17 CRASH Release Video for New Single ‘Higher’

Get ready to soar “Higher” with Italian rockers 17 CRASH and their new music video for their second single from their fourth studio album “Stamina” due out on November 18th via Rockshots Records.

The opening album track “Higher” is a punch in the stomach. The band continues to explain the song:

“We wanted to start on fire, getting in your ears like a Tornado. Our comeback after two terrible years is finally here, so it must be fast, heavy, and loud. This song speaks about our need to reach our life goals, focusing on what we love to do and trying to leave all the negative things behind. It’s a primal scream, a jump to reach the highest top. We all know how hard is to reach the top and remain free.”

17 Crash‘s new record “Stamina” is a much more complex and profound piece of work written entirely during the endless lockdowns from the 2020 pandemic that the world experienced. Their passion for the 80’s glam / hard n’ heavy rock n’ roll crossed with a particular duality between human struggle and the will to fight and resist against all the odds. It might seem that 17 Crash has come a long way, but rest assured they are just warming up for what’s to come.

Colliding their emotions, fears, and wishes, mixing up everything they got inside, and talking about their experiences and how they changed over these past testing years, 17 Crash explains their album in further detail.

“People should listen to this album very carefully, trying to catch the real spirit of it. Words have a very important message in this one, considering the times we are living in and what happened in 2020. The singles show what we are and what we want to say after these two terrible years. It’s like a concept about this crazy modern era and all the effects it brought to us. This record, it’s a box with all the emotions and the feeling we had during the composing process. We are talking about being us at 100% and our fans know that we always speak just about the truth. On this album, we shared everything we wanted to. No secrets, just feelings.” adds the band.

Recommended for fans of H.E.A.T, Crazy Lixx, Eclipse, Hardline, and Stryper, “Stamina” is available for pre-order at the following link – https://bit.ly/17Crash_Stamina

Through captivating, emotive, and aggressively addictive songs Yesterdaze seeks to captivate and mesmerize the listener. Their incredible live energy and the bands technical capability, paired with Armann’s unique and raw vocals, makes their live performances unforgettable, and their songs exceptionally catchy.

Yesterdaze have released ‘Know No Better‘ single, listen to it at https://orcd.co/knownobet

Both catchy and powerful with an incredible punch and ridiculously persuasive vocals this is a heavy loaded rock anthem urging you.

«The past was easy, but the hardest part is now, we know no better»

The premiere line of the first chorus strikes us with a well-known fact that postponing or escaping responsibility and truth always comes back to haunt us, and to vocalist Armann, the song sums up his anger towards his past and at the same time his fear towards the future.

Know No Better mixes the best of popular rock with something fresh and unexpected, triggering all the emotions and feelings you remember from the very first sonic experience of discovering rock music:

Or take the word of Erlend Gjerde, Managing Director at Indie Recordings,
“Yesterdaze took me right back the beginning and reminded me why the hell we do this job.”

What more is there to be said?

Yesterdaze has arrived to bring rock back in focus and pave the way for a new generation of conscious rock lovers.

Australian CIRCLES Release New Video + Single ‘Echo’

Melbourne’s alt-metal outfit CIRCLES‘ storm continues with the release of their most dynamic track yet, ‘Echo’.

‘Echo’ is the third single from their forthcoming EP The Stories We Are Afraid Of | Vol. 1, to be released 25th November via Wild Thing Records.

Stream/buy ‘Echo’ here: https://ffm.to/circles_echo
Pre-order The Stories We Are Afraid Of | Vol. 1:  https://ffm.to/circlesthestoriesweareafraidofvol1

Of the new single, frontman Ben Rechter states:

“’Echo’ is Vol. 1’s lowest point, emotionally. It deals with being well and truly at the bottom, feeling as though you deserve the hopelessness that you feel. Even if that’s not a true reflection of the situation, sometimes those inner voices block out all others with a relentless drone.”

Paired with the single is the epic music video produced by the band’s very own David Hunter. Filmed at Fabrik Studios, the clip parallels the building tension in the track as Rechter is seen despondent on the floor before contemporary dancer Bridget Lyte appears. Lyte’s movements intensify as the track grows in its dynamics and the rest of the band make their appearance. The band and Lyte unleash and purge in the track’s peak amongst a colossal white light show to close out.

The Stories We Are Afraid Of | Vol. 1 is the first instalment of an epic two-part EP, following Circles’ sophomore record, The Last One, which garnered international recognition and domestic success in Australia (#4 TheMusic’s Album of the Year 2018, #3 AIR Independent Albums). The progressive giants continue to lead the path of the international djent movement with their upcoming release, furthering the incorporation of shimmering, wavering pads, belting breakdowns and propelling percussion.

The next instalment of The Stories We Are Afraid Of continues on where the previous singles left off, by portraying themes of self-reflection and desperation to make a resolution; to fight your struggles and take the first steps to reacclimate to the life you once lived.

Frontman Ben Rechter continues:

“The overarching theme of Vol.1 is one of a loss of identity and purpose, and trying to recapture a sense of wonder and passion for life that was once a core part of you. Musically, we went into these writing sessions with a focus on being more direct than on previous albums, steering away from crowding songs with heaps of different riffs for the sake of having more riffs that we personally like in there.”

