Marking the band’s fourth album since its formation in 2017 and the second featuring vocalist Gent Bushpepa, Generection sees CoreLeoni returning to their roots with their heaviest and hardest-hitting record to date.

Greek progressive metal heavyweights MOTHER OF MILLIONS have released their latest studio album, entitled “T”, which is out now worldwide via ViciSolum Productions.

MOTHER OF MILLIONS’ new album “T” is a record born from the tension between devastation and defiance; lyrically connecting 19th-century American poets with 20th-century Greek poets through themes of war, death, and eternity. Fueled by the relentless cycle of wars waged from above and endured from below, the record channels the roar of collapsing worlds and the pulse of those who refuse to be crushed by them.

Italian Experimentalists HOLLOW BONE Enter the Dreamworld of “Onar” with New Single ‘Innocence’

Following the announcement of their signing with Octopus Rising, Italian experimental post-metal outfit Hollow Bone now reveal “Innocence”, the latest single taken from their upcoming second studio album, Onar, due for release on October 9, 2026 through Octopus Rising / Argonauta Records on CD and digital formats.

With Onar, Hollow Bone move deeper into the atmospheric and conceptual side of their sound, presenting an album shaped around dreams, transformation and spirituality. The title comes from the Greek word ὄναρ (ónar), meaning dream or vision, a concept that lies at the very heart of the record.

For Hollow Bone, dreaming is not approached as an abstract or purely symbolic idea, but as a profound human experience capable of offering direction, revealing perspectives and inspiring a deeper sense of humility and respect. The connection is particularly personal, as each of the album’s compositions originated from a dream experienced by the band, giving the record a distinctive conceptual thread that runs through all seven tracks.

Musically, Onar continues to develop Hollow Bone’s distinctive combination of post-metal, electronics and downtempo influences, with complex layers and carefully constructed atmospheres shaping an album intended to be experienced as a whole. Rather than presenting seven isolated songs, the record has been conceived as a continuous piece, with the tracks flowing into one another and creating a single evolving sonic landscape.

The voice also occupies an unusual position within this framework. Used primarily as a sonic element rather than a conventional vehicle for narrative, it becomes part of the album’s wider textural architecture, reinforcing its introspective and imaginative character.

The world of Onar extends beyond sound alone. The album’s visual dimension has been developed through collaborations with artists Kurokawa Toru and Andrea Baldelli, together with graphic designer Francesca Papasodaro, adding another layer to a project conceived as a unified artistic work.

APOTHEUS Announce Sci-Fi Concept Album “The Complex Permutation” + Release First Video Single ‘Boundaries’ Feat. Björn Strid

The mission continues as Portuguese progressive metal band Apotheus will release their fourth studio album The Complex Permutation (out 20th November 2026) based on an intriguing Sci-Fi story, that will be released separately in text and audio format. 

Alongside today’s album announcement, the first single ‘Boundaries’ is released featuring guest vocals by Björn Strid (Soilwork, The Night Flight Orchestra). The song illustrates how boundaries of perception begin to collapse and humanity confronts an incomprehensible force beyond its control. ‘Boundaries’ is the first chapter of The Complex Permutation showcasing the whole range of Apotheus’ versatile sound. After a short atmospheric prelude the song jumps directly into towering walls of sound while vocalist Miguel Andrade presents his impressive abilities from clean vocals to visceral growls. The track lures with ever-changing rhythms and immersive atmospheric parts consisting of electronic and symphonic elements, that take their listeners on a journey through space.

“There’s a moment when everything you know stops being useful. ‘Boundaries’ lives in that moment: when time, space and certainty begin to disappear, but something inside you still refuses to surrender.”

Apotheus, known as a rising force of the European prog scene, played notable festivals like ProgPower Europe, Al Metal Fest, Comendatio Music Fest, River Stone and Laurus Nobilis Music Fest, where they’ve shared stages with the most respected names of the scene like Katatonia, Caligula’s Horse, Omnium Gatherum, Saor and many more. Furthermore they’ve opened stages for notable acts like Pain of Salvation and Gaerea in December 2025 and played their own European headliner tour in 2025. 

Their newest opus is more than an album as it withholds a conceptual science fiction story written by the band, which will be released separately in text and audio format. Set deep into outer space the unified entity GODS confronts the ancient being VOID, which seeks to eradicate all life in order to end suffering. What follows is a cosmic conflict revolving around topics like individuality, free will, hope and life itself. Combining captivating progressive metal with a science fiction story has become the trademark of Apotheus’ musical work as with their earlier albums The Far Star and Ergo Atlas also are based on science fiction stories. 

