Suited in the garments of the last days, it is finally time for demoness Lilith Fox, Mashl J. (a.k.a. the Messiah), and their three prophets Rayzon, Zach Volcanic and Smoky 616 to heed their destiny, to carry out salvation to the world and to raise their numbers! The End Of Time, the band’s debut album, will be upon us on April 21, 2023 via Massacre Records.
All that is left after the apocalypse is combined on record: Hate and fear but also hope, brutal as well as earthshaking drums and enchanting choirs, stories of death as well as guidance for the lost and unbelieving. “The 10 new songs are each assigned to one of the “New 10 Commandments” of the WASTELAND CLAN“, the band explains, and which starts with the album opening and title track ‘The End Of Time’: “Thou shan’t look, but see.”
“The End Of Time” creates an image of the apocalypse, of annihilation and destruction“, the clan reveals. “It is a reminder, a warning. It takes a look back at our deeds and asks whether we have learned. Whether we are just standing idly by, or whether we realize the magnitude of what we have done. For therein lies hope. At the end of all time is great suffering, but also light. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.”
The End Of Time was produced by WASTELAND CLAN, and was mixed and mastered by Oliver Schmidt at Sirius Sound Lab. Available as CD Digipak, limited Vinyl LP and Digital formats on April 21, 2023, the pre-sale has just started at THIS LOCATION! The album artwork was created through the visionary mind of vocalist Lilith Fox.

Gothic Metal legends CREMATORY, who made a smashing impact on the German charts with their latest album, Inglorious Darkness, once again grace the music scene with another single from the album. The hauntingly beautiful track, “Rest in Peace,” takes the listener on a musical journey through the shadowy depths of death. The lyrics are a vivid illustration of the Grim Reaper’s embrace as he emerges from the misty veil of darkness. Heavy guitar riffs, thundering drumming, and the gloomy music video all perfectly capture the essence of the song’s haunting atmosphere. This single is a testament to CREMATORY’s unwavering commitment to delivering powerful and thought-provoking music that transports the listener to a different realm.
That’s not all – there’s more good news to be heard! CREMATORY will embark on a tour across Germany, hitting the biggest and best stages across the country while delivering powerful and electrifying performances that will leave you headbanging all night long. Don’t miss out on the chance to experience one of the most epic metal tours of the year. Grab your tickets now!
CREMATORY‘sstatement: “Gothic Rock´n Roll Motherfuckers! Bang that head that doesn´t bang! CREMATORY forever!”
Inglorious Darkness is chock full of dark and resonating hymns, setting off with title track “Inglorious Darkness” – a true Gothic Metal anthem and a worthy opener that sets the mood for what’s to come. “Break Down the Walls” hits direct, accented by a gentle melody wrapped in Rock n’ Roll drums that will infiltrate the listener’s brain, and is further solidified by the clean vocals of Felix in the verses mixed with mighty growls in the chorus. Monumental career highlight track “Tränen der Zeit” shines as bright as its original version – one of the highpoints of the band’s famous live shows – but in a modern new light. The band breathes new life into one of their all-time classics, engulfing the listener in melancholy and nostalgia alike reuniting with an old friend. On tracks like “Sound of my Life” and “Not for the Innocent”, the band’s tried-and-true use of keys and electronic elements are a noted standout, while tracks such as “Das Ende” blaze with headbang-inducing, stomping drums and hammering energy as German lyrics further intensify the Gothic Industrial Metal aura. With Inglorious Darkness, CREMATORY prove that their passion burns brighter than ever, and that even after more than 30 years, they are solidified as a Gothic Metal giant.
CREMATORY on Inglorious Darkness: “New band line-up and back to the roots with only one guitar and no other singer besides Felix, who sang everything on this album alone, even the cleaner vocals. Hardness, melody and gloom are excellently combined on Inglorious Darkness. Real Gothic Metal is the catchword, which can be enjoyed here. Numerous hits sung in German and English, partly electronic, partly orchestral and partly full on the face in Gothic Rock’n Roll style!”
