CRIPTA BLUE Reveal Album Details & Share Brand New Song

Italy’s up and coming power rock trio, CRIPTA BLUE, who just recently signed a worlwide record deal with Argonauta Records, has finally revealed more details about their upcoming album! The band’s self- titled, first full length record will be out on September 24, 2021 and available on Vinyl and as Digital formats.

CRIPTA BLUE was formed in 2019 by members of bands like Desert Wizard, Thrash act Rising Dark and Talismanstone. Being no strangers to the heavy music scene, the trio skilfully plays an enthralling and vibrant blend of psych rock, heavy power blues and a remarkable sound of the NWOBHM doom rock era between Blue Cheer, May Blitz and Saint Vitus. The baritone vocals of frontman and bassist Andrea Giuliani are shrouded by acid and fuzz rock soundscapes, full of power blues and with the soul of doom, without any doubt CRIPTA BLUE‘s upcoming debut could easily make it on several Best-Of lists by the end of this year.

Today, the trio hailing from Ravenna shared a first single, featuring WITCHWOOD frontman Ricky Dal Pane on guest vocals! The lead singer of the Italian cult band gives the song its authentic and true 70’s spirit: ‘Tombstone’ is a perfect example of finest proto doom, that has the psychedelic mood you can’t help but to dive into, gloomy lyrics and the hint of a cult horror classic. IMARI TONES Meld Traditional With Christian On New Album ‘Nabeshima’

Nabeshima is a new double album by Japanese Christian metal band IMARI TONES. It incorporates Japanese traditional essence into Christian metal music. The band has been making music independently for a long time and it’s hard to say how many records they have made so far, but if you count their English/International releases, this will be their 9th album.

Nabeshima is a double album consisting of 24 songs. While people may be amazed at the volume, it certainly takes listeners to a mysterious journey through ancient Japan. Unknown fantasy world where Japanese traditional culture and Christianity meet. The songs are sung both in English and Japanese. 11 songs are sung in English while 11 songs are in Japanese. The other 2 tracks are instrumental.

The musical style is very diverse. It has some of the heaviest songs from Imari Tones, as well as some of the most outlandish progressive songs. At the same time it has straightforward pop songs and beautiful ballads.

And yes, it has a spiritual factor. Tak doesn’t deny it. It has some strong Christian messages. which some people may be offended by. But Imari Tones always try to be as much fun and entertaining as they are spiritual and religious which they have proved both in live and studio situations. Their international fans know it and people understand what is unique about Imari Tones once they experience the music.

Imari Tones has been an indie band that produces such quality music you will wonder where they have been hiding until now. But soon, that will change with Nabeshima. Ancient Japanese secret will be revealed and its message will change the world. Or at least you will be amazed at this, one of a kind, religious metal music.

Morten Veland (SIRENIA, MORTEMIA + founder of TRISTANIA) has released an official lyric video for the song ‘Death Turns a Blind Eye‘, the second single from ‘The Pandemic Pandemonium Sessions’. The song features Marcela Bovio (MaYaN, DARK HORSE WHITE HORSE) on guest vocals, watch below!

After 11 years of silence Norwegian multi-instrumentalist, producer and artist Morten Veland finally found the time to re-activate his solo project Mortemia once more, this time with a brand new concept. ‘The Pandemic Pandemonium Sessions’ is a series of singles that will be released on a monthly basis, each song featuring a well known and highly profiled singer in metal. Marcela Bovio is a well known name in the genre as she has already enriched bands like Stream of Passion, Ayreon, MaYaN, The Gentle Storm, Dark Horse White Horse with her stellar vocal performances. With Morten and Marcela teaming up for the song ‘Death Turns a Blind Eye’ the outcome has turned out to be something extraordinaire that surely will be appreciated by both artists fan bases, but surely by many others as well.

Morten Veland: I am proud and honored to introduce Marcela Bovio (MaYaN, DARK HORSE WHITE HORSE) as my special guest for ‘The Pandemic Pandemonium Sessions’. Marcela Bovio: I’ve known Morten for quite a few years now, we met officially when touring together back in 2009. I’ve always been impressed by his musical vision and songwriting talent, he writes amazing songs with beautiful melodies. And if you know me you know that I’m all about the beautiful melodies! Since we hadn’t spoken in quite some time his invitation came a bit as a surprise, but it was of course very flattering; and after listening to the song I was sold! ‘Death Turns a Blind Eye’ is a wonderful track, just like I would expect from Morten; it has an amazing chorus with some nice vocal layers. I’m really happy with how it came out, and I hope both Mortemia and Marcela Bovio fans enjoy it as well 🙂

August 20, 2021, will see Swedish old school death metal act, DAEMONICUS, return with their third studio album, entitled Eschaton, on Black Lion Records. It’s the band’s first album in nine long years.

DAEMONICUS burst into the extreme and death metal scene in 2006, with several demo EPs and two highly acclaimed full length records to date, the four- piece also took the stages by storm and toured with acts such as Christ Agony and Groteskh. Several line- up changes may have hit the band hard, but did not stop founding members PO Wester and Jörgen Persson to continously writing song material. With a new and strong line- up backed by bassist Martin Pudas and David Ekevärn on drums, this summer DAEMONICUS will return with their most confident and brutal work to date:Eschaton features nine razor- sharp and blistering tracks, showcasing a crushing blend of modern and old school death metal sound, yet it remains true to DAEMONICUS‘ core at the same time as progressing both as musicians and as a band. While the record marks the beginning of a new era for them, DAEMONICUS have recorded a masterpiece of Swedish death metal, and one that will proove to stand the test of time.

Religion manifests in the shape of “The Demon” and the story lets the listener witness the events through it’s eyes.”
