After their previous album Reality Illusion (2017) the band’s second vocalist Tommy Tuovinen (MyGrain) left the band, and the band’s other vocalist Asim Searah since took over all the vocal duties live, and also for the new album. Therefore the new album will feature Damnation Plan with a new through-out clean vocals approach, attaching their style even more in the style of traditions respecting progressive metal, featuring mostly clean vocals.

A KILLER’S CONFESSION, the band led by vocalist Waylon Reavis, released Sepultura’s classic hit “Roots Bloody Roots” today. The original song was part of Sepultura‘s “Roots” album released 27 years ago this month. The video is directed by Alex Hatrix and music is performed and arranged by Dusty Boles and Hayden Helms.
On why they covered “Roots Bloody Roots”, Waylon Reavis comments: Releasing this song is an Honor. In my humble opinion I feel this is the best tribute I can give to Sepultura and Max Cavalera as a thank you for everything they have given me as a listener throughout the years. Sepultura is one of the reasons I wanted to become a singer/songwriter. I wanted to do them justice by adding a flavor with a new sound but staying true to what the song is. This is and will forever be one of my top 10 songs in my playlist. I hope everyone enjoys my rendition.
The band also announced they will be heading back to Inkcarceration this July where they will be performing on Friday, July 14th!
A Killer’s Confession have released three albums since forming Unbroken (2017), The Indifference of Good Men (2019) and Remember (2021). They have also released several singles. A new album is forthcoming.
Italian MeloDeathers HELL’S GUARDIAN have released their stand-alone single and video for Katy Perry’s ‘Hot ‘n Cold’.
The band says about: “Katy Perry is considered a leading figure in pop music of the 2000s and achieved worldwide success with the single ‘Hot n Cold‘ 2008. As a fan, we chose to readapt this track for its catchy and direct nature, which fits well with the Metal sound. The cover was created for fun while writing the new album, as you can see from the self-ironic video. It is an interesting project but separate from the band, which remains faithful to its epic and symphonic sound.”

Stoked to have Bravewords premiere our new single “The Morning’s Light” This song was inspired by the legendary X-Men villain Apocalypse so we wanted to make the music feel as powerful and evil as him! We had a lot of fun working out the parts to this song and recording it and love how it came out in the end. Make sure you crank it! – Kyle

Prepare for total annihilation. Germany’s brutal death surf metal mongers STILLBIRTH will return this spring to deliver their 8th studio album, Homo Deus, due on April 7th from Distortion Music Group. Accompanying the record’s announcement, the band has revealed the first single, “Autonomous Eradication,” which is available for streaming now.
Watch the music video for “Autonomous Eradication“:
Commenting on the new single, STILLBIRTH states:
“Get ready to experience the adrenaline rush with our upcoming single “Autonomous Eradication”. This heart-pumping track takes you on a journey through the dystopian world of “Homo Deus”. In this Stillbirth Song humanity created Artificial Intelligence to help against new enemys, but it became their worst nightmare. The electrifying riffs, pounding drums, and powerful vocals create an intense atmosphere that will leave you captivated from start to finish.
We takes a bold step into the unknown, exploring the consequences of our actions and asking the question, “What if A.I. took over?” The lyrics paint a vivid picture of a world where machines rule supreme, and humanity is left struggling to survive. “Autonomous Eradication” is just a tiny fraction of the story from the upcoming concept album “Homo Deus.” The album finishes the trilogy which began with “Annihilation of Mankind,” or maybe not?
So, don’t miss out on this epic release! Turn up the volume and experience ‘Autonomous Eradication’ for yourself. It’s a song that will stay with you long after the last note fades.”
Adding about the impending album the band says:
“The album ‘Homo Deus’ features 11 songs (44 minutes) and is a much more diverse album than our last releases. You can expect a maximum violent Stillbirth album, but this time we’ll give you a few more seconds to catch your breath in between the songs. Every song got its unique style with razor-sharp guitar riffs, crushing drums and a lot of vocal variety between nasty grunts to ear-splitting highs. To get the maximum brutality into your ears, we worked again with the audio-studio ‘Demigod Recordings’ for mix and master of the album. Our cover designer Aghy Purakusuma did a superb job on our landscape artwork and we again combined our love for details to hide some Easter eggs in the cover. We can’t wait to hear the opinions of our old and maybe new fans.“
Homo DeusTracklisting: 1. The Hunt 2. Disgraced 3. Proclaim the Anarchy 4. Homo Deus 5. Slaughtered and Disemboweled 6. Rising From The Ashes 7. Autonomous Eradication 8. Seed of Judgement 9. Descending 10. Tribunal of Penance 11. Get Out
