US metalcore group FRAGMENTED TRANQUILITY release the first single taken from their forthcoming album This Entity. Here’s what the band had to say about the track; “The Fall is our political view of the corrupt and deceitful government and, in our eyes, the downfall of our country. We as a whole feel out of place in our home, and at times think that we won’t get out of this hell our country has created.”
Friday 21st October sees the release of “Remember Me”, the second longplayer from the old school deathers DISGUSTING PERVERSION! The album was mastered by V. Santura at Woodshed Studios (Triptykon, Dark Fortress, Pestilence) and features artwork by Juanjo Castellano (Revel In Flesh, The Black Daliah Murder).
For the title track, the guys have shot an official video clip, which is now available on the MDD YouTube channel. The album will be released as a CD in a jewel case and on all common download and streaming platforms.

KRILLOAN have released a video for ‘Sons of the Lion’ – first single taken from the debut-album ‘Emperor Rising’, set to be released on December 9th via Scarlet Records.
Krilloan came into the power metal world with a bang in 2021. Their debut EP ‘Stories of Times Forgotten’ – full of high pitch vocals, soaring guitar solos and thundering drums – made a direct impact on the metal community.
Following the path of the true Gods, they aim to go straight for the heart when it comes to power metal – that is, fast, melodic, anthemic and epic stuff.
‘Emperor Rising’ is written around classic fantasy themes as well as the far future and Krilloan – based around the Swedish guitaristKlas Holmgren – have one goal and one goal only in mind: to bring back the power in power metal with hard-hitting, sing-along, fists-in-the-air hymns!
mixed and mastered by Cristoph Brandes at Iguana Studios (Germany)
artwork by Alvaro Valverde (Unanimated, Wythersake)
guest apperances from Matthias Graf (Evertale), Jack Reynolds (Battle Born), Johan Karlsson (Evermore)
NYTT LAND release the second single from their upcoming EP, Ritual: Blood of the West, to be released digitally via Napalm Records on November, 18 2022. “Song of U-Gra” was originally released on their latest album Ritual, and has been reworked in western-inspired ways. This new interpretation once again immerses powerful throat singing with the soothing sounds of acoustic guitars. This mythical combination of storytelling and smooth guitar riffs offers a new approach without neglecting their legacy.
NYTT LAND state on “Song of U-Gra”: “This video repeats the plot of the original song in meaning, and this version of the song and the video were made to express our respect for the Native Americans, in addition to showing the cultural relationship of the indigenous peoples of Siberia and America. The tribes of the American Indians are the descendants of the Siberian tribes who migrated to the territory of America during the ice age fifteen thousand years ago.”
Following their traditions and connection to nature, NYTT LAND directs its powers toward a new territory, leaving behind the rough lands of the north and embarking on a sonic journey in five transfixing songs. NYTT LAND ventures into dark, western frontiers with their upcoming EP, Ritual: Blood of the West, to be released digitally via Napalm Records on November 18, 2022. Based on tracks from their latest album, Ritual, that has been reworked in gothic folk and western-inspired styles. Staying thematically faithful to ancient legends and adapting to the temperate sounds of the west, opening song “Dark Country Ritual” not only displays NYTT LAND’s dedication to their own legacy, but opens the EP with an enchanting, ambient new sound, rising and falling like smoke. On “The Blues of Ragnarok” and “Song of U-Gra” the band flexes its trademark vocal approach with summoning chants that gently carry the listener away to another mental state, conveying more tranquil versions of the originals without losing their depth and ancient thematic significance. “Dead Man’s Ballad” tells its story like a coyote howling at the moon, offering a mysterious yet soothing blend of guitar and vocals that reinterpret the band’s dark folk essence. “Blood of the West” closes the EP with acoustic guitar instrumentals that summon the spirits of the west and leaves the listener enchanted, induced in the serene, ancient sounds of the grasslands.
NYTT LAND on the new EP: “We’ve said many times that country and blues music are some of our favorite music genres. This EP is our tribute and memory to those great musicians who stood at the very origins of American country and blues music, those whose music inspires us daily. For us, working on this album has become the most unusual, but at the same time extremely interesting experience. And we really love that we did it!”
In celebration of the first anniversary of their third full-length, Darkened Infinity, REAPING ASMODEIA have today shared a new music video for album track Simulacra. The clip is a visual continuation of Darkened Infinity’s overarching themes of transcendentalism, the afterlife and dream logic. The Minneapolis technical death metal trio also recently announced a run of December and early January shows, with support from Our Judgment – more details below.
Speaking on the album release, drummer Daniel Koppy comments: “Today marks one year since we released Darkened Infinity into the world. We’ve made a lot of memories with all of you this past year and appreciate all the positive feedback we have received on the music and the story that encompasses the album.
“We have poured our souls into the creative process of both the album, as well as the visual content we have shared with you throughout the past twelve months. Today, we share our continued appreciation to all of you with our brand new video for Simulacra.
“The video is a continuation of our video for False Awakening and follows the album’s journey as such. We look forward to seeing you all at our upcoming December show schedule. We have plenty planned for 2023, but in the meantime, immerse yourselves in Simulacra.”
Produced and engineered by the band themselves in Minneapolis before being mixed and mastered by Zack Ohren (Machine Head, All Shall Perish, Carnifex) at Castle Ultimate and Sharkbite Studios, Darkened Infinity’s intricate lead melodies unfurl with a menacing clarity when set against the album’s more abrasive tones.
Darkened Infinity’s concept begins steeped in tragedy as the album’s protagonist loses his family at the hands of humanity’s destructive force, with his own life hanging in the balance. As the tale unfolds, Lane’s lyrics thread together a story of immortality, malevolent entities and realms of dream logic – all the while exploring humankind’s inherent duality. Darkened Infinity’s thematic quest for transcendence is adroitly tied together in the opening and closing moments, suggesting enlightenment is not something to be obtained, but merely ‘the consequence of being’.In the four years since their 2017 effort, Impuritize, REAPING ASMODEIA have relentlessly pursued the US live circuit, playing shows alongside the likes of Slaughter To Prevail, Rivers of Nihil, The Faceless and many more – refining their craft with a perseverance and determination akin to few others. Discontent with resting on their laurels, REAPING ASMODEIA in 2021 are a far more seasoned beast, ready and willing to obliterate all notions of time mellowing their appetite and musical ambitions.
Immersive, immense and infinitely satisfying – Darkened Infinity deftly places REAPING ASMODEIA amongst the genre’s most promising and consistently intriguing groups.
