China’s DEHUMANIZING ITATRAIN WORSHIP Drop Slam‑Fueled Tribute to Acheron & Japanese Folklore ‘Yomi’

China’s most unhinged fusion of anime culture and extreme metal, Dehumanizing Itatrain Worship, return with their newest single “Yomi”, taken from their upcoming full‑length album “二次元コンプレックス 2D Complex” out this July 2026 through Stillbirth Records, the subsidiary label from Gore House Productions.

Known globally as “the best anime death metal from China,” the band continues to push their bizarre, hyper‑violent, kawaii‑infected sound to new extremes. With brain‑melting anime‑style melodies, high‑speed blast beats, and a chaotic blend of J‑pop, brutal death metal, blackgaze, and Japanese folk, DIW have carved out one of the most unique identities in modern extreme music.

Having toured extensively across China, Japan, and Europe, and appearing at major festivals including Deathfeast Open Air, Eastsea Metal Fest, Monster Kill EU Tour, and Shockwave Fest, along with sharing the stage with such bands as Suicide Silence, Stillbirth, Born of Osiris, Origin, Belphegor, Vulvectomy, and more, the band now prepares to unleash their most ambitious and personal work yet.

Today, the band unveils their new single “Yomi” featuring Alan Grnja (Distant). The song stands as one of the album’s most striking and emotionally charged tracks, blending DIW’s signature slam brutality with Japanese folk elements and a solemn, atmospheric tone.

“‘Yomi’ features Alan Grnja from the Dutch deathcore heavyweights Distant. We blended in Japanese folk elements here. It’s solemn yet fierce, I think you guys are going to love it,” adds vocalist Kiryu.

Add to your Spotify playlist – https://open.spotify.com/track/1fyoWtozo3cyRSOTiUrGuc

The track follows the atmospheric piano interlude “Utsushiyo”, setting the stage for a descent into a mythic, folkloric underworld inspired by the character Acheron from Honkai: Star Rail.

“二次元コンプレックス 2D Complex” marks a major evolution for Dehumanizing Itatrain Worship, both musically and lyrically. While the band first gained notoriety for their meme‑driven anime‑slam chaos, this album digs deeper into Otaku psychology, isolation, and emotional collapse.

“We moved away from pure gore this time to focus more on anime culture, the hikikomori life, and my own mental state. These Otaku memes are just a shell. What’s actually inside is pain, hatred, and a genuine urge for self‑destruction. Imagine a car crash in Akihabara, that’s our music in a nutshell. We threw in everything from J‑pop and Blackgaze to Japanese folk. Every track is meant to stick with you. This album refuses to be boring,” adds Kiryu.

Dehumanizing Itatrain Worship
was formed from the collision of Japanese animation and extreme metal. DIW has become one of the most recognizable names in the global slam scene. Their sound is fast, brutal, kawaii, weird, and funny, a chaotic blend that has earned them a cult following across Asia and Europe.

For fans of: Ingested, Vulvodynia, Within Destruction, and Maximum The Hormone.

Due out on July 10, 2026, from Stillbirth Records / Gore House Productions, “二次元コンプレックス 2D Complex” is available for pre-order / pre-save at: https://orcd.co/2d-complex

HARSH are the new rising stars within the hard rock scene. The band from Paris revives their traditional sound with a modern twist and catchy melodies. Their songs and live shows strike with theatricality, paired with a rare sensitivity that forges a strong bond with the audience. Born from a deep friendship, the band succeeds in the bold challenge of combining musical power with emotional sincerity.

Today, HARSH release their brand new single „Forever Yesterday“ from their upcoming new album “Feels”. “”Forever Yesterday” is about a love story that collapsed under the weight of past scars. Torn between nostalgia and the desire for redemption, the song blends a bluesy banjo riff with an unexpected ballad atmosphere. A bittersweet journey about regret, hope, and the desire to be granted a new start”, comments the band.

Stream/Download the SINGLE: https://save-it.cc/fireflash/forever-yesterday

“Feels” will be released on a CD, ltd. blue-marbled-opaque VINYL and digital!

Following the success of their debut album “Out Of Control” (2022), and more than 300 shows played, including their tours along with a.o. THE NEW ROSES, ANVIL and CHRIS HOLMES (ex-WASP) across Europe and the UK, the French band is ready to release their second, new album called “Feels”, on July 3rd, 2026 through Fireflash Records (WOLF, FURIES, ROCK JUSTICE a.o.) and will carry their rock into every heart they encounter.

Hannes Braun, lead singer of KISSIN’ DYNAMITE, mixed and mastered the new album. A perfect match. “Working with Hannes Braun is kind of a dream for us. We love Kissin’ Dynamite’s music and sound and Hannes knows exactly how to get the best of each of our tracks. It’s always great and smooth to work with him”, adds Albert (Singer and guitarist). The overall result speaks for itself and gives the listener a good time, which is important nowadays more than ever. “For us, music is about expressing our feelings. It all comes down to creating a strong bond with the listener, on and off stage. This means everything to us.”

