IF I DIE TODAY Premiere New Single ‘Light’ from Upcoming Album

Everything Is Noise is now hosting the exclusive video premiere for “Light”, the new single from Italian post-hardcore outfit IF I DIE TODAY, taken from the band’s upcoming album “I Felt Nothing”, due out on June 19, 2026.

“Light” showcases the defining traits of IF I DIE TODAY’s current sound, where a sharper and more aggressive approach is channeled into a direct, immediate and highly dynamic songwriting style. Built around massive riffs, urgent rhythmic shifts and emotionally charged vocals, the track balances raw intensity with a strong sense of momentum, further highlighting the band’s evolution towards a heavier and more focused identity.

While maintaining the tension and emotional weight that have always characterized their music, IF I DIE TODAY push their sound into more violent and uncompromising territory, without sacrificing immediacy.

Watch “Light” at THIS LOCATION.

“I Felt Nothing” arrives as the result of a slow, deliberate maturation process, during which the group has sharpened and fully defined its identity at the crossroads of hardcore, metal and rock’n’roll. The riffs are BIG and unapologetically present, yet the music never falls into uniformity, constantly shifting between tension and release through dynamic rhythmic changes and a strong sense of urgency. The overall mood is both tense and mocking, creating a constant push-and-pull between pressure and a kind of bitter, sideways irony that runs through the album’s atmosphere. On top of this solid instrumental foundation, the vocal work introduces subtle but effective variations in tone and approach, adding extra layers of character without breaking the core intensity.

The result is a complete, fluid, and highly dynamic album that reinforces IF I DIE TODAY’s status as a reliable and distinctive force within the European underground. It also reflects a heightened awareness of songwriting balance, where impact and nuance coexist without compromise, giving the record both immediacy and depth that reward repeated listens.

Tracklist:

1. Lungs
2. King
3. End (feat. Mare)
4. Dark
5. Monsters (feat. Alex Rope)
6. Rachel
7. Isolation (feat. Papero Tons)
8. Light
9. Cowards
10. 1984
11. Tar (feat. Santa Infall)

IF I DIE TODAY are an Italian post-hardcore band formed in 2007 in Northern Italy. Their sound is rooted in hardcore punk, enriched with metal and rock’n’roll influences, gradually evolving into a more hybrid and personal style over time.

After their early releases and EPs, the band significantly refined their identity with “Cursed” (2015), where they expanded their sound by blending hardcore, punk, metal, rock’n’roll and stoner elements into a more mature and distinctive formula. This evolution continued with “The Abyss In Silence” (2022), a darker and more aggressive concept album focused on grief and loss, built on epic guitar riffs, tight rhythmic structures and intense vocal delivery.

Renowned for their high-energy and uncompromising live performances, IF I DIE TODAY have toured extensively across Europe and Russia, sharing stages with bands such as The Dillinger Escape Plan, Every Time I Die, While She Sleeps, Beartooth, The Offspring, and many others, building a solid reputation on the live circuit.

In 2025 they released a live recording from Bloom featuring Helmet. Their upcoming album “I Felt Nothing”, due on June 19, 2026, will be released in co-production with Tifone Crew, Vollmer, Flamesdontjudge, Shove Records, Poison Hearts, Oltraggio Produzioni and Masseria Autogestita. The record was produced and mixed by Dano Battocchio at Deepest Sea Studio, mastered by Will Putney at Graphic Nature Studio, with artwork by Alberto Becherini.

Over nearly two decades, the band has maintained a coherent yet evolving identity, balancing hardcore intensity with a broader and increasingly experimental sonic approach.

FAMOUS STRANGERS Release New Video Single ‘Ghosts of Men’ + Announce Self-Titled Debut Album

Emotional, raw, and unpredictable – a combination that makes Famous Strangers not only stand out, but also showcases their unapologetic confidence with everything they do. Sounds that are curated through years of experience, lyrics taken from real situations delivered with heart, and a chemistry between band members that is unmatched: This is what makes the Edmonton based band so special. Ranging from heavy metal and hard rock down to intimate blues featured in their upcoming debut album “Famous Strangers” (release: August 21, 2026), the four Canadians got it all – and they are ready to take the music world by storm and turn heads wherever they go. It’s a fearless introduction built on honesty, self-discovery, and the power of knowing your worth. Drawing heavily from personal experiences, the record captures the highs, the setbacks, and the growth that comes with learning to move forward. The band explains: “At its core, it’s a reminder that no matter what you face, you’ll be okay and come out stronger on the other side.”

Each track lives and breathes in its own space. Some lean into gritty, old-school textures, others unfold slowly with haunting, melodic depth while the rest arrives with an intensity that hits like a truck. There’s no attempt to fit into a mold – only the commitment to raw emotion, authenticity, and storytelling that accompanies the listener throughout the whole journey.
As a debut, it’s both an introduction and a statement. The band isn’t just releasing music: They’re creating a space for listeners to feel empowered, to reflect, to find energy and love, or simply to exist as they are. It’s an invitation to take the ride, wherever it leads.

