Friday, 3rd April marked the official unveiling of Good God / Baad Man, the monumental new double album from American heavy metal icons CORROSION OF CONFORMITY!

“…it’s most definitely COC’s most ambitious album to date, both in length and material,” writes Decibel Magazine in their latest feature on the band. “It literally spans the entire breadth of what the band is capable of from furious punk (‘Gimme Some Moore’) to Southern stoner rock (‘You Or Me’) to melancholy acoustic Americana (‘Brickman’) and maybe even pushes into some new areas (the gospel-inflected doom of ‘Forever Amplified’). This is COC in 2026, led by two musicians separated geographically, but brought together by the shared love of the almighty riff, and keeping the legacy going…”

Rock Hard Germany concurs, “stylistically speaking, CORROSION OF CONFORMITY’s distinctive sonic blend has never been easy to pin down, as too many influences surface within the quartet’s material. From Southern rock and hardcore to sludge and doom – anything that was fun was fair game – and the double album Good God / Baad Man is, of course, no exception; rather, it pushes the quartet’s penchant for experimentation to the absolute limit… Good God / Baad Man is a ‘Gesamtkunstwerk’ – a total work of art – whose multifaceted nature defies easy categorization, yet draws the listener in with an intensity that is all the more profound.”

Blabbermouth gushes, “Best experienced in its languorous, lawless entirety, Good God / Baad Man is by far the most immersive and free-spirited album that CORROSION OF CONFORMITY have ever made. It is also wired to the tits on the same feral, moonshine spirit that has propelled this band through more than four decades of road-hogging commitment to the hard rock cause. Whether you discovered this band through their early days as hardcore firebrands, during their major label ’90s halcyon days, or at any other point along their unique story, this demands to be played as loud as possible and savored like a gift from the gods.”

Adds Metal Addicts, “Sonically, there’s a lot of ground covered. Heavy riffs, mid-tempo grooves, touches of grunge in the vein of Soundgarden, and little details that give it personality – samples, cowbell, and textures that keep things interesting without ever feeling overproduced… What’s most impressive is how natural it all feels. This isn’t a band chasing their past or trying to recreate a specific era. They’ve kept the core COC DNA intact, but they’ve expanded on it— refined the groove, tightened the low end, and let the songs breathe in a way that feels earned.”

More on CORROSION OF CONFORMITY:

Much has gone down in the CORROSION OF CONFORMITY universe since their last album smacked us upside the head. Back in 2018, when No Cross No Crown dropped like a rock ‘n’ roll atom bomb, the tried-and-true CORROSION OF CONFORMITY line-up of Pepper Keenan (vocals, guitar), Woody Weatherman (guitar), Reed Mullin (drums), and Mike Dean (bass) was still going strong. Four brothers united in a decades-long history kicked off by a roving pack of teenage punks in Raleigh, North Carolina circa 1982.

CORROSION OF CONFORMITY’s first four albums left a permanent mark on headbangers, longhairs, and street punks everywhere: Underground classics Eye For An Eye (1984) and Animosity (1985) followed by slightly more overground bangers Blind (1991) and Deliverance (1994). By the time CORROSION OF CONFORMITY carved off No Cross No Crown nearly a quarter century later, they were legends in their own time, revered by two generations of punk, metal, and rock fans.

Then tragedy struck: In January 2020, Reed Mullin left this earthly plane. It was a devastating blow, both personally and professionally. How do you replace a brother? You can’t. All you can do is soldier on in his memory. Which is what the rest of CORROSION OF CONFORMITY did – until COVID-19 shut down the globe. Then Mike Dean decided to go his own way. It was an amicable split, but it left Pepper and Woody to contemplate their next move. They hunkered down at Keenan’s place in Mississippi, listening to all the music they love. Discharge. ZZ Top. Motörhead. Neil Young. Black Sabbath.

They started writing. They didn’t stop; not for a long time. In fact, they composed a massive double album. “As we went on, we had such a crazy plethora of songs, it was almost like two different directions,” Pepper says. “We knew we had to split it into two different albums. Then we came up with this concept.”

The concept happens to be the title of the record. It’s called Good God / Baad Man. “Our producer, Warren Riker, kept calling it Dark Side Of The Doom,” recalls Pepper.“In my head, it’s a weird love letter to all things rock ‘n’ roll. We used that for the freedom to go in different directions. Each album is its own tiny universe and has its own identity. Good God leans toward the heavier/pissed end of the spectrum. Baad Man is more on the throwdown rock scope. As we went along, it became clear which songs went on which album.”

