NIGHTFALL Premiere New Music Video ‘Martyrs of the Cult of the Dead (Agita)’

Greek melodic metal masters NIGHTFALL are now premiering the official music video for the song “Martyrs of the Cult of the Dead (Agita)” via OnlyFans! The decision to use this platform is to circumvent the arbitrary and harsh censorship restrictions across all social media, including YouTube, due to nudity and excessive violence. The video, which was created by Antoine de Montremy, can be seen for FREE at THIS LOCATION.

NIGHTFALL vocalist Efthimis Karadimas comments, “We are honored to have our ‘Martyrs of the Cult of the Dead,’ aka ‘Agita,’ being made by Antoine de Montremy, the producer of Chris Holmes’ documentary ‘Mean Man’ (official selection in 2020 Hollywood Gold Awards, Florence Film Awards, Orlando Film Festival and FMX) and his fabulous team. The video is based on ‘Agita’ lyrics and it represents the struggle with depression through its personification in female form (the word “depression” is a female noun in the Greek language). OnlyFans premiere has been chosen to avoid problems with YouTube’s strict policy towards nudity and violence. Especially the latter. This is not a porn video.”

Video director Antoine de Montremy adds, “In pure Nightfall fashion, approaching this video and the song’s concept has been quite a challenge: Efthimis already had a very precise vision for ‘Agita’ and we wanted to honor both the song and its message.

“Opening up about depression and its very solitary struggle is quite a brave move in nowadays so well polished metal world. Introducing female metaphors and pushing all boundaries was the only path to illustrate this inner struggle between love and hate, comfort and fear, joy and despair.

“Blessed with Hanna and Fanny’s outstanding performances – embodying all feelings human mind can experience – and thanks to the greatest filming crew ever, we are happy to unleash the fury of Agita to the world!”

‘At Night We Prey’ is out NOW and can be streamed, downloaded, and purchased HERE.

The album artwork for ‘At Night We Prey’ was created by Travis Smith.

PENTRAL announce the release of the second video, The Shell I’m Living In, from their album “What Lies Ahead Of Us”. The video was premiered on BraveWords and is now available worldwide. You can watch the video below.

Lead singer Victor Lima discussed the new video, “The Music video was recorded in our home town in Brazil – Belem, with many shots taken from the historic center of the city and some scenes in flashback from the previous recordings in the woods nearby, and the band playing in the forest as well. We had some issues doing that because many scenes were captured in the middle of people who were in their ordinary working days. This was intentional to make it more authentic, as many people there were doing their own things, and we naturally paid attention not to show anyone’s clear image without their previous approval. The recordings of “The Shell I’m Living In” took us a couple of days. We’ve been graced with amazing days and nights, brilliant acting performances from the actresses Anne and Duda, an inspiring direction by Roger Elarrat and beautiful Photography by Lucas Escocio. The whole team was incredible  and emotive, and this intense atmosphere really stood out through the video.”

“What Lies Ahead Of Us” was released on May 7, on all platforms.

“What Lies Ahead Of Us” Track Listing:

1 – Silent Trees
2 – All My Wounds
3 – Disconnected
4 – Letters From Nowhere
5 – Aiming For The Sun
6 – A Gift From God
7 – No Real Colour In Souls

9 – Are You Satisfied?
10 -The Law

Produced by Pentral and Tim Palmer
Mixed by Tim Palmer

JINJER Announce New Album “Wallflowers”, Reveal First Single ‘Vortex’

Teased over the last few months with just the hashtag #JINJER4, JINJER have now dropped the biggest heavy music news of the year: The band will release their long-awaited new studio album, entitled Wallflowers, on August 27, 2021 via Napalm Records.

Through their relentless hard work, non-stop international touring and critically acclaimed chart-topping releases gaining them over 250 million cross-platform streams/views – JINJER are inarguably one of modern metal’s hottest and most exciting bands today. The band has become synonymous with doing things their own way and breaking every rule in the heavy metal handbook, which is loudly evident on their highly anticipated fourth studio album and the successor to the groundbreaking Macro.

