‘Creepy Symphonies’ is the most mature TRICK OR TREAT work ever, and their definitive happy metal manifesto. In between speed metal lethal bullets, intense and heartful power ballads and even a monumental 12-minute closing suite, we may find the much-needed antidote against a world taking itself way too seriously.  The album comes out on April 1st, via Scarlet Records.

A compelling journey through ten tracks that eviscerate the little horrors hidden in the so-called civilized society. The classic movie & comics monsters are back and, guess what?, now they are more scared than us.

This twisted parallel dimension is depicted in true Trick Or Treat fashion, addressing topics like environmental issues, cyberbullying and social media addiction with an unique uplifting twist. 

The Italian band remains true to its foundation though, paying the dues to personal childhood’s myths: yep, it’s a very rare and thrilling case of Peter Pan syndrome!

Brian May’s Red Special Book Now Translated into Spanish

The new expanded and updated version of the book Brian May’s Red Special – the story of the homemade guitar that shook Queen and the world, written by Brian May and Simon Bradley has been translated into Spanish by guitarist Danny Gomez.

Commenting on the Spanish translation May said: ‘That’s a great idea!!”, and Simon Bradley added ‘Danny is the man. I have complete confidence in his ability to do a great job with this! It’s a huge job and it couldn’t be in better hands.’

This book allows readers to discover everything they wanted to know about Mays’ unique instrument. May talks about all aspects of the Red Special, from its birth to playing on the roof of Buckingham Palace, from Live Aid to the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics and beyond. All this accompanied by original schematics, sketches and notes dating back to the construction of the guitar as well as a large selection of photographs including ones of May on stage with the Red Special, closeups and X-Rays.

In the book May explains: ‘My Dad and I decided to make an electric guitar. I designed the instrument from scratch, with the intention it would have a capacity beyond anything out there, more tuneable, with a greater range of pitches and sounds, better tremolo and able to feed thorough the air in a ‘good’ way.’

Polish DECEADED Sign With Wormholedeath, Debut Album Coming in April

Polish Groove/Thrash Metal quartet DECEADED have signed a licensing deal with Wormholedeath for their album “The Sole Destroyer”, due for release on April 22nd, 2022 worldwide.

Every dream has its beginning, has its end, it needs time, mistakes, action and does not come true right away. You go step by step, achieving smaller goals leading to bigger ones. Today, we would like to proudly announce the achievement of just a major one. Deceaded have signed contract with Italian label Wormholedeath. The Sole Destroyer has been given the unique opportunity to spread around the world via The Orchard Inc. / Sony Music Ent. Now, the story begins.

First album of the band, The Sole Destroyer is the essence of anger and frustration, it’s aggressive, loud and straightforward. Hard and melodic riffs, groovy drum beats, punchy bass lines, expressive and complex vocals make The Sole Destroyer an authentic experience. Lyrics focus on disaster, stupidity and mistakes of human race. It also warn about future of the planet and consequences of our behavior as society. 

Deceaded is a Polish band established in 2017. After almost 4 years the band saw the light of day with their single “The Edge” promoting their debut album titled “The Sole Destroyer”, containing elements of thrash, nu, groove and alternative metal. It’s pure energy, full of anger, frustration and hope – a four piece machine ready to show you the metal’s genuine essence. Hard and melodic riffs, groovy drum beats, punchy bass lines, expressive and complex vocals – that’s Deceaded. Their power lies in their age, huge amounts of energy, strength, ideas, and anger. All these elements give an extraordinary sense of authenticity to what the band represents. NITE Announce April U.S. Tour Dates with BEWITCHER

Blackened heavy metal outfit NITE will be embarking on a West Coast U.S. tour in support of BEWITCHER this April! The trek will kick off on April 17 in Boise, ID and will stop in Houston, TX for the Hell’s Heroes Festival before concluding in Oakland, CA on April 29. The full run of dates can be found below! Prior to the tour, NITE will also be playing an album release show in their hometown of San Francisco at Thee Parkside on April 8.