With The Complex Permutation the quartet from Portugal elevate time and space and open new dimensions of progressive metal. Top-tier songwriting combined with technical precision, driving rhythms, cinematic story telling and space-like atmospheres keep the listener captivated through the album showcasing an impressive variety inviting listeners to lose themselves in its expansive soundscapes. The Complex Permutation was recorded and mixed by Jorge Lopes at Redboxstudio, while Tesseract’s mastermind Acle Khaney was responsible for the mastering.

Mighty Music is proud to announce the release of “Electrifyed”, the brand-new studio album from NWOBHM pioneers TYGERS OF PAN TANG. The album finds the legendary British metal act returning to a heavier and more aggressive sound while retaining the melodic identity that has defined the band throughout its celebrated career.

““The heavier, the better” that was our mantra throughout the writing and recording of “Electrifyed””, singer Jack Meille comments about the writing process of the record. “We wanted to rediscover the pleasure of being driven by the powerful force of a heavy riff without losing that melodic touch all great Tygers songs have”.

Written with a clear artistic vision from the outset, “Electrifyed” draws inspiration from the raw energy of the band’s early years, particularly their landmark debut album “Wild Cat”, while showcasing the chemistry and creativity of the current line-up. The result is a collection of songs built around powerful riffs, memorable melodies and a renewed commitment to the heavy metal traditions the band helped establish.

The album also introduces guitarist John Footitt on record for the first time. Joining founding member Robb Weir, Jack Meille, drummer Craig Ellis and bassist Huw Holding, Footitts guitar skills fit the album’s muscular and contemporary sound.

To achieve the sonic impact envisioned by the band, Tygers of Pan Tang worked closely with producer and musician Marco Angioni, a longtime friend and collaborator who helped translate the group’s ambitions into a cohesive and powerful final product. The album artwork was once again entrusted to Andy Pilkington of Very Metal Art, whose striking cover concept perfectly captures the spirit and energy of “Electrifyed”.

More than four decades after helping launch the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, Tygers of Pan Tang continue to demonstrate why they remain one of the movement’s most enduring and respected names. “Electrifyed” stands as both a tribute to the genre’s roots and a statement of intent for the present day.

“It’s time to honour the musical movement that we helped to start – the ’New Wave of British Heavy Metal’. This is a brand new Heavy Metal album from us, steeped in the late 70’s, flavoured from the 80’s and ready for consumption right now!” says founder and guitarist Robb Weir.

“Electrifyed” will be released on LP (black vinyl, blue vinyl with white splatter and orange vinyl with blue splatter, each limited to 500 copies), digipack CD and digital formats on 11.09.2026, via Mighty Music.

Morten Veland (SIRENIA, MORTEMIA and founder of TRISTANIA)  released the twelfth  Mortemia song from  ‘The Cover Collab Sessions’ today. A collection of cover songs featuring different guest singers for each song. This single is a rendition of ‘Golden Leaves’ originally by Bear McCreary, featuring Zora Cock on guest vocals. The song is available on all digital platforms as of yesterday the 11th of September 2026.

“I’m proud and honoured to welcome back my friend and former collaborator Zora Cock as my special guest for ‘The Cover Collab Sessions’. A few years back I had the pleasure of working with Zora on our rendition of ‘What else is there?’. For those of you that might have missed out, you can find Mortemia’s version up on all digital platforms. This time around the choice fell on a soundtrack from ‘The Rings of Power’. A beautiful song in elvish composed by film composer Bear McCreary. When I first heard this song it instantly gave me goosebumps, and I’ve been thinking about a rendition for some time. When I finally got around to working on it, Zora’s voice instantly came into mind. So I was really stoked and thankful when Zora could find some time in a busy schedule to endeavor on another collaboration with me. I’m really excited with what we have come up with together, and we both really can’t wait to share the song with all of you. The song will be available on all digital platforms on Friday the 11th of September 2026”.

“How excited I was when I got asked by Morten to do another collab together! The first Mortemia song I featured on got such a lovely response, and I still very much love that song today. That’s why my first thought was: “How are we ever going to top that?” But then I heard what song he had in mind, something quite different, one that would take me to Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings world, on top of that… I had to sing in Elvish! I hope you’ll love the result as much as I do !!!”

During the early stages of the Covid 19 pandemic Norwegian multi-instrumentalist, producer and artist Morten Veland decided to activate his solo project Mortemia , this time with a brand new concept consisting of collaborations with multiple guest singers. ‘The Pandemic Pandemonium Sessions’ was a series of singles released on a monthly basis, each song featuring a well known and highly profiled guest singer from the metal scene. Following next was ‘The Covid Aftermath Sessions’, yet another album featuring songs, all with different guest singers. Now Mortemia is ready to endeavor on his third album in the collaboration format entitled ‘The Cover Collab Sessions’, once more the project will feature multiple amazing guest singers. This will be, as the title suggests, an album consisting of cover songs solely.
