The band comments:
Fly Free is an homage to a summer on the road! Prepare for 4 minutes of rock that will make your car radio purr! With twin guitars and a bass line that knows no bounds. You will be singing along to this one all summer long!

LIPS TURN BLUE, the acclaimed Upstate NY band whose debut self-titled album on the MIG MUSIC label has been getting rave reviews since its May 4th release, has release to a powerful live music video designed to pay tribute to Sir Paul McCartney’s for his 80th birthday.
The band’s compelling cover of “Maybe I’m Amazed,” featuring bassist Mike Mullane on lead vocals, has been a staple of the band’s set list. This is also the first recording the band has released to the public featuring LTB’s new vocalist/ instrumentalist Iggy Marino, who covers harmonies on “Maybe I’m Amazed.” Also featured is guitarist/ vocalist Don Mancuso; keyboardist Eric Bieber; and drummer Roy Stein, who joined the group during the making of the album. A live video of the Beatles classic, “Hay Bulldog” (which appears on the band’s debut album) is also set for release later in the year.
“We wanted to do something special for Sir Paul’s 80th,” said Eric Bieber.
“The music he made in The Beatles and his extensive solo catalog have inspired millions of musicians, songwriters and performers. This is our way of saying thank you for all the incredible music you have given the world.”
The band has garnered extensive positive press and 5 star reviews from outlets such as ABC NEWS, SINCLAIR BROADCASTING, CLASSIC ROCK, IHEART, YAHOO NEWS! and countless others.
The debut album and the initial videos released by the band were the last projects original singer Phil Naro was able to complete before passing away in May 2021 from cancer. His dying wish to the band was to make sure the album was released and the band carried on his musical legacy.
The group is currently booking tour dates to coincide with the album’s release. Based in Hannover, Germany and distributed worldwide, MIG Music has released albums by an extraordinary roster of acts that includes: Joe Jackson, Sheila E, Jack Bruce of Cream, Roger McGuinn, Ron Wood, Muddy Waters, Pee Wee Ellis, Maceo Parker, Weather Report, Nash Albert, Pat Travers Band, Vanilla Fudge, Richard Thompson, George Thorogood, Public Image Ltd, and many others.
DELTA BATS duo, consisting of Toby Furhmann and Don Canone, have been in this business long enough to know that they won’t reinvent rock’n’roll. They were born too late for that. But at least they were born in time to save it. After years as a well-oiled rhythm section in various bands, the two brothers in spirit have made their debut as a duo, the DELTA BATS, and have reduced themselves to what they do best: No-holds-barred low blows of drum and bass, mangy vocals and raw riffs that don’t even try to sound virtuosic. The band unmistakably pays homage to their gods – Motörhead, ZZ Top, Ramones, Judas Priest – but without losing sight of the danceability of a Samantha Fox. Wherever the Bats appear, it’s a party. People sweat and drink Coors light from cans. Shells fall from bodies that would have been better left covered. This summer, on July 29th you’re invited to join their party at Drakkar Entertainment, as Here Come The Bats!
DELTA BATS‘ first full-length album was recorded, mixed and mastered by Jan Oberg (Earth Ship, Grin) at the Hidden Planet Studio in Berlin, Germany. Following previously-released, first singles “Delta Bat” and the stoner-esque track “Hollow”, today the Bats have premiered a brand new, hilarious music video for “Wendy James”, a sequel to the “Delta Bat” video clip! Drummer Toby comments:
“The Delta Bats love Wendy James. And you’re gonna love the Delta Bats. For this song. Forget the trends and fuck the fashion!“
Nothing has changed yet everything is different when it comes to Phantom Knocks, the third full-length album of heavy psych-doom outfit GRIN. October 14, 2022 will see the Berlin-based duo consisting of the unshakeable power couple Jan and Sabine Oberg (Earth Ship, Slowshine) return with a collection of eight shamanic desert rituals that emanate from the mysterious space between the supernatural and the extraterrestrial.
The manic tribal beat of album opener “Transcendence” comes rolling in like a psychic thunderstorm, extrapolating the collision of millions of tiny aqueous ions to the mighty thunder of Sabine Oberg’s bass, which continues to send seismic shockwaves throughout the rest of the album to leave you shaking on your feet. Meanwhile Jan Oberg’s clean voice and spectral grunts create a haze through which high pitched droning guitars fade in and out, like tones of supernatural frequencies cutting through the haze of reality. Phantom Knocks takes you on a rocking ride across shifting extraterrestrial desertscapes, while your spirit flies high above in a mystic transportation through the astral plane.
Listen to the crushing album opening track, “Transcendence”, now streaming here:
The groundwork of GRIN’s trademark heavy drum and bass sound was already laid as early as their 2018 debut album Revenant, which is no surprise, since Jan and Sabine have been actively making heavy riff-laden tunes for over ten years. Their second album Translucent Blades (2020) further solidified GRIN’s brand of sludgy psychedelic doom metal with the addition of high pitched guitar drones and eerie soundscapes. Again recorded in Jan Oberg’s own Hidden Planet Studio, Phantom Knocks has the same earth-shattering qualities as its predecessors, but is in every way more vivid and more powerful, aptly demonstrating how the Berliners have perfected their chemistry.
Phantom Knocks is slated for a CD, Tape Cassette and Digital release on October 14, 2022, with a Vinyl release to follow in the Spring of 2023. The album will be issued by the band’s own label imprint The Lasting Dose Records, pre-save your copy at THIS LOCATION!

Polish heavy metal act CRYSTAL VIPER has announced the addition of drummer Kuba Galwas to the group’s ranks. „Some of you already met him and heard him playing with us on the last few shows in Spain, Germany, Czech Republic and Poland, so you know he’s a perfect fit!” says CRYSTAL VIPER front woman, Marta Gabriel. „We would also like to thank here all the drummers that auditioned, and sent their videos and messages – all of you guys rock!” she adds.
CRYSTAL VIPER released their last, eight studio album „The Cult” last year via Listenable Records, and earlier this year published special anniversary EP entitled „The Last Axeman”, which is a collection of new songs, re-recordings, cover songs, and which includes 4 songs from „The Cult” album, recorded live in studio.
