Metal songwriter, producer and keyboardist ADRIAN BENEGAS has released his new single and video “Orphan of Life”. The soaring symphonic metal track features FIREWIND vocalist Herbie Langhans, and the production skills of Benegas together with renowned producer Sascha Paeth (Avantasia, Kamelot, Rhapsody, Epica, etc).
Throughout the second half of 2020 during the pandemic of COVID19, Adrian’s been busy working and producing new songs together with vocalist Herbie Langhans, who was also the lead singer on his debut album, The Revenant. This time around, Adrian has also teamed up with producer Sascha Paeth. “Orphan Of Life” is the first single of the upcoming production to be revealed, with more tracks being released in the coming months.
Benegas explains that, “It’s a song to rage out and get all the anger out at those who tried to break our spirits”. “Orphan of Life” is the anthem for the outsiders, for the ones that never truly fit in, like me. You should funnel that anger and negative energy to fuel your heart and desire to stand up and to climb even higher. Instead of feeling down, we should remember to use that pain to unleash the fighter inside us. We all have it!”
Benegas is known for being the founder of symphonic metal act Tragul, as well as his debut solo album The Revenant. On these productions he has worked with numerous world class musicians and producers including Ralf Scheepers (Primal Fear), Henning Basse (Metallium, Mayan), Zuberoa Aznarez (Diabulus in Musica), Alex Holzwarth (Rhapsody of Fire), Oliver Holzwarth (Blind Guardian, Tarja), producer Jacob Hansen (Amaranthe, Volbeat, Epica), and producer Mika Jussila (Nightwish, Sonata Arctica).
Spain’s leading Thrash Metal band ANGELUS APATRIDA are releasing their 7th, self-titled album today worldwide via Century Media Records.
The band comment about the album as follows: “This new album is the culmination of one year working nonstop during a global pandemic. We’ve been able to get all the bad feelings and emotions lived during 2020 and transform them into something good with positive attitude; no doubt this is the best bunch of songs that we’ve ever created, full of creativity and incredible sound and production, back to the roots. If you’re with us for a long time, we’re pretty sure you’re gonna enjoy this like the first time, and if you’re new in the office, this is the best card invitation for your first contact. It’s pure power and raw energy, the most aggressive, angry and violent songs together in one straight-to-your-face album. This is hostile music for hostile times. Watch out your neck and enjoy the double AA!”
In order to further support today’s street date, the band has released a new visualizer video for the track “We Stand Alone”, which can be seen here:
ANGELUS APATRIDA added the following comment about “We Stand Alone”: “The art of speed metal together with groove and strength! Catchy but ferocious, “We Stand Alone” sends a message of unity, of taking care of your close family and friends and stand for them. No doubt it’s gonna be a great anthem on tour singing out loud with one fist in the air and a cold beer (or soda) in the other hand! The video is a cool visualizer made by Josep Caballero from RCV Visual Studio using the piece of art that Gyula Havancsák created as the cover of the album. It’s been a pleasure working with these two great artists…hope you enjoy it!”
ANGELUS APATRIDA have previously released the following singles for their new album:
“Angelus Apatrida” (“/ˈan-je-lus – a-ˈpa-tri-da/”) was produced by the band, recorded with Juanan López in September/October at Baboon Records, in Albacete, Spain and then mixed and mastered by Zeuss (Rob Zombie, Overkill, Hatebreed, Municipal Waste, Shadows Fall) at Planet-Z in Wilbraham, MA, USA. The album features 10 songs, sounding more determined, versatile and ferocious than ever before, on the verge of the group’s 20th anniversary of existence.

