THOTCRIME have shared two new remixes of Tweet This!, taken from their latest album D1G1T4L_DR1FT. The remixes shine a light on the cybergrind group’s electronic hardcore influences, with drummer Dot Homler’s Sacred Fawn project also providing a remix of the track.

Stream Tweet This! (Remixes) via Apple Music, TIDAL, Deezer, Bandcamp and Spotify

Speaking on the remixes, Malady Jane (guitar) comments: “For these remixes we wanted to showcase some of our own work on this song. The “hardcore mix” is a version of the track closer to what you might hear if you see us live, with the electronics pared back and heavy drums and guitar brought to the fore. Sacred Fawn is the alias of our very own Dot Homler, who reworked the track into a lo-fi footwork/breakcore style.”

THOTCRIME’s prolific output to date has seen the band generate a buzz in online music communities and garner praise from Bandcamp Daily in the publication’s profile on the burgeoning cybergrind movement at large. D1G1T14L_DR1FT, the follow up to 2020s ønyøurcømputer, sees THOTCRIME continue to gleefully abandon genre convention in favour of boundless individuality and invention. Of the 13 tracks, THOTCRIME boast features from Carson Pace of The Callous Daoboys, Katie Davies of Pupil Slicer, Aki McCullough of Dreamwell and diana starshine.

Upcoming THOTCRIME tour dates:
March 25 – TBA – St. Louis, MO+ March 26 – Come Together Space – Bloomington, IL+
March 27 – The A Hole – Ames, IA*

Raw, energetic, atmospheric, and dwelling; PIL & BUE tick all the boxes with their new album “Special Agents” that’s dedicated to the “everyday heroes” of our society.

After massive praise from fans and the media for their previous albums “Forget the past, Let’s Worry About the Future” (2016) and “The World is a Rabbit Hole” (2021) Pil & Bue release their most anticipated album to date “Special Agents” on February 24th.

Listen to the album at https://orcd.co/specialagentspb

Pil & Bue comments on the album:
“We want to acknowledge people that include and take care of people around them.
We are watching the world, debating what we see, but also access the deep within ourselves in the search for purpose.
So, it is mainly a philosophizing album inspired by people like Nietzsche and Kierkegaard.

To a certain degree it is about detachment and becoming who you really are.
Our goal as human beings is to feel freedom and happiness, if so, just for a little while.
We still need more kindness and justice in the world.
And those themes will never leave our lyrics.
We are sick of war and profit.”

After their critically acclaimed third album “The World is a Rabbit Hole” (2021) Pil & Bue went back into Cederberg Studios in Kristiansand, Norway where they did the album to record “Special Agents” in known surroundings with people they trust.

Co-producer and mixer Christer André Cederberg comments;
“This album has it all! Raw energy, pure music joy, anger, sorrow, humor and hope.
It is heavy, punk, dynamic, beautiful, melancholic, and experimental!
What more can you ask for?

You can experience Pil & Bue live in Germany on the second leg of their EU tour alongside Long Distance Calling on the following dates:

Cemented as 2023’s red-hot rising band to watch, THE SCARLET OPERA proudly presents a brand new single entitled “Alive” today via SB Projects/Republic Records–listen to “Alive” HERE. It notably heralds the arrival of their anxiously awaited debut EP Comedy out March 24th. Pre-order/Pre-save Comedy HERE.

On the song, delicate piano underscores frontman Luka Bazulka’s nuanced delivery. The momentum builds as the track culminates into a chantable chorus, “Life keeps rolling so, keep the party alive.”

The band describes the inspiration behind “Alive,” saying “To know such intense heartache and pain, comes the ability to feel an equally visceral amount of joy and love – this is what we have come to understand about life – and we’d like to feel it all before we go.”

Next up, The Scarlet Opera will make their late night television debut on CBS’s The Late Late Show with James Corden next Tuesday, February 28th. Be sure to tune in!

“Alive” follows the fan favorite “Big City Thing.” Instinct Magazine touted them among “Bands To Watch” and noted, “It is a rare occasion when a band can play a sold-out show in both Hollywood and New York City after only releasing one song, but this is exactly what happened with the Los Angeles band known as The Scarlet Opera.” LA On Lock proclaimed, “‘Big City Thing’ is a flamboyant celebration of artistic freedom that gets in your ears and then in your soul.”

“Big City Thing” landed in the wake of their debut single “The Place To Be.” In addition to gaining traction at DSPs, they have earned enthusiastic acclaim from the likes of LA Weekly and Pass the Aux. The latter hailed the sold-out Troubadour gig last fall as “quite simply the show of the year.” Check out the band’s captivating performance of “The Place To Be” live at The Troubadour HERE.

Get ready for a whole lot more from The Scarlet Opera in 2023.

The Scarlet Opera:
Inspired by the Scarlet Lettering of the misunderstood and misrepresented – the music, the shows, the glamour are all devoted to the outcasts – to the sexually liberated – to those who don’t come from wealth – to those who are divine.

The Scarlet Opera represents passion, lust, fury and beauty.

Fine art for the promiscuous.

Fine art for the bold.

Fine art for all.

STONETRIP Release New Album ‘Run Free’ on March 10th

STONETRIP’s debut self-titled EP was released via Golden Robot Records back in 2021 and showcased the bands impressive range. Straight up rock n’ roll bangers like opening track ‘Sideways‘, ‘Runaway‘ and ‘Wild Hearted‘ came to be live favourites for their sheer energy and power. ‘Nightmare‘ went deep, showing a more serious side, while ‘My Angel‘ delivered a classic acoustic-driven power ballad, complete with a soaring, heartfelt guitar solo.

The EP was just the beginning… Today, Stonetrip have announced they are set to deliver their debut full-length album on 10th March titled ‘Run Free’, an exciting mix of old and new tracks. The band worked with Australian producer and engineer Ricki Rae of Lighthill Sound Recording Studio to polish their new songs into a brilliant shine that will set the benchmark for Oz Rock in 2023!

Pre-order/add/save Run Free HERE

Following an overwhelming response to their debut live appearance in 2019, Stonetrip have established a dedicated local fanbase and a reputation for their high-octane, energetic live performances. Despite the difficult year that was 2020, these guys didn’t let this affect their quest to unleash their unique brand of rock ’n’ roll to the world.

Now, with their recent releases, the band have raised the stakes, finally showing rock lovers around the world what they’re made of.