BABYLON A.D. is Back! The band is excited to announce the new live concert recording, “Live Lightning” from Perris Records, to be released on March 17th. The new album includes their top-ten rock-radio classic hits “Hammer Swings Down”, “Kid Goes Wild”, “Bang Go The Bells” from their debut release, their hit “Bad Blood” from the “Nothing Sacred” album and songs from their studio albums “American Blitzkrieg”, “The Lost Sessions” and their last release “Revelation Highway” are all featured. The fourteen hard rocking tracks on “Live Lightning” showcase the high-energy, powerful live performances that Babylon A.D. is renowned for and the band plans on hitting the road in support of the new album.
Derek Davis, Babylon A.D. lead singer, “We are really excited about this release. The band’s sound engineer recorded three of our shows and then we went about listening to all the tracks we had recorded. The best sounding tracks came from The Empress Theater in Vallejo CA and Swiss Park Music Hall in Newark CA. We had sixteen songs to choose from and we settled on fourteen. Every studio album we have released is represented so it’s a good mix of songs. It was really cool putting the final mixes together, hearing the songs fresh with a few the surprises and a few mistakes here and there kept it interesting and real. The band is booking shows now and plan to do a lot of dates this year and keep the energy we have alive. We can’t wait to start playing again, The only thing good that came out of the whole Covid lock down is the song writing time we used. We are in the rehearsal stage for a new album and we have demos of fifteen songs already and plan to narrow that down to ten to twelve of the best tracks. We plan to release the new studio album early next year. Babylon A.D. is Back ! And we are ready to start a fire.”

About Babylon A.D.
Formed in 1987, Babylon A.D. hail from the San Francisco Bay Area, CA. Original members, Derek Davis vocalist/songwriter, guitarists’ and music writers John Mathews and Ron Freschi, drummer James Pacheco and bassist Robb Reid all met in high school, playing in rival bands before they began playing together and becoming one of the top drawing original Hard Rock bands in Northern CA.
Locating to Hollywood CA in late 1988, the band soon made a name for themselves with their powerful live performances and catchy songwriting skills.
In 1989 Babylon A.D. caught the attention of Arista Records president and industry music mogul “Clive Davis”, who signed them at a live showcase in Los Angeles thanks to their impressive three song demo and a home made video.
Their self-titled album “Babylon A.D.” was released in 1990 and included their hard rock classic hits “Bang Go The Bells”, “Hammer Swings Down” and “The Kid Goes Wild”, which was the trailer song and promotional video for Orion Pictures (ROBO COP 2). The band scored three #1 songs at Metal Radio and reached Gold status on their first release, which spent 38 weeks on the Billboard top 200, peaking at # 46.
Their sophomore effort (Nothing Sacred) released in 1992 produced two more top-ten metal rockers. “Bad Blood” and “So Savage the Heart”. Constant touring throughout the early 1990s and several MTV videos made them one of hard rock fans favorite bands. After spending several years with Arista Records the band signed with Apocalypse Records in 1999 and released “Live In Your Face”, a compilation of live tracks recorded at various cities’ across America. Their next release “American Blitzkrieg” soon followed in 2002 and both CDs were well received by critics and fans alike.
In 2008 the band released Babylon A.D. “In The Beginning” on Perris Records, a compilation of songs from the original demo tapes that secured them their recording contract with Arista Records.
After a long hiatus the band started playing and recording again in 2014. Touring across the States and Europe releasing a four song E.P and another album, the latest “Revelation Highway” was released in 2018 on Frontiers Records, Four videos and more touring followed through the beginning of 2020.
Fast forward to 2023, BABYLON A.D. is Back! The band is excited to announce the new live concert recording, “Live Lightning” from Perris Records.
April 7th will see the release of “Useless Propaganda”, the third album by Milan based ONE HORSE BAND, which will be coming out via Go Down Records. Recorded in Toronto, Canada, produced and mixed by the Los Angeles rock producer Dave Schiffman (who has worked for bands like Rage Against The Machine, System Of A Down and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club), the new album dials down the aggression in favor of reflection.
Coming from a strict do it yourself philosophy and a fast & loud attitude, the One Horse Band has not completely left his rawness behind but carefully redefined it in a more mature and polished dress. “Useless Propaganda” intentionally rips apart the idea of what the One Horse Band is and represents, sounding like a fine tuned mash up between alternative rock, garage noise and punk anger. Lyrics are getting very personal, but even the most introspective moments are delivered with the same desperation and represent a voice of righteous rage in the modern age. “Useless Propaganda” is an intimate journey from innocence to disillusion, a new evolutionary stage in the One Horse Band path and a painful scream that will probably remain unheard.