They brought in drummer Stanton Moore, who played on CORROSION OF CONFORMITY’s 2005 album, In The Arms Of God. They brought in bassist Bobby “Rock” Landgraf, who did time with Pepper in New Orleans heavyweights Down when he wasn’t terrorizing the locals in his own band, Honky. “With a lot of these songs, we’re trying to make Reed Mullin proud,” Pepper says. “He was a badass, and a one-of-a-kind drummer. And the stakes were high.”

With their 15th studio album ONE arriving May 1, GRAMMY® Award–nominated metal icons SEVENDUST return with a powerful new single, “Threshold.”

Comprised of Lajon Witherspoon (vocals), Clint Lowery (guitar), John Connolly (guitar), Vince Hornsby (bass), and Morgan Rose (drums), the band once again deliver a driving, emotionally charged track primed to become a centerpiece of their live set. “Threshold” highlights SEVENDUST’s signature blend of heavy grooves and melodic intensity, paired with motivational lyricism. Witherspoon channels raw emotion as he addresses those who push others to their breaking point: “You want another piece of me, don’t ya? To break apart so you get what you wanted?”

Poised to stand among the standout moments of the band’s three-decade career, “Threshold” is available now on all digital streaming platforms.

The accompanying music video marks the return of animator Ollie Jones and continues the storyline introduced in the band’s video for “Fence.” In the new chapter, a greedy music agent pressures a management team to exhume the decayed members of SEVENDUST and send them back on tour. Reanimated using the same mysterious substance that first brought them back, the band embarks on a run designed to line the agent’s pockets. The video ends with the band under his full control and what happens next is anyone’s guess.

Building on their unmistakable sound while continuing to evolve, ONE proves why SEVENDUST remain a vital force nearly three decades into their career. From the driving opening riff of the title track “One” to the dreamy, atmospheric vocal outro of “Misdirection,” the album takes listeners on an emotional journey that only SEVENDUST can deliver. Tracks such as “One” and “We Won” stand confidently alongside the band’s most iconic material, reinforcing their legacy while pushing their sound forward.

The album’s first single, “Is This The Real You,” was released in January to both fan and critical acclaim. The video—directed by Paul Ribera—has amassed over 1.3 million views in less than six weeks, signaling strong anticipation for the band’s next chapter.

Since forming in 1994, SEVENDUST have become a cornerstone of modern metal, known for their explosive live performances, chart-topping releases, and unwavering commitment to authenticity. With ONE, the band continues to honor their roots while embracing growth—proving that their creative fire is as fierce and focused as ever.

ONE arrives May 1st via Napalm Records and the album is available for pre-order in multiple configurations including digital downloads now.

About SEVENDUST:
For over three decades, SEVENDUST have made countless fans feel a part of something special. The group’s community isn’t passive. Members of the “7D Army” make a very active commitment to being part of this family—as evinced by sold-out shows worldwide and innumerable tattoos of the band’s logo and lyrics. Since 1994, the iconic Atlanta quintet have quietly built a legacy without parallel, encompassing sales of nearly eight million albums, a GRAMMY® Award nomination for “Best Metal Performance,” three Top 15 entries on the Billboard 200, hundreds of millions of streams, and the fierce loyalty of millions of listeners in every corner of the globe. Along the way, they’ve shined as an outlier equally comfortable on tracks with either members of Deftones, Creed, and Periphery or Xzibit and Daughtry. V13 spotlighted it with a cover story, Consequence hailed the music as “hard-hitting,” and Guitar World marveled at how, “more than 25 years after releasing their gold-selling self-titled debut, SEVENDUST’s music still has plenty of bite.” Speaking to their longevity, they notably notched their biggest radio success to date with “Everything” in 2024, netting a career-high entry on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. However, the guys really delivered for their diehard base with 2026’s ONE (Napalm Records). SEVENDUST’s 15th full-length LP forges ten simultaneously lean and gut-punching tracks out of gargantuan riffs, seismic grooves, and signature soul-stirring hooks. Rallying together around a common goal as bandmates and brothers, Lajon Witherspoon (vocals), Clint Lowery (lead guitar, backing vocals), John Connolly (rhythm guitar, backing vocals), Vince Hornsby (bass), and Morgan Rose (drums) have crafted a body of work that both day-one devotees and new fans alike can hold onto forever.