Eugene Abdukhanov adds:
“Growing creatively has always been a major goal for us. The day JINJER stops reaching for new musical horizons- will be our last day as a band. We could have churned out what our peers expected us to do or produce Pisces clones without end but we’ve never done that and we never will. Instead, we wrote an album whose level of emotions range from the fiercest aggression we’ve ever had, to the most intricate melodies and melancholic vibes you could ever get from our music. We decided to rip apart all possible stylistic boundaries without regard to financial success or competing with our previous albums. Wallflowers is a different kind of album musically and visually. It’s about our identity as a band, as individuals and a clear statement that we are different from most artists … and that it is OK to do your own thing.”

Already regarded as one of the most anticipated metal albums of the year, with Wallflowers, JINJER once again prove their exceptional knack for mixing groove, prog, alternative and experimental influences to create a sound unlike anything that has ever come before it.

JINJER’s first video and single “Vortex” drop jaws with a massive look and some serious groove!

Along with an impressive new music video, the band just dropped their hypnotizing first single “Vortex”. This first taste of the new album features Shmayluk’s vocal power entwining with the eclectic, propulsive spiral aura of the track, not only showcasing the four-piece’s tonal diversity, but also proving their individuality once again. The accompanying music video holds up a black mirror to current world events: Qualitatively in the absolute top league and featuring an interplay of potent band shots and virtual features, the four minute track devours the viewer with destructive energy, and on the other hand represents the gloomy, absorbing mood and oppression of an entire period of time.

JINJER state:
“”Vortex” is the first. The first song we recorded and the first single we played live (at Hellfest From Home 2021). This is a perfectly balanced song in our opinion. A story told through the music and it deserved a video to perfectly match it… The video is a journey, giving the single another layer, another message, as Tatiana sings about the burden of heavy thoughts and how devastating it can be, the video mirrors what the world has sadly become for many of us …”

Watch/Listen to “Vortex” HERE:

Wallflowers not only presents a methodical and premeditated next step in the band’s already imposing career, but moreover, it mirrors the personal adversities they’ve faced due to the worldwide events over the last year. Wallflowers is not only an upgrade to the progressive groove metal sound that all JINJER fans crave, but also a sonic pressure cooker of technical musicianship, emotional fury and an intense soundtrack befitting the harrowing state of the world today. Hailing from the conflict-ridden Ukrainian region of Donetsk but now calling Kiev their home base, JINJER truly do not mince words – or riffs – on Wallflowers. Their exceptional precision of modern metal paired with tough as nails attitude has earned them a fiercely loyal, rabid fanbase and massive critical acclaim, making JINJER one of the most talked about bands today and garnering them many sold out performances across the globe. With nearly all of JINJER’s releases composed between vans, backstage rooms and constant touring, Wallflowers continues where its predecessor Macro left off, only this time with less distraction and more time to focus on songwriting.

SUN OF THE SUNS Reveal Debut Album ‘TIIT’ Details

Extreme metal visionaries SUN OF THE SUNS have released the details of their debut album ‘TIIT’, set to be released on August 20th by Scarlet Records.

Formed by members of established extreme metal acts such as Carnality, The Modern Age Slavery and Nightland, Sun of the Suns is a new, exciting musical project consisting of vocalist Luca Scarlatti and guitarists Marco Righetti and Ludovico Cioffi.

The album features Simone Mularoni (DGM, Empyrios) on bass and Fleshgod Apocalypse’s maestro Francesco Paoli on drums and was produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by Simone Mularoni himself at Domination Studio (San Marino). The artwork was created by Ludovico Cioffi.

Here is the tracklist:

1.  I, Demiurge pt. I
2.  I, Demiurge pt. II
3.  The Golden Cage
4.  TIIT
5.  Obsolescence Corrupted
6.  To Decay, To Revive
7.  Flesh State Drive
8.  Hackin the Sterile System
9.  Of Hybridization and Decline
10. I, Emperor of Nothingness

‘TIIT’ is an intelligent and thought-provoking Sci-Fi concept-album based on a tale set in a future, dystopian and contaminated Planet Earth.

Sun of the Suns’ identity is suggested by their moniker itself: a cosmic order vitally inked to a fundamental polestar that is “innovation” – and every element of the band’s sound revolves around it and is destined to evolve continuously.
