WITHOUT WARNING keep evolving as they release their second single “Insanity” via Inverse Records. The band is slowly forming their identity as a new band in the scene and they’ve decided to take a darker turn with their new single.
“Insanity” is definitely taking things up a notch as it is an quite unexpected piece after the lighter first single “Delusion” with accompanied blue neon lights. As we hear darker and heavier elements with the instruments, we’re also surprised to hear the vocalist Micha let out some unheard grunts beside her lighter tunes.
“Our second single “Insanity” is definitely going to paint our identity clearer and this is the route we’ve decided to continue on as we grow with the band. I’ve always been a fan of darker sounds and horror aspects, so I’m obviously super excited to have that incorporated.” says Micha.
The single has a clear storyline and gets more intense the further you go, without forgetting the heavy electronic elements. A strong second single which is definitely worth listening to.
There are plenty of reasons why musicians succeed in getting the optimum out of their creative talent. In case of Swedish melodic metal act DYNAZTY and their forthcoming, eighth studio album, Final Advent, the extra time forced upon them by the pandemic may have been one important factor, but it would be short-sighted to attribute their impressive new material solely to the time they had to write, record and produce their new offering. Fans have been patiently awaiting the band’s upcoming magnum opus, but this summer, your wait is finally over! Final Advent has been announced for a release on August 26, 2022 through AFM Records, and will mark the band’s most cohesive, imaginative, complex and at the same time most homogeneous album to date in Dynazty’s 15-year career. But give ear, as today the Stockholm-based quintet released a third album single taken of their Final Advent! A dreamy and epic tale of lust and loss packed within a crescendo of musical arrangements and performances – ”Yours” represents a stand out and centerpiece track on the new Dynazty album.
Says vocalist Nils Molin: ”Call it a power ballad if you will, but to me it’s simply a powerful song, albeit in a slower and more dynamic way than most our stuff. One of my favourites!”

The album was produced by the band themselves and primarily recorded in Love Magnusson`s studio in Stockholm, drums were recorded in Denmark at the Hansen Studios (owned by sound icon Jacob Hansen, who also mixed and mastered the album). The cover artwork was designed by Brazilian artist Gustavo Sazes, who has also worked for British Lion (feat. Iron Maiden bassist Steve Harris), Kamelot, Firewind, Iced Earth and Nils Molin’s second band, Amaranthe. Molin: “It’s meant to be ambiguous, just like the album title ‘Final Advent’. Advent means the arrival of an important thing or person.”
As he gets ready to hit the road, Iconic singer, songwriter, guitarist, and Alice In Chains co-founder JERRY CANTRELL has released the animated video for “Siren Song”, off of his most recent album Brighten.
Bloody Disgusting exclusively premiered the new video saying, “The new animated video, directed and animated by Nate Merritt, shows a western-themed fantasy world that could be a trip through the mind of the songwriter but can also be interpreted by the viewer as a metaphor for life’s challenges: work, love, and loss mixed with the beauty of a life well-lived. Lots of easter eggs for Jerry fans but also fun and haunting video for the song itself, rife with wildlife, wilderness, and wandering travelers.”
Jerry begins his North American tour in support of his new LP, Brighten, released late last year. The tour kicks off next week at the Palace Theater in St. Paul, MN on March 24, 2022 and winds its way around North America hitting major cities such as Toronto, CN, Chicago, Detroit, Nashville, NYC, Philadelphia, Seattle and Los Angeles to name a few. If the name Stöner seems a little on the nose, well… it is. Brant Bjork and Nick Oliveri, founding members of stoner rock legend Kyuss, are joined again by drummer Ryan Güt (of Bjork’s solo band) and they’ve got dibs on the thick and dusty swinging grooves, returning as Stöner with their sophomore release totally… . Stöner’s love for their early inspirations (bands like Blue Oyster Cult, Kiss, Ramones, Blue Cheer, Misfits, Black Flag, The Stooges, MC5) result in big, groovy, sunbaked riffs that can cruise low and slow but then floor it and run all the red lights.
After the previously released, first track “A Million Beers”, Stöner invite you to “Party March” on their new, heavily groovin’ single! Rochester, NY death metal act UNDEATH have today shared Necrobionics, the bludgeoning third single to be taken from their upcoming sophomore album, It’s Time… To Rise from the Grave. Alongside the tracks release, UNDEATH have shared the accompanying music video today via YouTube. Necrobionics’ visual component is a homage to the classic video game series Doom.
It’s Time… To Rise From The Grave is set to be released via Prosthetic Records on April 22.
Of the single, Kyle Beam (guitar) comments: “Necrobionics is the defacto mosh track off It’s Time… When we drop this one live, it’s going to leave the pit looking much like the chorus says, with “Piles of death, corpses en masse”. The track’s lyrics draws a lot of aesthetic influence from the early doom/quake games, with the video paying homage to some of my favorite pastimes.”

UNDEATH traveled to Philadelphia to record It’s Time… To Rise from the Grave with Scoops Dardaris at Headroom Studios in March-April 2021. Dardaris rough-mixed on the fly during the recording sessions, and then required two more weeks after to finalize the mix. Not ones to sacrifice a working team, they brought on Arthur Rizk (Creeping Death, Enforced) to master.
In four years, UNDEATH have done the unlikely. They have two celebrated, oft-streamed demos, a coveted Decibel flexi disc, two brutish videos (Acidic Twilight Visions,Entranced by the Pendulum), completed a riotous 30-date American tour mid-pandemic with The Black Dahlia Murder, and released a fan-obsessed full-length in Lesions of a Different Kind. To stop now would be contrary to UNDEATH’s diehard, work-hardened ethos. Indeed, they’re forging ahead. It’s Time… To Rise from the Grave undoubtedly levels up UNDEATH.