NITE is touring in support of their brand new sophomore full-length, ‘Voices of the Kronian Moon,’ which will be released this Friday, March 25, via Season of Mist, making it the band’s debut to the label! The band recently dropped the third single, “Edge of the Night,” which can be heard at THIS LOCATION.

NITE comments on the trek: “We are thrilled to emerge from two years of darkness and join forces with Bewitcher to blacken the highways of the West all the way to Hell’s Heroes and back.”

SEVI Release Single + Official Video ‘Hate You’, Mixed/Mastered by Kane Churko

Bulgarian Heavy Rockers SEVI have revealed the official music video for their new single, “Hate You”. Mixed and mastered by the legendary KANE CHURKO, “Hate You” was directed by Nikola Koparov, featuring the band performing the brutal auditory gem with incredible, apocalyptic visuals, and is off of the band’s upcoming, 4th album.

SEVI is also gearing up to tour with Hardline in Switzerland (May 2022) and were recently chosen to support EPICA at the Yunak Stadium in Sofia on April 30th.

SEVI are Svetlana Bliznakova – SEVI, Rally Velinov, Pavlin Ivanov and Alexander Kirilov.

Known as one of the most successful rock bands in Bulgaria, SEVI captured the public attention with their original and recognizable style, the powerful female vocals and melodic songs that can be often heard on the radio.

The band was part of the lineup of the biggest festivals in Bulgaria so far and has numerous concerts in Europe. Their music was highly appreciated by famous artists like Johnny Gioeli (Axel Rudi Pell), Thomas Vikstrom (Therion), Jen Majura (Evanescence), Luca Princiotta (Doro Pesch), who also participated in collaborations with SEVI in their albums.

Not only that but SEVI were invited to open the shows of the big stars like Europe, Black Stone Cherry, Tom Keifer, Nightwish and Evanescence in Sofia.

New Project NIGHTED (Cellar Darling, Eluveitie) Release Debut Single ‘Aeons’

Introducing NIGHTED, the new genre-bending black metal synthwave duo, who announce themselves with their debut single ‘Aeons’, out now via Klang Machine Records.

Nighted are Ivo Henzi (vocals, guitars – ex-Eluveitie, Cellar Darling, Forest Of Fog) and Marc Petralito (synths, Appearance Of Nothing). One late and misty summer night, in the enforced lockdown of 2020, the two struck on the idea of mixing black metal with 70s-era synth, à la Blade Runner and Jean-Michel Jarre: and Nighted is the result.

Their first resulting proof-of-concept is ‘Aeons’, the first single from their upcoming debut album Absence: an introspective journey rising from the soul’s abysses to the universe’s endless expanses, where fierce and aggressive sounds meet anthemic, epic soundscapes. Guitar riffs rooted in modern black metal meet analogue synthesisers and Hammond organ evoking the sound of the 70s and 80s, creating a unique and compelling take on extreme music.

Ivo Henzi comments:
‘With ‘Aeons’, Nighted is born. In the overall context of the album, this is both the fastest and the longest song. We took up a 10 year-old riff idea of mine and reinterpreted it completely, to form a track that describes a destructive journey of interdimensional beings, heavily influenced by old science fiction stories. Marc and I realised immediately that this was the right song to introduce Nighted to the world.’

‘Aeons’ is but the first of a series of songs that will be unveiled throughout 2022, leading up to Nighted’s debut album Absence.

‘Aeons’ was recorded and mixed by Anna Murphy (Cellar Darling, Eluveitie & many more) at Lucerne’s Sound Farm Studio, with drums performed by session drummer Dylan Watson (Kassogtha) and mastering by Dan Suter (Coroner, Eluveitie, Krokus & many more). Nighted are signed to the newly-formed heavy music label Klang Machine Records, co-founded by drummer and artist manager Merlin Sutter, (Cellar Darling and Eluveitie).
