US Melodic Black Metal band THE NOCTAMBULANT have inked a deal with the Dutch label Non Serviam Records.
Their new album will be released autumn 2021 as a physical CD Digipak and through all digital platforms.
Comment by The Noctambulant: “To become a part of the Non Serviam Records family is an achievement that we are very proud of. We know several Non Serviam bands already and we will now form an alliance so powerful that only darkness can master.
Added by Non Serviam Records CEO Ricardo Gelok: “By hearing the first dark, melodic and evil tones of The Noctambulant, I knew that this is a band that I have to sign. Every time I listen to their, I experience a dark ritual. The Noctambulant is an asset for the label, and we are really pleased to work with this great, and hard-working band!”
Gore fueled death metallers PATHOLOGY recently announced their 11th studio album, “The Everlasting Plague”, will be released on November 19th via Nuclear Blast. Today, the band releases the lyric video for the second single ‘As The Entrails Wither’ which can be seen here:
PATHOLOGY’s Dave Astor comments, “We’re stoked to release our newest single, ‘As The Entrails Wither’! In true PATHOLOGY fashion, this song is about a stronghold with its outer walls draped in rotting bodies as a deterrent for unwanted guests. There are lots of twists and turns in this song and we’re stoked with how it came out!”
Experimental Sludge outfit ERDVE are now streaming the virtual live performance that was recorded in at the Lukiškės prison in Lithuania in September 2020. The unique experience was captured in full by No Brake productions and can be viewed at THIS LOCATION.
About the location: The stage at the Lukiškės Prison was set up in a round 4-level hall, which is a main part of the 1st prison block that used to serve as a death row for prisoners a while ago. After the death penalty became prohibited in 1998, the 1st prison block was only used for prisoners serving a life-sentence right until 2019 relocation of inmates to another prison.
ERDVE comment on the show: “Our goal was to enhance the eerie atmosphere of the prison architecture with our musical performance, yet you could still feel the smell and the surrounding energy from the recent prison life. We are happy to be able to share this documented footage shot by NO BRAKE productions, providing a closer look from multiple points of view.“
ERDVE is supporting their brand new album, ‘Savigaila,’ which was released on July! Stream, download, and order HERE.

San Diego quartet AS I LAY DYING have released a video visualizer for their new single, “Roots Below”. Staying true to the sound they are known for, the track is the first single initially written during the Shaped By Fire writing sessions. Watch the visualizer here:
Phil Sgrosso states, “‘Roots Below’ was a track I initially wrote for the Shaped By Fire album, but at the time we collectively felt it needed more time and attention to develop to its fullest potential. We were finally able to piece it all together along with some other material taken from the Shaped By Fire touring cycle, bundling it all into a deluxe version of the album. Apart from the studio versions of ‘Roots Below’ and ‘Destruction or Strength,’ there will be an assortment of live songs captured on tour from 2019 in Europe, several ballad/electronic re-interpretations, a studio version of an instrumental track we wrote exclusively for the live show, an instrumental version of the entire album, as well as some other transitional pieces from our set that we wanted to share as part of this release. This has been a very productive first step towards getting back into the creative zone and beginning to focus on new material for next year.”
Today, the band also shares details for the deluxe edition of Shaped By Fire which is scheduled for later this year. Stay tuned for more information.
Below is the Shaped By Fire Deluxe Edition tracklist: 1. Re-Separation (instrumental) 2. Roots Below 3. Destruction or Strength 4. My Own Grave (re-interpretation) 5. Redefined (re-interpretation) 6. New Jersey six-piece FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY — Joseph Badolato [vocals], Patrick Sheridan [guitar], Timothy Howley [guitar], Will Putney [guitar], Peter Blue Spinazola [bass], and Josean Orta Martinez [drums] — have announced their sixth album “Oh What the Future Holds.” The record arrives on January 14 via Nuclear Blast. Pre-save it HERE.
Today, the band has shared the video for first single “Far From Heaven.” Watch it here:
“This song felt like a worthy introduction to premiere the album, picking up where we left off creatively from our last release,” the band says. “Although there are more drastic dynamic turns on the new album, ‘Far From Heaven’ delivers from a more simplistic and primal place. Lyrically, this record digs a little further into internal turmoil as well, but this song is in a way a much more literal and grounded representation of our continued frustration with institutions and class gaps that exist in all facets of society. The powerful video, directed by Eric Richter, is a great thematic visual counterpart to the inherent dark nature of the song. Hope you enjoy it — we certainly do.”
OH WHAT THE FUTURE HOLDS TRACK LISTING: “Oh What The Future Holds” “Pandora” “Far From Heaven” “In Shadows” “Two Towers” “A Higher Level Of Hate” “Collateral Damage” “Savages” “Conditional Healing” “The Man That I Was Not”
