With a bond forged in youth and decades-old friendship, the undisputed masters of thrash metal released their eleventh studio album, PERSONA NON GRATA, last fall via Nuclear Blast Records. Today, EXODUS bring the heat with the music video for “The Fires Of Division“.

Gary Holt states, “Time for our next video. This one is for “The Fires of Division” and it actually has the band in it! This video was super fun to make, as it was the first time the band had gathered together in some time! And it’s also pre-order kick-off day for our new picture disc, limited to 2800 units worldwide, and our yellow-tinted cassette limited to 300! SICK!”

Literally translating to an “unwelcome” or “unacceptable” person, PERSONA NON GRATAtouches on themes of modern societal disgust and degradation. The band gathered at Tom Hunting‘s house in the mountains where they produced and recorded Persona Non Gratafrom three home-built studios . Steve Lagudi was at the helm of engineering while the band enlisted Andy Sneap of Backstage Studios to mix the album. For the third time in the band’s history, they returned to Swedish artist Par Olofsson to create the album artwork.

CROSSPLANE Release New Single/Video ‘Make Beer Not War’

CROSSPLANE have released their second single – “Make Beer Not War”.
Sometimes reality catches up with a planned release and a song that has already been written gets an unexpectedly topical reference. “Make Beer Not War” is just such a song.

The band hit the nail on the head with their message to the song:

“When the song ‘Make Beer Not War’ was written, we didn’t realize how once again war would show its ugly side in this world. And now the situation is more relevant than ever. We wish it wasn’t like that. But we must never stop showing that we are against violence and war!”

Since their founding in 2009, CROSSPLANE have been on all available stages from club tours to Wacken. FASTLANE will be the fourth album by Heavy Rock’n’Roller and will be released on April 22nd, 2022. The new album will be promoted extensively live. In addition to various festival confirmations, after the release concert on April 21, 2022 in the Rockpalast Bochum, the tour with J.B.O. before Crossplane are on the road with Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons in the fall.

WITHOUT WARNING keep evolving as they release their second single “Insanity” via Inverse Records. The band is slowly forming their identity as a new band in the scene and they’ve decided to take a darker turn with their new single.

“Insanity” is definitely taking things up a notch as it is an quite unexpected piece after the lighter first single “Delusion” with accompanied blue neon lights. As we hear darker and heavier elements with the instruments, we’re also surprised to hear the vocalist Micha let out some unheard grunts beside her lighter tunes.

“Our second single “Insanity” is definitely going to paint our identity clearer and this is the route we’ve decided to continue on as we grow with the band. I’ve always been a fan of darker sounds and horror aspects, so I’m obviously super excited to have that incorporated.” says Micha.

The single has a clear storyline and gets more intense the further you go, without forgetting the heavy electronic elements. A strong second single which is definitely worth listening to.

DYNAZTY Premiere Impulsive, New Music Video for ‘Yours’

There are plenty of reasons why musicians succeed in getting the optimum out of their creative talent. In case of Swedish melodic metal act DYNAZTY and their forthcoming, eighth studio album, Final Advent, the extra time forced upon them by the pandemic may have been one important factor, but it would be short-sighted to attribute their impressive new material solely to the time they had to write, record and produce their new offering. At the end of the day, Dynazty appears as an ambitious band who has invested all their talent and experience, combined with a healthy dose of enthusiasm, ambition and tremendous compositional and musical expertise.

Fans have been patiently awaiting the band’s upcoming magnum opus, but this summer, your wait is finally over! Final Advent has been announced for a release on August 26, 2022 through AFM Records, and will mark the band’s most cohesive, imaginative, complex and at the same time most homogeneous album to date in Dynazty’s 15-year career. But give ear, as today the Stockholm-based quintet released a third album single taken of their Final Advent! A dreamy and epic tale of lust and loss packed within a crescendo of musical arrangements and performances – ”Yours” represents a stand out and centerpiece track on the new Dynazty album.

The album was produced by the band themselves and primarily recorded in Love Magnusson`s studio in Stockholm, drums were recorded in Denmark at the Hansen Studios (owned by sound icon Jacob Hansen, who also mixed and mastered the album). The cover artwork was designed by Brazilian artist Gustavo Sazes, who has also worked for British Lion (feat. Iron Maiden bassist Steve Harris), Kamelot, Firewind, Iced Earth and Nils Molin’s second band, Amaranthe. Molin: “It’s meant to be ambiguous, just like the album title ‘Final Advent’. ALICE IN CHAINS’ JERRY CANTRELL Releases New Animated Video ‘Siren Song’

As he gets ready to hit the road, Iconic singer, songwriter, guitarist, and Alice In Chains co-founder JERRY CANTRELL has released the animated video for “Siren Song”, off of his most recent album Brighten.

Bloody Disgusting exclusively premiered the new video saying, “The new animated video, directed and animated by Nate Merritt, shows a western-themed fantasy world that could be a trip through the mind of the songwriter but can also be interpreted by the viewer as a metaphor for life’s challenges: work, love, and loss mixed with the beauty of a life well-lived. Lots of easter eggs for Jerry fans but also fun and haunting video for the song itself, rife with wildlife, wilderness, and wandering travelers.”

Jerry begins his North American tour in support of his new LP, Brighten, released late last year. The tour kicks off next week at the Palace Theater in St. Paul, MN on March 24, 2022 and winds its way around North America hitting major cities such as Toronto, CN, Chicago, Detroit, Nashville, NYC, Philadelphia, Seattle and Los Angeles to name a few. STÖNER (Feat. Brant Bjork, Nick Oliveri) Release New Single ‘Party March’

As STÖNER are currently gearing up for the release of their upcoming, second studio album, the desert rock super-group has just premiered a brand new single taken from totally…, out on May 6, 2022 via powerhouse label Heavy Psych Sounds Records!

If the name Stöner seems a little on the nose, well… it is. Brant Bjork and Nick Oliveri, founding members of stoner rock legend Kyuss, are joined again by drummer Ryan Güt (of Bjork’s solo band) and they’ve got dibs on the thick and dusty swinging grooves, returning as Stöner with their sophomore release totally… . Stöner’s love for their early inspirations (bands like Blue Oyster Cult, Kiss, Ramones, Blue Cheer, Misfits, Black Flag, The Stooges, MC5) result in big, groovy, sunbaked riffs that can cruise low and slow but then floor it and run all the red lights.

After the previously released, first track “A Million Beers”, Stöner invite you to “Party March” on their new, heavily groovin’ single! Says the band: “As the wise Chuck Dukowski once said to me ..‘It’s all about the Party March’…. So… let your good times roll, let them sooth your soul. March! March! March!”

Live, this is a band about the magnetism between the players, the groove, the loose vibe and straight up badass rock and roll…(Check out their upcoming tour dates HERE!). Stöner are masters of their trade. With totally… the band is in its true form, getting together and having fun. Stöner’s world is a colorful joyride, heavy of rock but not of head. The record cranks with vibes of classic hard rock, heavy blues, desert rock and psych rock jams – things that come organically to this trio. Stöner can’t help but express an abundance of punk rock rawness and passion for real rock and roll swagger.
