On November 5th, MØL return with their second studio album, “DIORAMA“. With the first singles already being released and the band having recently announced a new European tour for early 2022, the Danish blackgazers are perfectly prepared for a ferocious attack that will further cement their position as pioneers of the modern black metal scene. Recorded and mixed by Tue Madsen (Gojira, Meshuggah, Heaven Shall Burn), “DIORAMA” will unveil a captivating and aggressive sound even further and today, the band unleashes a music video for their single ‘Vestige‘, that deals with gaslighting and our constant wish to free from reality with the cheapest means that the world offers to us. Watch the music video here:
The band comments on the song and the video:“Gaslighting takes on many forms and our willingness to subject ourselves to an illusion knows no boundaries. However rotten and hollow the core – we still buy into the idea of purchasable raptures, frail salvations, an escape from modern meaninglessness. The video juxtaposes a sunbathed, stylized expression with inspiration from Dario Argento’s colorspace of Susperia from 1977 with vivid colors and high contrasts. Unpleasant and unnerving, yet lavish and extravagant shots are interposed with the performance of the band, spiraling through daylight to nighttime in the vibrant interior of the Dome.”
Release gigs for “Diorama“: 28.10.21 Aarhus – Train (Diorama Release Show) 05.11.21 Aalborg – Aalborg Metal Festival 2021 06.11.21 Copenhagen – Hotel Cecil (Diorama Release Show)
Inspired by bands like My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, Drop Nineteens, Lantlôs and Alcest, MØL released their self-titled debut EP back in 2014. A year later they perfected their sound with their second EP “II”, produced by Jacob Bredahl and released in 2015. Both EPs were well received and drove them on to do some emphatic live shows which were praised by press. In 2018, MØL made an international breakthrough signing with Holy Roar Records (UK) who released their debut album ‘Jord’ to critical acclaim. The record was recorded at Grapehouse Studios and mixed and mastered by Chris Kreutzfeldt. The album was also released as an instrumental version and in 2019, the band re-released their two first EPs, remastered for CD and vinyl.
Doom Metallers WEIRD TALES have teamed up with Metal Shock Finland to premiere, for Finnish territory, their new video “ZZ”, recorded live at Kongo Studio in Warsaw, Poland.
The weird approach on this one is mixing stoner doom sludge and heavy psych in a way that delivers to every heavy music fan. It takes you to the long trip with insane riffs, psychedelic sonic wall, crazy composition and unexpected changes.
Hard rock band ARTIFAS released the official music video for their new single “LEAVE ME FOR DEAD”! The single is from their forthcoming album titled Reflections due out November 19, 2021.
“Leave Me For Dead is a song about abandonment and the struggle to overcome the emotions associated with it. We’ve all had that person in our lives that we trusted, just to find out that they would leave us for dead when things got tough. This song is about just being in disbelief over something like that and the internal battle that follows when you’re left in doubt…” says the band.
American Hard Rock band Artifas was formed in 2011 in Jackson, TN by lead guitarist Cody Criswell and lead vocalist Scottie Somerville. In the months following, the two founders of the group would immediately recruit an assortment of hometown musicians and begin looking to record their debut EP. After having a long and ugly encounter that resulted in the theft of all the bands funds and receiving no album in return, the original incarnation of the group would spend 2012-2013 doing several independent tours and writing music. After debuting with their EP Enemy Inside in 2013 and doing numerous regional/national tours in support of it, the band replaced former members with guitarist Mikey Miller, bassist Anthony Mattox, and drummer Jared Wainscott.
With almost two years of touring with the new lineup under their belts, Artifas inked themselves a record deal and hit the studio to make their first full length album. The 2015 release of the title track, “Inhuman,” would bring the band some commercial success, reaching # 32 on Billboard’s Active Rock chart and sending the band on the road in support of their new album. The band landed tours with established artists like Theory of a Deadman, Shamans Harvest, Pop Evil, Saint Asonia, Aranda, and others. The follow up single from that record, “Blood 4 Blood”, would later get picked up by the World Series of Fighting and subsequently land a feature in the UFC movie “Fight Valley”. The band parted ways with their record label in 2016, and remained on tour throughout the US for most of the following year, also traveling internationally for the first time with the likes of Papa Roach, Hoobastank, P.O.D., Trapt, and Sick Puppies to play for our American Troops.