‘Echo’ starts with a resonating electronic kick drum, paired with atmospheric synths and the hypnotic despair in Rechter’s vocals. The impact of the building drums and subtle guitars reflects that growing ache in one’s head that’s filled with voices of self-doubt, paralysing pity and pressure. Dropping out for a glitched-filled interlude like the calm before the storm, the band erupt into a skeleton-shaking triple-time breakdown. Leading the track out with a bone-crushing riff and a powerful vocal delivery pleading to break from the foundations of one’s turmoil, this is one of Circles‘ most cathartic tracks to date.

‘Echo’ was mastered by Luke Cinacotta (Karnivool & Dead Letter Circus) and produced/mixed by Circles‘ own Ted Furuhashi. With the abundance of subtle auxiliary percussion, lush floating synthesiser pads and a pulsating electronic kick drum, Circles‘ new direction with production has led to a track that’s inherently progressive in nature.

Concluding their successful Australian ‘Sleepwalking’ Tour (Destroy All Lines and Wild Thing Presents) in early September, Circles have already reignited their loyal Australian fanbase and left their international community cut and craving. Prior touring history across Australia and Europe with TesseracT, Periphery, Opeth, Fear Factory, The Dillinger Escape Plan and Twelve Foot Ninja cement the veteran’s place as one of Australia’s quintessential prog/alt-metal mainstays.

Pre-order The Stories We Are Afraid Of | Vol. 1 now via Wild Thing Music Store, which has now launched European and North American webstores (in addition to the original Australia-based webstore), providing customers in those regions with a more convenient and streamlined experience.

Tracklisting:
1. Wonder
2. Bliss
3. Sleepwalking
4. Echo
5. Dig
6. Reckoning

Dutch atmospheric sludge/doom metal project SFEERVERZIEKER is proud to present its debut album “Death is the Desired Ending”, due out on October 28th, 2022.

Today, SFEERVERZIEKER are premiering the album in its entirety at Invisible Oranges. Stream it at THIS LOCATION.

SFEERVERZIEKER is a project from the Netherlands created by Sven Post (the Flesh, Grim Van Doom, Blood Diamond) early 2022 to express any form of negativity through dark and heavy riffs drenched in atmospheric and suffocating leads.

The music of SFEERVERZIEKER can be best described as sludge and doom, while other territories such as black metal are not shunned. Every instrument is handled by Sven in the studio but the main goal of SFEERVERZIEKER is to create a live entity that should give the audience the realisation all life will end.

Its first output was the 3 track demo “Wrath of the Child” released in January 2022 and was recorded, mixed and mastered by Marc van Duivenvoorde (Perimeter audio, Feast, Herder).

Immediately following the release of ”Wrath of the Child”SFEERVERZIEKER continued writing and recording the full length album “Death is the Desired Ending” at Perimeter audio.

This first full length album is mixed and mastered by Sven himself and completion took place in August 2022. With an even more atmospheric and dark approach than its predecessor, “Death is the Desired Ending” contains 6 songs with a total time of approx 39 minutes.

With lyrical themes centred around brutality, misery, negativity and the destruction mankind brings to this world, “Death is the Desired Ending” is meant to ruin moods from start to end.

Embrace depravity
Embrace brutality

Album tracklist:

01. Fall of Men
02. The Horrors We Are In
03. Sentenced
04. Masters of Insanity
05. Lost
06. Death Is The Desired Ending

MINDAHEAD Release New Single ‘Burning Horizon’ from Upcoming Album

Posted by tarjavirmakari on October 20, 2022
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: MINDAHEAD. Leave a comment

Look up to the sky to see the “Burning Horizon”, the next music video for the third single from Italian progressive avant-garde metal MindAheaD in support of their sophomore story album “6119 Part 1” being released via Rockshots Records on October 28th.

The band adds about the track:

“‘Burning Horizon’ is direct and catchy both melodically and structurally; it focuses on the voices that intersect and duet, sometimes harmoniously, sometimes aggressively opposing each other. The instrumental part is articulate, but always keeping an eye on melody and easy assimilation. The orchestrations also play an important role, providing a backdrop to the burned horizon that will turn into a desert very soon.”

MindAhead‘s next full-length offering “6119 Part 1” follows their 2017 debut “Reflections” released on Roman label Revalve Records. Just like its predecessor, the band’s new offering is once again a concept album with a complex, personal and unusual sound to test the limits of their songwriting. “6119 Part 1” is a continuation of the previous work on “Reflections”, which will tell us the story of 6119, the main character, through a surreal, oneiric journey, always poised between physical space and the realm of the mind. Trapped in this dreamlike kaleidoscope, he proceeds heedless of the consequences, hoping to find at the end of the journey (the “Part II,” currently in production) the reason why all this is happening to him.

Merging different aspects, sometimes opposite, of human feeling, bringing them together in a colorful and personal musical proposal, which has its roots in influences ranging from prog 70s to death metal, the band explains the new album in further detail:

“This album is a concept realized with the aim of telling a story that straddles the line between dystopian science fiction and the psychological investigation of the human mind, so the music and lyrics were created in order to reach these goals. We would like the listening experience to be completely immersive. We would like the listener to be able to take a break from the real world and step into another dimension, one that is distant but at the same time well known, not alien, but almost familiar. The listener should passionately follow the events of ‘6119’ in its inner and outer search for reality, in a story that began in the previous album ‘Reflections’ and will end in the band’s next release, so as to complete a narrative trilogy.”

Having shared the stage with bands such as Jinjer, Vision Divine, Deathless Legacy, Domine, Pino Scotto, MindAhead is recommended for fans of Opeth, Ayreon, Haken, Katatonia and Pink Floyd. “6119 Part 1” is due out October 28th, 2022 via Rockshots Records.