Leading the way into their new album, Famous Strangers unveil “Ghosts of Men”, the first single arrived today, on May 29, 2026. It’s a raw and electrifying track that nearly didn’t make it onto the record at all. Originally written instrumentally, years before the band even formed, the song was revived last minute and transformed within a matter of days. With lead singer Amanda’s deeply personal lyrics bringing it to life just in time for the studio, the band created something magical: Fueled by gritty, hard-rock energy, “Ghosts of Men” dives into the vulnerability and emotional spiral of being ghosted. It captures the loneliness, overthinking, and sense of becoming invisible yourself. The accompanying music video takes a bold, imaginative turn, portraying exaggerated scenarios of what might be happening on the other side of silence. With Amanda stepping into the male role, it adds a striking, metaphorical twist. Unapologetic, unconventional, and emotionally charged, the single sets the tone for what’s to come.

About Famous Strangers

Formed in 2023, Famous Strangers are the product of years of shared history within the music scene of Edmonton, Canada. Long before the band took shape, Jeff Kittlitz (Guitar, Backing Vocals) and Brian “Beej” Beejerson (Drums, Backing Vocals) had been writing together, following the dissolution of their previous band project This Is War around 2013. Their collaboration laid the groundwork for what would eventually evolve into something much bigger.
As the years progressed, Braden Sustrik (Bass Guitar, Backing Vocals) joined through mutual connections, and the trio began developing instrumental material together. During the COVID era, their project shifted direction, transforming into a classic rock cover band. While this period refined their chemistry as artists, the defining moment came when Amanda Kiernan (Lead Vocals) joined a rehearsal to jam. Her immediate connection to an original track marked a turning point. At that moment, Famous Strangers found their band identity: What had been an open-ended collaboration suddenly became a fully realized band.

Though officially formed in 2023, the members of Famous Strangers had spent decades crossing paths, sharing stages, and building friendships. This history fuels their chemistry and sound, with each member contributing to a cohesive and dynamic lineup.

Drawing from a wide range of influences, Famous Strangers blend elements reminiscent of Judas Priest, Pink Floyd, Halestorm, Spiritbox, and Metallica, while also reflecting inspiration from Iron Maiden, Nightwish, and beyond. At the same time, their roots remain firmly grounded in the Edmonton scene, drawing influence from local bands and veteran musicians who helped shape their early careers. Today, the band continues to build on that foundation, channeling years of experience, collaboration, and shared passion into a sound that is both unpredictable and distinctly their own.

Brazilian rock trio ELECTRIC MOB are proud to share the new live version of “Sun Is Falling,” taken from the upcoming digital deluxe edition of their sophomore album ‘2 Make U Cry & Dance,’ set for release on July 10th via Frontiers Music Srl. The digital deluxe edition will feature the full studio release alongside six live tracks performed at Capital Moto Week 2024.

On the live version of “Sun Is Falling,” the band shares:

” ‘Sun Is Falling’ is our rage against modern society and its endless ways to bleed the world dry. No matter the cost, or the lives involved. It’s all about profit and selfishness.

This Live version stays true to the grit and anger we felt when we wrote it, full of energy and big performances.”

Without hiding their classic rock influences and driven by a modern, restless vision, ELECTRIC MOB are unafraid to break away from clichés and push rock fans beyond their comfort zone.

Hailing from Curitiba, Brazil, the band burst onto the scene like a mad dog on the loose with their debut album ‘DISCHARGE’ (2020). Raw, unapologetic, and emotionally charged, the record broke through borders, surprising international audiences and carving out space on rock radio stations throughout the United States and Europe.

In January 2023, the band released their second album, ‘2 MAKE U CRY & DANCE,’ earning positive reviews across multiple countries. This was followed by a Brazilian headlining tour through 12 cities in six different states. The momentum continued as ELECTRIC MOB joined forces with Project 46 for a nationwide run that expanded into Brazil’s Northeast.

Their live streak carried into 2024 and 2025 with a strong presence at major festivals, including Summer Breeze Brasil, now known as Bangers Open Air, where Billboard Brasil cited the band as “one of the most praised performances of the event.” Additional highlights include a main stage appearance at Capital Moto Week, which resulted in the live recording ‘Live @ Capital Moto Week,’ and performances at Porão do Rock (DF), Mundial Rock (SC), SBO Rock Fest (SP), and HackTown (MG).

On the upcoming deluxe release, vocalist Renan Zonta comments:

“We’re thrilled to release this super special edition of something we’re very proud of. The DLX version of our second album ‘2 Make U Cry & Dance’ comes with kickass live and raw cuts and it’s here to reinsure the power inside this beautiful cake. Give it an extra spin while we’re cooking a new one ⚡️😈”

Guitarist Ben Hur adds:

“We’ve always considered ourselves a band forged on stage. That’s where everything truly comes to life. In this deluxe release of our second album, we’re capturing a part of that energy and sharing it with fans who haven’t yet had the chance to experience it with us in person.”

