Welsh post-hardcore legends CASEY have announced European/UK headline dates, alongside what will be a huge series of appearances at Impericon Festival.
The band comments on the trek: “We’re thrilled to announce that we’ll be returning to mainland Europe, along with some shows in the UK, to celebrate our upcoming album. You’ll hear more about that very soon! Thank you for your patience; we’re aware it’s been a long time since our last headline shows in January, and we’re excited to be able to play some additional cities this time out. Along with our headline shows, we’re thrilled to be joining the Impericon festivals this year. We can’t wait to celebrate the upcoming album with you at these shows!“
The dates, which follow Casey’s highly successful first ever US headline tour and new single ‘Puncture Wounds to Heaven’ (Hassle Records) are as follows:
Mar 26 UK London Islington Academy Mar 28 DE Hamburg Sporthalle * Mar 30 DE Leipzig Messe * Mar 31 DE Oberhausen Turbinenhalle * Apr 02 NL Utrecht TivoliVredenburg Apr 03 BE Antwerp Trix Apr 05 CH Zürich X-Tra * Apr 06 DE München Zenith * Apr 07 AT Wien Arena * Apr 09 FR Paris Petit Bain Apr 11 UK Nottingham Rescue Rooms Apr 12 UK Bristol SWX Apr 13 UK Manchester Academy 2 Apr 14 UK Glasgow Garage *Impericon Festival
“‘Puncture Wounds to Heaven’ centres around the themes of apathy and the guilt that can arise as a result. The “coming up for air” sensation as you briefly snap out of a depressive episode, and survey how life has progressed around you. This is a core theme that carries throughout the new record, and musically the dichotomy between the smooth verses and the chaotic middle 8 really demonstrated that in a visceral way for us.“
The new single is the first glimpse of the band’s third album, in the words of Tom: “vocally (and musically) the most ambitious we’ve ever been, but still feels quintessentially Casey.”
The new single follows a joyous return for the quintet in 2023, including seven huge shows in the UK and Germany, and the limited release of their 7” Atone/Great Grief (Hassle Records).
Casey, at its core, was grounded in the notion that music is a labour of love. Without expectation of success, without desire to attain stardom, just a shared yearning to create music – and when this no longer rang true Casey stayed true to themselves, and stepped away.
In late 2018, when Casey announced they were bringing the band to a close, it felt like a premature demise. Their first two LPs – 2016’s Love Is Not Enough and 2018’s Where I Go When I Am Sleeping – had firmly established the Welsh five-piece as one of the most exciting bands in Britain’s alternative scene.
Now, years later, the band have returned – bigger and better than ever before. Casey don’t just replicate the feelings that inspire them – they embody them.

Danish underground heavy sensations ARCHANGEL have released a static video for ‘Apollyon Vistas’, third single taken from the debut album ‘Total Dark Sublime’ to be released on October 20th via Scarlet Records.
‘Total Dark Sublime’ will seduce the listener with an energetic, aggressive metal-punk vibe, combined with huge arena rock choruses and memorable and catchy riffs.
In an inferno of blood, Archangel creeps both hard-hitting and melodic songs into the listener’s skull, like a murderous nightmare you will never wake up from again.
The 10 tracks on the Danish band debut album are each uniquely varied and you’ll never quite know where the mood will take you next.
Just when you think you’ve nailed the Archangel sound down, they move in a different direction… though always with brilliant melody and menacing energy as the common thread throughout!

Finnish metalcore eccentrics One Morning Left have released a video for their brand new single ‘Neon Inferno (Paradise)’, out now via Arising Empire. A compelling narrative of a passionate yet tumultuous love affair, this musical masterpiece intricately weaves celestial and hellish imagery, painting a vivid portrait of a love that is as divine as it is destructive.
The song’s lyrical prowess lies in its ability to explore passionate, all-consuming love that walks the fine line between creation and destruction. The ‘Neon Inferno (Paradise)’ becomes a powerful metaphor in this journey – it’s bright and captivating, yet burning with an intensity that could consume all in its path.
Founded in 2008 in Vaasa, Finland, One Morning Left are well known for their unique blend of electro, hardcore and metalcore influences as well as their entertaining and energetic live shows where absolutely anything can happen.
One Morning Left’s most recent album, Hyperactive, marked their first new material in five years. The fourth album welcomed a whole new chapter in their story, drawing inspiration from retro electronic and video game music, as well as 80s hard rock, while staying true to their heavier roots.
Changes happened not only in musical style, but also in their line-up. Returning from the cast of 2016’s Metalcore Superstars were frontman Mika Lahti, singer/guitarist Leevi Luoto and drummer Niko Hyttinen. Additional firepower was provided by new faces Tuukka Ojansivu on guitar and Miska Sipiläinen on bass guitar, as well as the return-to-form of keyboard player Touko Keippilä from the band’s original Panda ❤ Penguin line-up.
One Morning Left have played shows with bands including Amaranthe, Machinae Supremacy, Adept, Protest The Hero, Fear Of Domination, Turmion Kätilöt and We Butter The Bread With Butter. The band have also graced the Finnish festival season, playing renowned festivals like Tuska Open Air and Rockfest.

