Canadian death/thrashers INVICTA unleash their latest single “The Mornings Light” with lyric video from their highly anticipated upcoming album Triumph And Torment. Check out the video below on the Sublevel Records YouTube channel.

The video recently premiered via Bravewords and the feature can be found here.

Stoked to have Bravewords premiere our new single “The Morning’s Light”
This song was inspired by the legendary X-Men villain Apocalypse so we wanted to make the music feel as powerful and evil as him! We had a lot of fun working out the parts to this song and recording it and love how it came out in the end. Make sure you crank it! – Kyle

SubLevel Records is proud to announce the new Invicta album Triumph and Torment, which will be released on March 31st, 2023. Invicta guitarist/vocalist Kyle Edissi comments: “Our goal while writing and recording this record was to make it sound Vicious and Triumphant. We wanted each song to channel the villainous vibes that inspired it. We really challenged ourselves and feel that this is a big step beyond our previous material, while staying true to the Invicta sound. I am really proud of this album, and I am really proud of the band and everyone involved in its creation. ‘I was God… and yet, I was unchanged. I was not one with the universe. I was not content.’”

Triumph and Torment includes 10 tracks of vicious and melodic Death/Thrash fit for a battle in Hell. Featuring Heathen touring guitarist Kyle Edissi on guitar and vocals, Invicta is a force to be reckoned with, delivering the killer tracks “Forces of Annihilation” and “Sinister Obsession” in their quest for total Metal domination. If you’re looking for a cross between Revocation, Kreator and Iron Maiden, look no further. Get your copy now!

German STILLBIRTH Conceive New Album, “Homo Deus”, Out April 7th, Reveal New Single + Video ‘Autonomous Eradication’

Prepare for total annihilation. Germany’s brutal death surf metal mongers STILLBIRTH will return this spring to deliver their 8th studio album, Homo Deus, due on April 7th from Distortion Music Group. Accompanying the record’s announcement, the band has revealed the first single, “Autonomous Eradication,” which is available for streaming now.

Pre-Order Homo Deus: distortionmusicgroup.indiemerch.com

Watch the music video for “Autonomous Eradication“:

Commenting on the new single, STILLBIRTH states:

“Get ready to experience the adrenaline rush with our upcoming single “Autonomous Eradication”. This heart-pumping track takes you on a journey through the dystopian world of “Homo Deus”. In this Stillbirth Song humanity created Artificial Intelligence to help against new enemys, but it became their worst nightmare. The electrifying riffs, pounding drums, and powerful vocals create an intense atmosphere that will leave you captivated from start to finish.

We takes a bold step into the unknown, exploring the consequences of our actions and asking the question, “What if A.I. took over?” The lyrics paint a vivid picture of a world where machines rule supreme, and humanity is left struggling to survive. “Autonomous Eradication” is just a tiny fraction of the story from the upcoming concept album “Homo Deus.” The album finishes the trilogy which began with “Annihilation of Mankind,” or maybe not?

So, don’t miss out on this epic release! Turn up the volume and experience ‘Autonomous Eradication’ for yourself. It’s a song that will stay with you long after the last note fades.”

Adding about the impending album the band says:

“The album ‘Homo Deus’ features 11 songs (44 minutes) and is a much more diverse album than our last releases. You can expect a maximum violent Stillbirth album, but this time we’ll give you a few more seconds to catch your breath in between the songs. Every song got its unique style with razor-sharp guitar riffs, crushing drums and a lot of vocal variety between nasty grunts to ear-splitting highs. To get the maximum brutality into your ears, we worked again with the audio-studio ‘Demigod Recordings’ for mix and master of the album. Our cover designer Aghy Purakusuma did a superb job on our landscape artwork and we again combined our love for details to hide some Easter eggs in the cover. We can’t wait to hear the opinions of our old and maybe new fans.“

Homo Deus Tracklisting:
1. The Hunt
2. Disgraced
3. Proclaim the Anarchy
4. Homo Deus
5. Slaughtered and Disemboweled
6. Rising From The Ashes
7. Autonomous Eradication
8. Seed of Judgement
9. Descending
10. Tribunal of Penance
11. Get Out

Ehsan Imani is a London-based music producer and guitar player. He started his music career in Iran and studied at Berklee College of Music and Goldsmiths University of London. He previously released an album “Rager Blaze” back in 2014 and is now following it with the powerful “The Flames Within” EP, which is available now. This EP is supporting the Iranian protesters against the Islamic regime of Iran and Imani expects a positive reception from rock and metal fans in both Iran and the rest of the world. He explains further:

“As an Iranian artist who had lived there for more than three decades, I wrote these three songs to express my disagreement with the Islamic regime and to stand in solidarity with the people of Iran. That’s why the audience can experience different emotions listening these songs, such as sorrow, anger, and hope. I believe most of the rock and metal listeners around the world can relate to the words and will enjoy these groovy and rebellious music.”

The three-track EP covers government corruption, the lives lost in the Iranian protests, and the energy coursing through the people who were on the front lines. This emotion is paired with groovy guitar riffs, shredding solos, orchestral instrumentation and soulful vocals.

The EP comes in English version and is a passionate display of anger, motivating vibes, and an epic atmosphere. It is recommended for fans of Disturbed, Alter Bridge, and Falling in Reverse.

Released on February 15, 2023, you can listen to “The Flames Within” on Spotify and Apple Music.

Track Listing:
1. The Flames Within (3:47)
2. Once and For All (3:28)
3. The Raging Blaze (3:33)

LUNAR Present Power Metal Inspired ‘Showtime’ Ft. PALADIN’s Taylor Washington

LUNAR is a riveting progressive metal band from Sacramento, USA. They are eager to be releasing their third album “The Illusionist” this March and with that anticipation, proudly present the third single “Showtime” featuring a guest guitar solo from PALADIN’s Taylor Washington. The nine-track concept album tells the story of a magician that questions his entire life’s work. He’s spent his entire life devoting himself to his craft and now he questions if it was worth it. The band expects that the underlying theme is one many people can relate to, especially those who have careers in some kind of artistic field. The single follows the main character as he gets ready to perform, it is high energy and a bit more power metal inspired as the band explains:

“Not letting anyone have a breather from the last single, here’s another fast, high-energy song from the album! This song was actually written last for the album and almost wasn’t included. I thought the album was finished, but something early in the track listing felt like it was missing to me, so I threw this one in and it turned out to be, in my opinion, one of the strongest and most unique songs on the album. This one features an amazing guest guitar solo from Taylor Washington (PALADIN), who is now the only guest who has appeared on all 3 Lunar full-length albums.”

Optimistically, Lunar expects this full-length to be the fan favorite and they consider it the best album they have ever done, the songwriting is stronger, the production is stronger, and every song sounds different, but it’s a strong cohesive record to listen to from front to back.

With lyrics that are based on real-life experiences complemented by proggy riffs, they are recommended listening for fans of Katatonia, Haken, and Caligula’s Horse.