Argonauta Records is proud to announce the signing of Copenhagen based sludge/doom trio DYING HYDRA for the release of the band’s upcoming new material.

We are looking forward to what will come and will enjoy it all the way.”

Emerging from the Danish underground with crushing heaviness and a ritualistic approach to sound, DYING HYDRA have forged a distinctive identity built on massive low end, abrasive distortion and hypnotic atmosphere. Blending raw aggression with emotional depth, the band delivers immersive compositions that move across sludge, doom, stoner and heavy psych territories with remarkable intensity.

Formed in 2018, the trio features Lars Pontoppidan on guitar and vocals, Patrick Fragtrup on guitar and vocals, and Tejs Kyhl on drums. Through relentless live activity, DYING HYDRA have become a respected presence within the Scandinavian heavy scene, performing at events such as Copenhagen Metal Fest, Colossal Weekend, Sonic Ritual and Blacksworks Tattoo Convention, while sharing the stage with acts including Bongripper, Primitive Man and Konvent.

Their critically acclaimed albums “Of Lowly Origin” and “Strange and Beautiful Things” established the band as one of the most compelling emerging names in contemporary sludge and doom, combining monolithic riffs, haunting atmospheres and destructive sonic weight into a sound both punishing and deeply immersive.

THE OCEAN Announce New Album “Solaris” + First Video Single ‘Light Pollution’ Out Now

Posted by tarjavirmakari on May 29, 2026
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: The Ocean. Leave a comment

A lot of bands wouldn’t have recovered. From 2022 to 2025, post-metal visionaries The Ocean lost two-thirds of their members, with the lineup that made fan-favourite albums Phanerozoic I (2018), Phanerozoic II (2020) and Holocene (2023) stripping itself away. After a victorious final bow at Hellfest last year celebrating this lineup that had lasted for over a decade, only founding guitarist, songwriter and lyricist Robin Staps, longtime bassist Mattias Hägerstrand and new drummer Jordi Farré (also of Crippled Black Phoenix) remained.

Those who stayed could easily have called it quits, but instead, they rebuilt with and re-emerged with Solaris: the most ambitious album of The Ocean’s 25-year career. A near-70-minute journey to the stars and back, it’s based on late Soviet filmmaker Andrei Tarkovsky’s masterpiece of the same name.

The first single from this upcoming album, ‘Light Pollution’, begins with familiar synth textures that connect seamlessly to its predecessor, Holocene, before gradually picking up momentum and moving in a different direction. The song culminates in a towering, slow-burning finale of orchestral grandeur, suffocating heaviness, and subdued rhythmic complexity.

Solaris will be released via Pelagic Records on 25th September. Pre-order: https://orcd.co/theocean-solaris

“Orbital motion or particles and grains of sand / is there any meaning in these patterns”, new vocalist Enrico Tiberi sings at the beginning of the song. Orbital motion is not only the gravitationally curved trajectory of a celestial body; in another context — alluding to early scenes in the film Solaris — orbital motion in water refers to the circular or elliptical paths water particles follow as waves pass through, transferring energy without moving the water itself forward.

‘Light Pollution’ explores the pitfalls of 21st-century technology and humanity’s growing obsession with simulated reality. But do the many technological and social advances of recent decades truly represent progress? “We’ve witnessed several communication revolutions throughout the 20th and 21st centuries, but have we actually become any better at communicating?” comments Robin Staps. “Has there really been forward movement, or has the motion been orbital — have we merely been treading water? Light pollution symbolizes the transparency of the postmodern age, permeating everything and everyone. Everything is constantly visible; we’ve lost the darkness to hide in, and with the relentless glare of communication, we’ve also lost our privacy.”

For the music video for ‘Light Pollution’, The Ocean have enlisted the talents of filmmaker Craig Murray (Mogwai, Converge), to create a narrative arc that combines the arrival of new vocalists Lane Shi and Enrico Tiberi with the song’s lyrics. Murray’s attention to detail is a match for The Ocean; his specificity with regards to costume, design and props elevates the visual accompaniment to ‘Light Pollution’ to a cinematic level.

With their 12th studio album, The Ocean usher in a new era in the band’s 25-year history. Emmanuel Jessua of Hypno5e and Marco Gennaro join on guitar, while vocalists Enrico Tiberi and Lane Shi (Elizabeth Colour Wheel, Otay:Onii) step in to replace Loïc Rossetti.

For the recording of Solaris, the band further expanded its creative circle with contributions from Thorsten Quaeschning of Tangerine Dream on modular synthesizers. Jens Bogren, who previously mixed the band’s landmark albums Pelagial and Phanerozoic I and II, once again handled mixing and mastering.

Solaris is arguably the boldest album to bear The Ocean‘s name so far. It’s musically intrepid, it’s conceptually fascinating and it’s got many vital things to say about the world around us. The band have well and truly resurfaced, and they’ve done so in shimmering form.

Track list:
1. 52°30’11” N, 13°26’12“ E
2. Departure Song