THE PRETTY RECKLESS are happy to share the official video to “And So It Went” (feat. Tom Morello) with the world.
To celebrate singer Taylor Momsen has done a live Q&A on the bands’ YouTube channel. Join the Q&A and follow the premiere Of “And So It Went” here:
“The world has been in such a state of civil unrest,” singer Taylor Momsen previously shared about the track. “‘And So It Went’ basically comes from that vision. As a songwriter, I feel like I’m not here to preach. I use music to observe and communicate what I see around me. This song felt like the perfect storm for Tom Morello to join in and rip the sound waves apart with his guitar. It was more than a pleasure having him add his unique and defining sound to the song.”
About working with the band, Morello shares, “I got to perform with Taylor Momsen at the Chris Cornell memorial show. We rocked ‘Loud Love’ and she nailed it — no easy task. Thank goodness she and her band continue to fly the flag for rock ‘n’ roll in a mighty way.”
Check out Momsen’s recent “A Night In With” feature over at Nylon.

LAMB OF GOD have revealed plans to issue a live album with two bonus tracks along with a DVD performance of “Lamb Of God” on March 26th via Nuclear Blast.
Pre-orders for the set are available now, along with the bonus track ‘Ghost Shaped People.’ The live CD and DVD features the first of LAMB OF GOD‘s two ultra-successful live stream events from September 2020, in which the band performed their album “Lamb Of God” in full, plus an encore of four songs. The DVD includes a new director’s cut with bonus material.
In addition, the band has unveiled a visualizer for ‘Ghost Shaped People’ that you can watch here:
Originally, released June 19 of last year, LAMB OF GOD’s first new album in five years was met with universal acclaim – not only among major rock journalists, but with all strata of metal fans around the world.
But critics, media and the industry aside, perhaps the most telling statistic is the year-end US Metal Radio chart, where the new album dominated at #1 by a massive margin (over 2,000 more spins than the album at #2). “Lamb Of God” spent nine weeks in the #1 spot and never left the top 10 since debuting on the chart in February. Metal Radio is the lifeblood of the US metal world, largely staffed by college students and regional tastemakers, playing the music that they know their local metal fans want to hear.
LAMB OF GOD’s self- titled album reached the coveted #1 spot on Consequence of Sound’s Top 30 Metal + Hard Rock Albums of 2020, stating, “Along with bringing in the New Wave of American Heavy Metal, LAMB OF GOD have been one of music’s most important acts over the past 20 years. From their phenomenal instrumentation to the potency of their sociopolitical lyricism, LAMB OF GOD remain titans of the genre, continuing to craft remarkable works of thrilling and captivating adrenaline… also proves to be a profound work of heavy metal… perhaps the most important metal album of 2020. It’s not only the album of LAMB OF GOD’s career, but the heavy album of the year.”
At iTunes, LAMB OF GOD has landed at number one on the Overall, Rock and Metal iTunes album chart upon release.

ROCKSTAR FRAME are set to release their third studio album “Stand up…Jump ’n’ Fly” on February 12th, via Volcano Records.
ROCKSTAR FRAME (RSF) was born in 2012 by the will of drummer Max Klein and, after a few recording songs, immediately caught the attention of some sponsors, who finance the first productions. In 2014 they signed a record deal with Musicarchy Media from London, and in 2015 they released the debut album “Rock’n’Roll Mafia”, welcomed by great reviews all over the world, “Song of the Day” on REVOLVER Mag in the USA, as well as being celebrated on FIREWORKS (Uk), BLACK VELVET (Uk) and many others. Between the end of 2016 and the first months of 2017, RSF play in two international tours, Eastern Europe and Russia, where they are contacted by the management of the swedish Backyard Babies to open their Moscow live. At the end of Russian tour, the second album “Bulletproof” is released, but the band falls apart due to internal problems, after some irremediable conflicts. After a few appearances, the new line-up consolidates at the end of 2019, with the entrance of argentina singer Leo Guillan, the Brazilian bass player Ronam Destefani, and the guitarist Ian Darrell. RSF sign with Volcano Records in 2020 and meanwhile complete their third studio album: “Stand up … Jump ‘n’ Fly”, ready to be released on February 12th, 2021.