The lyrics on “Feels” are generally about life and things the four members experience or go through, about stories they hear and want to share. “We explore a variety of feelings on this album, simple ones such as falling in love or breaking up, but also mixed emotions that are harder to express, and are often disregarded. Here we’re talking about guilt, the need to find your place and your identity, helping someone going through grief, but also what binds us together: friendship.“

The band has huge plans and they have the songs. “Our next goal is to make “Feels” as unforgettable for others as it is for us, and we can’t wait to meet our community around the world.“

MEMOIRA Celebrate Life & Memories with New Video Single ‘Ikigai’

Finnish symphonic metal band Memoira has released a new single IKIGAI (Memories). The release celebrates life and memories and opens the door to a well-known Japanese philosophy of life. Ikigai is a Japanese philosophical concept that refers to something that gives a person a sense of meaning or a reason to live:

– “The song is a kind of ode to life. It encourages us to make the most of life and create memories that will last a lifetime. During the arrangement phase of the song, we were at a song camp together thinking about the lyrics, when our bassist Niko mentioned the term Ikigai. The term resonated with us immediately, because it can be connected to our desire to create music, play and perform. Music is our philosophy of life,” – says the band’s keyboardist Lassi Nuolivaara.

The positive philosophy is also conveyed in the song’s nostalgic home video-like music video, which is compiled from the band’s various travels and live performances:

– “Ikigai also serves as an ode to our amazing fans and supporters, who have been strongly involved both at home, live at gigs and on social media around the world. You are the reason why we make music!” – says the band’s vocalist Krista Astrid Schröter.

Memoira is known for its combination of symphonic metal and strong melodies, where a modern metal sound meets a cinematic and emotional expression. IKIGAI (Memories) continues the band’s line, offering both familiar and new oriental tones to the band’s sound.

THE CRUEL INTENTIONS Release Highly Anticipated Third Album “All Hail Hypocrisy” Showcasing Their Raw & Unfiltered Attitude

Posted by tarjavirmakari on May 30, 2026

Photo: Jørn Veberg

THE CRUEL INTENTIONS are exactly what you want and fully expect them to be: easy-going, fast-paced modern sleaze with gasoline in their veins and zero regard for the brake pedal.

The band was founded back in 2015 and consists of Mats Wernerson, Lizzy DeVine, Kristian Solhaug, and Robin Nilsson. They’re a Swedish/Norwegian, Oslo-based hard rock force, channeling the aesthetics of Guns N’ Roses and Mötley Crüe, injecting it with pop-punk punch and melodic hard-rock swagger bringing the legacy of good old rock ’n’ roll to new generations.

Listen to the album here: https://ffm.to/thecruelintentions

2026 sees the band return with “All Hail Hypocrisy”, a highly anticipated third album showcasing the band’s raw and unfiltered attitude, accompanied by playful riffs, high energy, and a unique style. On “All Hail Hypocrisy”, The Cruel Intentions are truly bringing their A-game, delivering their most hard-hitting, ambitious, and well-written album to date.

“Getting creative with Erik using all sorts of vintage classic amps and playing around with ideas was extremely inspiring and really did make this album feel much more alive and essential in shaping the sound. The songs were recorded old school.” – Kristian Solhaug

Working with someone they both knew and trusted to understand the band’s vision was a major lift for the production of the album.

“Recording with my good friend Erik is the coolest thing ever. Memories of a lifetime. This time he pushed me to the max, making me go crazier than ever on the drums! And I’m grateful for that. Got a good vibe from the first beat. This album is raw, hard, and in your face!” – Robin Nilsson

The band really poured their hearts and souls into the making of All Hail Hypocrisy, serving up unfiltered energy molded into feel-good hard rock.

This time around, the band also chose to focus less on pre-production and more on the production itself, seeking greater creative freedom in the studio during recording. As a result, the songs on All Hail Hypocrisy are harder and faster, while the song structures and details show more complexity and substance than on previous albums.

“This album stands out since it pretty much got formed along the way, where some of the songs changed or got finished in the studio while recording. The song ‘Wasteland’ was written and recorded on the last day in the studio. I’ve known Erik for years, but we never wrote any songs together until now, and it was pure excitement. He’s a creative genius!”
Mats Wernerson

The album itself was written between tours. Some ideas made it, some got trashed, but the result is an album that stays true to The Cruel Intentions’ raw and reckless sound, while at the same time showcasing just how much the band has evolved.

“This record’s lyrics are pretty much a reflection of everything I’ve lived in the highs, the lows, the chaos, and the bits of beauty buried in all of it. It’s about chasing dreams, screwing up, getting back up, and still believing in rock ’n’ roll even when the world feels like it’s burning. Every song came from something real. Nights that got too wild, people who pushed too far, and moments where I thought I’d lost it all but somehow kept going. It’s not about being perfect. It’s about being alive, loud, and honest.”
Lizzy DeVine

Now finally, with the collaboration with Erik (producer/mix /mastering) and a solid team effort, the stage is set for “All Hail Hypocrisy” to be released.

An aggressive melodic bombshell of a rock album!

The band concludes: “We’re extremely happy to have completed an album we are proud of and satisfied with, and are eager to present this to a rock ’n’ roll-starving worldwide audience! So it begins.”

“All Hail Hypocrisy” was released everywhere May 29th 2026.

THE CRUEL INTENTIONS ARE:
Lizzy DeVine – Vocals & Guitar
Kristian Solhaug – Guitar
Mats Wernerson- Bass
Robin Nilsson – Drums
