Finnish melodic death/black metallers SE, JOSTA EI PUHUTA are back from the dead! The band is set to release their third studio album Gehenna on April 22nd 2022 via Inverse Records. The first single Gehenna is released today and music video, watch below.

Vocalist Samu Männikkö comments:
“Gehenna was selected to be the first single for the upcoming third full length album. It represents a rebirth after a long hibernation, an eternal punishment that no atonement can make undone. At the same time, it is a place where chaos defines the order and total darkness represents the purest enlightenment. The boundaries of real and surreal are disappearing until they lost their meaning for good. We will embrace what is yet to come and ask for more. We have forged our own shackles and cast the foundation for our scaffolds long ago. Let’s face the final dawn under a starless sky!The video honours the production values of first half of 90’s. The material was filmed in the local “Valley of Hinnom”, a location that remains unknown for all eternity.”

Drummer Ragnar Sverrisson of Icelandic Tech Death outfit OPHIDIAN I is now unveiling a brand new drum play-through for the track “Enslaved in a Desolate Swarm,” which is taken from the band’s new album, ‘Desolate.’ The video, which showcases Sverrisson’s sharp and technical prowess, can be seen at THIS LOCATION.

Sverrisson comments on the video: “‘Enslaved in a Desolate Swarm’ is one of my favourites off the album. It gives the album a little bit of a breather by starting out with a heavy slam part before delving into some interesting technical parts where the whole band plays and accentuates the sweeping triplet melodies together. The last part of the song is also really fun with lots of variation between each round of the riffs. This is a really fun song to play.”

‘Desolate’ can be streamed, downloaded, and purchased at THIS LOCATION.

Blackie Lawless talking about the 40th Anniversary World Tour, “For the W.A.S.P. 40th Anniversary World Tour we’re going back to the beginning. We’re taking the show back to where it all started. Complete with all the fire and all the blood that shocked the world the first time. We only did this type of show on the first world tour and never did it again…until now! I’m gonna scream and I’m gonna bleed, cause I Wanna be Somebody! We’re taking everybody back…back to the beginning!”

About W.A.S.P.
Few Bands in the history of Rock N’ Roll have ever incited the love, the hate, the raw emotional effect this Band has had on the world. From the very beginning, in the small venues of Los Angeles California, and later to the numerous countries worldwide that banned these Winged Assassins from performing live, the Band’s unique style of Shock and Rock caused Religious organizations, Local City Councils, Parlaments, and the Washington D.C. Senate to hold hearings in an effort to bar this group from selling records and trashing stages everywhere they played.

The band’s founding member, frontman Blackie Lawless, has led the group as its lead vocalist and primary songwriter since its beginning. His unique brand of visual, social and political comment took the group to worldwide heights and sold millions of records alongside a legacy of sold out shows across the globe for 4 decades.

Joined by bassist Mike Duda and guitarist Doug Blair, whose tenures in the band span 26 and 18 years respectively, along with drummer extraordinaire Aquiles Priester, will take the Band and the Fans back to where it all started. Complete with the stage show extravaganza that many fans never saw live.

India’s GIRISH AND THE CHRONICLES Release New Album “Hail To The Heroes” on February 11th, New Single & Video ‘Primeval Desire’ Revealed

Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to announce the release of “Hail To The Heroes”, the upcoming new album from India’s GIRISH AND THE CHRONICLES on February 11, 2022. The new single and video, ‘Primeval Desire’ is out now.

Earlier in 2021, frontman Girish Pradhan had this to say about “Hail To The Heroes” ahead of the band heading into the studio: “It will have all the musical elements that we love to hear, in our day to day lives, which of course revolves around good old Rock ‘n Roll. From the Sunset Strip to NWOBHM and more. Our audience can expect some great anthems!”

Watch ‘Primeval Desire’ HERE:

And GATC has more than delivered on that promise. “Hail To The Heroes”, the band’s third album overall, sees the band taking huge leaps forward from their previous album, “Rock The Highway” (2020). The album grabs you from the opening notes of album opener “Primeval Desire” and never lets go, just like their musical heroes classic albums have always done. “Hail To The Heroes” is a sonic journey that you will be thrilled taking over and over again. Girish continues, “We are a hard rock/melodic rock/heavy metal band. We like making the kind of music that we grew up listening to, which revolves around the ’80s. However, we do like including a song or two that may have a very different vibe. Could be in the form of a progressive song or maybe a riff that has a bit of “India” in it. All in all, we think of it as a roller coaster ride with the meanest in-your-face songs to beautiful ballads. We feel no matter how dedicated we are to the art, we still should not stop ourselves from exploring more, but without losing the essence of what we truly love.”

GATC has released two acclaimed albums, their debut “Back on Earth” (Universal Music India) and the more recent 2020 release, “Rock The Highway” (Lions Pride Music). The debut album, currently unavailable on streaming platforms, will be reissued by Frontiers at a later date.

Starting off in the city of Gangtok in Sikkim, India, and now based out of Bengaluru in Karnataka, GATC are known for their soaring, powerful vocals, biting guitars, thunderous bass, and pounding drums, staying true to the authentic ‘80s heavy metal/hard rock sound which they grew up with. Many rock outlets, listed GATC’s “Rock the Highway” on their list of top Top Rock/Metal Albums of 2020 and the group has gained a cult following with ’80’s and ’90s hair metal and hard rock aficionados.

GATC is also well known in the Indian rock scene for electrifying live shows and have toured across the nation and beyond. The group has supported bands ranging in variety from American alt rockers Hoobastank to Finnish rockers Poets of the Fall to German thrashers Destruction. Additionally, the band has been part of various leading music festivals in India consistently. They also recently toured with/backed ex-Lamb of God drummer Chris Adler during his performances in India. Vocalist Girish Pradhan is also part of the international metal group, Firstborne, which is led by Chris Adler, James Lomenzo and Hugh B. Myrone. He has also toured the UK, France, Spain, Portugal and other territories with his other side projects in the past. In their 11 year existence, they have been credited by many fans for bringing the classic hard rock culture back in India and are an inspiration to many new and upcoming bands in the scene.

Tracklist:
1. Primeval Desire
2. Children Of The Night
3. I’m Not The Devil
4. Love’s Damnation
5. Clearing The Blur
6. Lovers’ Train
7. Rock And Roll Jack
8. Hail To The Heroes (intro)
9. Hail To The Heroes