To celebrate the release of the new DÉCEMBRE NOIR album Your Sunset | My Sunrise the band is happy to reveal the brand new video for the track Sleepwalker(In Yesterday’s Past) taken from the new effort.
The classic performance video was shot by Alexander Dietzof Heaven Shall Burn and their long-time videographer Philipp Hirsch.
As for the direction of their new album, DÉCEMBRE NOIR reveal the following: “Your Sunset | My Sunrise” is the cry for inner peace set to music. A heavy heart full of tears, which threatens to plunge its bearer into the abyss at any moment. Even if this means giving up oneself, in the end only the long-awaited silence counts. It is the escape on the wings of addiction from the battlefield of never-ending depression.
The approach of the band from Thuringia, Germany also reaches deep on their fifth full-time album – both lyrically and musically. This is already known from the previous records “The Renaissance Of Hope” (2020), “Autumn Kings” (2018), “Forsaken Earth” (2016) and “A Discouraged Believer” (2014). DÉCEMBRE NOIR act consistently atmospheric, gloomily tuned and open to interpretation. The underlying thoughts, emotions and intentions of the songs of the quintet are not always clearly determinable. And they don’t have to be. For the nuances and forebodings set to music have a special significance in the German band’s playing.
What once started between doom and death metal, has developed over the years and releases to an independent, organic gloomy sound, which achieves its ominous effect space and its captivating fascination quite independently of liking or style questions. On “Your Sunset | My Sunrise”, produced by HEAVEN SHALL BURN’s Alexander Dietz at his Chemical Burn Studio, DÉCEMBRE NOIR again rely on melancholic as well as melodically addressed pieces that stand completely on their own and therefore captivate because they are presented so heavy, dark and atmospheric.
DÉCEMBRE NOIR Live 14.10. Erfurt | Club From Hell – ALBUM RELEASE SHOW
ON TOUR WITH ENDSEEKER 18.10. Franfurt/ Main | Nachtleben 19.10. Nürnberg | Der Cult 20.10. Weiher | Live Music Hall 21.10. Würzburg | B-Hof 26.10. Leipzig | Hellraiser 27.10. Bochum | Turock Fest 28.10. Hamburg | Bahnhof Pauli

As Beneath a Desert Sky said, ‘a must see show if you love classic progressive rock music or The Moody Blues music.‘
Tickets go on sale from Friday 13th October, with VIP packages also available including a personal Video Message from John, autographed poster, tote, laminate and exclusive merch item! All ticket links atwww.johnlodge.com/tour.
The show also features a special video and recording by the late, and missed, Graeme Edge of his poems ‘Morning Glory’ and ‘Late Lament’. Graeme wrote these poems for the album, but they were originally spoken by Mike Pinder. John asked Graeme to record them so that he could always be on stage with him. Jon Davison of YES also joins John to perform the classic songs, “Nights in White Satin” and ‘Tuesday Afternoon’. Jon is John’s son-in-law and great friend, having originally met back in 2019 on the ‘Royal Affair’ Summer Tour with YES, Asia, John and Carl Palmer.
“The show came about following conversations with Graeme, Alan (Hewitt) and Jon (Davison)… This album and these Moody Blues songs changed our lives, they may even have changed the fans lives, and I felt they deserved to still be heard and experienced live as they were originally intended. My hope is that coming to one of my shows, you can close your eyes and we can all take a moment to turn back the clock as we celebrate this music together. Alan, Jon, and my band have done an incredible job in realizing my vision. It was always important to me to remain true to the original whilst at the same time use modern sound and all the wonderful new technology to reveal the richness of these songs. The tour, as with the album, is dedicated to Graeme, Justin, Ray and Mike, and to every fan, whether they joined back in 1967, or on any day since”
‘Days of Future Passed’ was released 56 years ago, and was arguably the start of progressive rock. These songs began the long standing cross-over between rock and classical music, and the Moody Blues shows were always known for recreating this incredible sound, and for the wonderful atmosphere. John has surrounded himself with a band that are equally passionate, who put simply, love performing together, and who appreciate and respect the legacy of the music.
The electrifying show will also be in support of John’s album ‘Days of Future Passed – My Sojourn’, available now on CD and all streaming services, with a limited edition 180g Red Gold vinyl album available from Nov 24th: https://slinky.to/DaysOfFuturePassed
Dino Ciliberti recently reviewed one of John’s shows and said “to hear this one more time just shows the magic of music and an album that will always stand the test of time”, and Gary Graff, “a loving and precise recreation”. Come and be taken back to the live Moody Blues shows of the past, with songs you love, featuring John Lodge, and tributes to all his bandmates.
Joining John on stage is his ‘10,000 Light Years Band’, long term collaborator Alan Hewitt (Music Director and Keyboards) and Billy Ashbaugh (Drums) from the Moody Blues touring band, together with Duffy King (Guitars) and Jason Charboneau (Cello). Jon Davison of YES will also be joining him for his special renditions of ‘Nights in White Satin’ and ‘Tuesday Afternoon’, plus the magical voice of Graeme Edge. “Every time we hit the stage, I appreciate just how great this music is. I love to watch how much the John Lodge/ Moody Blues fans go on a musical journey with us during our shows.” Alan Hewitt, Oct 2023.
Watch John’s video for Peak Hour from the album:
‘If you love The Moody Blues music, then you really need to checkout John live. He and the band put on a great show!’