In support of the upcoming album, One Horse Band has shared a lyric video for the brand new single “A Little More”. You can watch the video here:
One Horse Band on “A Little More”:
“Sooner or later we all experienced the feeling of being swallowed by the big machine above our heads. This song is about giving all you’ve got and constantly being not enough, no matter how hard you try. Featuring both acoustic and electric guitars, old school synthesizers and sweet reverbs, the song takes the listener on a deep ride through the One Horse Band’s World, where dreams and reality collide“.
“Useless Propaganda” is available for pre-order at THIS LOCATION
FIRES IN THE DISTANCE are currently premiering their new single, Wisdom of the Falling Leaves, and its accompanying music video today via Metal Injection. Wisdom of the Falling Leaves is the second track to be taken from the Connecticut, US melodic death / doom metal group’s forthcoming sophomore album, Air Not Meant For Us, with the video directed by labelmates Jayson Cessna and Paul Fuzinski of Astralborne.
Air Not Meant For Us will be released via Prosthetic on April 28.
Speaking on the premiere the band comments: “For Wisdom of the Falling Leaves we were lucky enough to have Jayson Cessna and Paul Fuzinski of our labelmates Astralborne film and direct the whole thing, those guys are unbelievably talented, in music and in film so we really lucked out.
“The concept of the video is essentially a transition of the seasons, from the melancholy Autumn theme we started with on Echoes From Deep November to the bitter cold of Air Not Meant For Us. Lyrically, the song encompasses the cycle of life, death, and rebirth, and acceptance of the inevitable.”
On their second album, FIRES IN THE DISTANCE further expand on their musical foundations of wistful melodicism, crushingly heavy guitar work and intricate atmospherics. Across Air Not Meant For Us’ six tracks, FIRES IN THE DISTANCE tie together intensely personal ruminations on mental health and themes of existentialism in the form of mortality salience, without losing sight of the importance of perseverance.
Teaming up with Salt Lake City producer Randy Slaugh, FIRES IN THE DISTANCE’s chief songwriter Yegor Savonin (composition, guitars, programming, lyrics) sought to reach even greater dynamics within the band’s core sound of melodic death and doom metal. With live orchestration in the form of violas, violins, cellos, as well as piano work, proving to be an incredibly fruitful collaborative process for both band and producer.
Air Not Meant For Us marks the first time the band have recorded with new drummer, Jordan Rippe, who delivers his own wide range of ornate work and feeling to the group’s established sound. Whilst drums for the album were recorded at the historic Power Station New England, the rest of the instruments were tracked at Studio Wormwood in North Carolina with returning producer, Dave Kaminsky, who handled recording and mixing in both studios.
In addition to the collaboration with Randy Slaugh, the album also features a guest appearance from Burial in the Sky guitarist James Tomedi on instrumental track Adrift, Beneath the Listless Waves, who’s deft fretwork adds an additional layer of dynamic sheen.
Kristian Grimaldi’s thunderous vocal delivery compliments the album’s composition strongly and projects the songs to a greater level of formidability. The record is rounded out by Craig Breitsprecher’s complex and serpentine bass work which weave throughout the LP with an imperative sense of cohesion.
Seeking to retain aesthetic continuity, FIRES IN THE DISTANCE once again reached out to Caelan Stokkermans for the album’s art and layout, which masterfully conveys Air Not Meant For Us’ emotional core. With a runtime of 51 minutes across six songs, FIRES IN THE DISTANCE’s sophomore effort is a melodic doom and death metal odyssey in both artistic vision and sound.
Air Not Meant For Us tracklist: 1. Harbingers 2. Wisdom of the Falling Leaves 3. Crumbling Pillars of a Tranquil Mind 4. Adrift, Beneath the Listless Waves 5. Psalm of the Merciless 6. Idiopathic Despair
FIRES IN THE DISTANCE is: Yegor Savonin – composition, guitars, programming, lyrics Craig Breitsprecher – bass, vocals Kristian Grimaldi – guitars, vocals Jordan Rippe – drums
