VELVET INSANE deliver their second single and music video “Sound of Sirens” from their upcoming album “Rock ‘n’ Roll Glitter Suit”. A 60’s pop gem made for the modern day. The track is written by the legendary Sulo Karlsson of the Diamond Dogs who also has produced and wrote the tracks together with the band on the upcoming album “Rock ‘n’ Roll Glitter Suit”.

The band comments:
“We feel very proud about this catchy singalong pop gem and that it shows a slightly different side of Velvet Insane. Strongly influenced by The Beatles and 60’s pop music it gives you shivers and shows our passion and love for all kinds of music. A song we really looking forward to playing live and feel the energy from the audience in the future. With the video, we want to celebrate where we come from: the 70’s. Kiss, ABBA, Slade and glam rock/pop in general have meant so much to us in our musical upbringing. 1970’s influences in pictures and music but with the sound of today.”

The eleven-track long album manifests Velvet Insane as a rock act to count on for years to come. “Rock ’n’ Roll Glitter Suit” is released via Wild Kingdom on July 16.

THERION Release Music Video For “Eye Of Algol”

THERION‘s seventeenth Studio album, “Leviathan,” was released on January 22nd, 2021, and proved to be another big success for the symphonic metal pioneers. It has entered world-wide album sales charts peaking at #8 (Rock & Metal) in the UK, at #11 in Germany and #14 (physical) in Sweden, only to name a few. Today, THERION are proud to release another music video for a track taken off of “Leviathan” called “Eye Of Algol“. It refers to the ‘demon star’ Algol (“al-ġūl” means “the demon” in Arabic), a multiple star consisting of 3 separate stars that has an ominous connotation in astrology and is also referenced in the works of H.P. Lovecraft. The video features performances by both the female and the male lead singers whose voices can be heard in the song, Rosalía Sairem & Thomas Vikström, as well as mythical creatures, blood, fire & swordfights, picking up where its predecessors, “Tuonela” and “Die Wellen der Zeit,” left off.

Two decades into their journey as ritualistic black metal conjurers, WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM have emerged from the forest with “Primordial Arcana”, their most majestic album to date, and their first release via Century Media Records (outside of USA and Canada) and Relapse Records (USA and Canada) out August 20th.

“Mountain Magick was shot in the northern reaches of the Olympic Mountains and the ancient forests that shroud the foothills.  We wrote the story, created the costumes, shot the footage and did the editing ourselves, so it is a true product of our hearts and souls.  Creating our own videos has been a long standing dream and now It’s very exciting to bring these Visions into the Cinematic Realm.” 

“Primordial Arcana” is the band’s first completely self-contained work: In addition to composition and performance, brothers Aaron and Nathan Weaver alongside guitarist Kody Keyworth handled all aspects of recording, producing and mixing at their own Owl Lodge Studios in the woods of Washington state.

In the spirit of old school power metal, German up-and-comers HAMMER KING have gathered to release their third single, “Awaken The Thunder”, and set ablaze on their new album, Hammer King, out tomorrow, June 11 via Napalm Records!

Since GHØSTKID aren’t shy of exploring creative limits they are excited to release a very special co-operation with the overseer of a futuristic dystopian word: IMHUMAN. While “FØØL (INHUMAN Remix)” is available on all digital platforms already the matching video clip.

GHØSTKID himself comments: “A little while ago INHUMAN and I got in contact via Instagram and I directly fell in love with the dark and atmospheric sound. We had planned to re-release a track of my album as a remix for a while and he was the perfect choice for the job. The FØØL remix is a great symbiosis between our two worlds and I’m pretty sure that there will be some more projects in the future.”

GHØSTKID’s music is a headlong dive into darkness and aggression. It aligns on new paradigms: baring its teeth while keeping a sense for catchy melodies. GHØSTKID is the new namesake of Sebastian “Sushi“ Biesler and a conspiracy of friends and likeminded allies who have come to a riot of their own.