Multiple tour cycles later, Artifas found themselves back in the studio making new music. The band worked with multiple writers and producers throughout the entirety of 2018, but would ultimately only find themselves frustrated with the recordings that resulted. After a soul search within the group, Artifas elected to embrace their own vision and write/produce their next album independently, free from the creative overreach of outside influence.
After two years of writing, recording, and mixing, Artifas has completed the new album, and plans to unleash it upon the world. With catchy guitar riffs, dizzying drums, and soaring melodies, Reflections will send you on an emotional journey, exploring the band’s semi-prog, radio rock sound while diving deeper into the human complex with lyrics centered around self awareness and the bands own struggles with mental health. The goal for the creation of this album was to make a record that met the band’s expectations and you can rest assured they held nothing back. Mixed and Mastered by Forrester Savell (Twelve Foot Ninja, Karnivool, Dead Letter Circus), Reflections promises to wow you with musical prowess, all the while delivering Artifas’ important message on unity, inspiration, and the sempiternal battle between dark and light.

The video recently premiered via The Obelisk and the feature can be viewed here.
Fungal Realm is the 7th song on the Cavern Deep concept album released on Interstellar Smoke Records worldwide on vinyl and digital distribution the 23rd of July 2021.
The songs synopsis is as follows: “I am alone.. Traitors! They could not endure..Out of sight.. Engulfed.. I am abandoned.. The spores burn.. Burn my lungs. The pulsating mass is limitless.. layers of layers.. The triangular gate.. The bridge.. I can see it.. I must reach it! Before this horrid, rotting organism takes hold of my mind completely.. ”
One archaeologist and 49 men stand at the gates of a previously unknown civilization, for a moment staring down into the bowels of the mountain before they begin their decent. The journey downwards turn out to be more dangerous than expected, they climb down through whirling stairs lit only by organic fluorescent lights.. Further down the path turns more and more crumbled, eventually they must use ropes to traverse the broken bridges and tunnels over the deep chasms below. Filled by the promise of treasure they continue downwards. Many men go missing as they’re tasked to explore diverting tunnels, they never return and their screams are followed by silence. the only thing found is their safety ropes, driven by greed the archaeologist continues the expedition.

In August 2019, power metal newcomers NORTHTALE released their successful first album “Welcome To Paradise”. After their debut show at SABATON OPEN AIR in Sweden followed by shows in Japan, the band underwent a lineup change and after months of auditions, the new vocalist, Guilherme Hirose from Sao Paolo, Brazil was chosen.
Now, after releasing several re-recorded songs from “Welcome To Paradise” with Guilherme on vocals, the band finally announces their new album, “Eternal Flame”, which is set to be released on November 12th via Nuclear Blast. Produced by Dennis Ward (PINK CREAM 69, UNISONIC), the album features 12 brand new tracks and a whole range of new influences, from thrash metal, classical citations and Brazilian traditional music, all fused into NORTHTALE’s own brand of melodic power metal.
Today, the band unveil the first single ‘Only Human’ – a fast-paced, anthemic tune that comes with a lyric video.
Guitarist Bill Hudson comments: “The time has come! After almost two years of hard work, a lineup change and a global pandemic, we’re very happy to tell you we’re releasing our new album, “Eternal Flame”. Our friends at Nuclear Blast have picked ‘Only Human’ as the first single. A short, straight to the point Power Metal track packed with every element that makes up our music. Sonically, it’ll sound very familiar to the fans. Lyrically, it talks about the moment we’re living in, where power structures are starting to crumble and people are rising up to what they believe in, in search of evolution. But we also make mistakes, and that’s exactly what makes us human. We learn by trial and error and become wiser that way. I know it sounds cliché, but this album is very superior to our debut. Also, I got some of my amazing friends to guest on it! I simply cannot wait to hear everyone’s reaction. For now, enjoy ‘Only Human’ and we’re looking forward to meeting everyone this winter in Europe with UNLEASH THE ARCHERS and STRIKER.”
“Eternal Flame” features guest appearances from legendary icon Kai Hansen(HELLOWEEN/GAMMA RAY), his son Tim Kanoa Hansen (INDUCTION), Jonas Heidgert (DRAGONLAND) and Mary Zimmer (HELION PRIME). The album artwork was created by Gustavo Sazes (MACHINE HEAD, AMARANTHE, KAMELOT)
