re basically free to do whatever the fuck you want. If that’s not enough to make you wanna take off your clothes and dance, you are hereby charged with two counts of being a drag.  LoveCop says you have the right to remain loud! You have the right to remain wicked. So put your hands behind your head… and dance!”

Produced by Adam Grahn and Michael Ilbert at the legendary Hansa Studios in Berlin, LoveCop is the band’s fifth studio album and sees them at their most bold, brazen and brilliant. The band also recently teased the upcoming album with the release of My House, which is another dirty guitar driven, funk-fuelled feisty anthem, which the band proclaim is “the latest weapon in the fight against bad parties.”

Breaking all rock’n’roll norms since 2007, the Swedish Power-Disco quartet are formed of Adam Grahn (vocals), Hannes Irengård (guitar), Jonas Almén (bass) and Per Andreasson (drums). They first came onto the scene with their 2010 debut album We Are The Royal, which features the hit single Tommy Gun, and have evolved through albums like Save The Nation and Club Majesty.

Also known as a tour-de-force in the live arena, the band have been announced for several festival appearances this year, where their irresistible blend of sass, riffs and puns will enthrall audiences again.

In an electrifying surge of creativity, Southern rock behemoths Robert Jon & The Wreck are poised to unveil their most ambitious project yet, Red Moon Rising. This groundbreaking album, set for release on June 28th via Joe Bonamassa’s Journeyman Records, is a bold declaration of evolution and rebirth, capturing the essence of the band’s transformative years and setting a new course for their musical odyssey. The album’s lead single and title track, “Red Moon Rising,” emerges as a beacon of this new era.

With its funk-infused rhythms and thought-provoking lyrics, the song represents a slight departure from the band’s traditional sound. “Red Moon Rising” started out as a simple jam in the room and took on a life of its own,” reveals frontman Robert Jon. “It’s about all the beliefs, myths, and traditions surrounding a red moon, symbolizing rebirth and change, which perfectly encapsulates the spirit of our new album.”

Following their critically acclaimed September 2023 UK tour, Robert Jon & The Wreck return to the UK for a 10-date tour playing leading venues in November 2024.  Planet Rock will run an exclusive 48-hour ticket pre-sale from 10am on Monday February 12th until Tuesday February 13th via planetrock.com. Tickets go on general sale 10am on Wednesday February 14th at robertjonandthewreck.com.

Following a whirlwind of activity in recent months, including the release of their acclaimed singles,“Ballad Of A Broken Hearted Man,”  “Help Yourself,” “Hold On,” and “Stone Cold Killer,” as well as their studio and live albums Ride Into The Light and Live At The AncienneBelgique, Robert Jon & The Wreck continue to forge their path with unyielding momentum. Red Moon Rising is the culmination of their experiences, a testament to their resilience and a celebration of their collective growth.

The announcement also comes on the heels of the launch of the band’s US and Euro 2024 tour, as Robert Jon & The Wreck hit the road to bring the vibrant energy of “Red Moon Rising” directly to their fans. With a schedule that includes intimate venues in Phoenix, AZ and Santa Fe, NM, as well as international stops in cities like Milan and Barcelona, the tour promises a diverse array of performances. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit https://robertjonandthewreck.com/

Prolific songwriters with a wealth of new material who refuse to be constrained by traditional release strategies, the band’s new partnership with Joe Bonamassa’s Journeyman Records affords them the opportunity to work with the world’s top producers and release a steady stream of high-quality singles on an ongoing basis, cutting through the industry chaos and ensuring new music is accessible to fans as intended.

Reigning from Southern California, Robert Jon & The Wreck take the Southern rock sound from the east coast and make it their own. Since their inception in 2011, these native Californians; Robert Jon Burrison (lead vocals, guitar), Andrew Espantman (drums, background vocals), Henry James Schneekluth (lead guitar, background vocals), and Warren Murrel (bass) have been electrifying audiences all over the world with their soaring guitar leads, rich vocal harmonies, and memorable tunes. Recently, keyboardist Jake Abernathie joined the band as an official member as they continue to tour and record in the studio. Simply put, it is difficult to ignore when these talented musicians take the stage.

As Robert Jon & The Wreck prepare to embark on this next chapter with Red Moon Rising, fans old and new are invited to join in the celebration of change, rebirth, and the relentless spirit of rock ‘n’ roll. Stay tuned for continued updates.