Metal heroines NERVOSA unleash the opening track to their upcoming album, Slave Machine, as a third single. “Impending Doom” builds up menacingly, using thunderous riffs and speedy drums to share sinister social observations and establish the women’s dominance in the scene. Produced by Martin Furia of German thrash legends DESTRUCTION, “Impending Doom” blends old-school power with a modern twist, showcasing NERVOSA’s view into the future. The accompanying album Slave Machine will be out this Friday, April 3, 2026 via Napalm Records!

NERVOSA about “Impending Doom”:
“Dark vibes with epic sensation, a very powerful song to introduce our new album, which marks a big step in our career.”

NERVOSA unleashes another round of fury on their new album, Slave Machine, out April 3, 2026 via Napalm Records. Their sixth album shows the Brazilian modern thrash metal band releasing their inner beasts at staggering speed and with formidable emphasis. Having performed at the biggest metal festivals worldwide, from Wacken to Hellfest, and making a lasting impression on fans and critics alike, NERVOSA aims to consolidate their standing as genre frontrunners. With founding guitarist Prika Amaral established as their new singer with their previous record, Jailbreak (2023), they tear through the scene with the force of a sledgehammer.

NERVOSA about Slave Machine:
“Slave Machine is the most brutal and melodic album of NERVOSA, and we are proud to take this step further, keeping our roots.”

Twelve new songs show the five-piece exploring their crushing style in an enhanced way. Opening “Impending Doom” builds up menacingly, using thunderous riffs and jagged drums to establish the women’s dominance in the scene. The title track, “Slave Machine”, instantly turns up the speed and adds a surprising alternative bridge to the already catchy chorus, showing a slightly different side of the metal powerhouses. The following “Ghost Notes” unleashes a storm of heavy, yet easily recognizable riffs, driven by impelling drums and the ever-so-furious vocals of Prika Amaral, crowned by an astounding guitar solo. Through “Beast Of Burden”, NERVOSA shows their harshest side, while “You Are Not A Hero” offers a grand chorus, gifting Slave Machine a true anthem. “Hate” unfolds with raw brutality, and “The New Empire” looks for destruction with melodic precision. “30 Seconds” rises up to new heights, while “Crawl For Your Pride” combines NERVOSA’s trademark social criticism with gut-punching songwriting. Throughout “Learn Or Repeat” and “The Call”, the band once again sprinkles in some pieces of modern groove with old-school vibes before Slave Machine rears up one final time on the threateningly sinister “Speak In Fire”.

Finnish hard rock band ØUTLINE has released their first EP, “Flee n’ Forget,” featuring five tracks. Reflecting the restless state of mind of young men, the album boldly breaks genre boundaries and gets even the stiffest heads nodding to the rhythm.

ØUTLINE has been building anticipation for the release over the winter with three singles: “Bite the Bullet,” “925,” and “Moonlight,” which have already attracted a solid 6,000 listeners. The raw rock sound, featuring heavy riffs and melodic solos, is definitely not dead. This has been evident at the band’s live shows in Finland, where the reception has been electric.

Listen to the EP on music services (Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Tidal, Qobuz etc.): https://push.fm/fl/outline-fleenforget

– Our songs resonate with people who love the electric atmosphere created by live shows and the sense of connection it brings. We feel it’s important to preserve this feeling at a time when music has become a commercial product, the band commented collectively.

Behind the songs are five guys in their twenties: Aaron Hietaniemi (vocals, acoustic guitar), Mikko Häkkinen (guitar), Iiro Palaste (guitar), Eetu Pynnönen (bass), and Oiva Salonen (drums). All tracks were mixed by Sami Niittykoski and mastered by Miro Kiiski. The release was handled by Inverse Records.

– We recommend listening to the EP songs in order. If it evokes positive feelings, share it with your friends too! You can never have too much rock in your life.

Tracklist / ISRC-codes:

  1. Flee ‘n Forget – FI3FC2597701
  2. Bite the Bullet – QT6EB2588451
  3. Winds thrive high – FI3FC2597702
  4. 925 – FI3FC2597704
  5. Moonlight – FI3FC2597703

Øutline has performed in its current lineup since 2022. The band has been performing actively across Finland and has released seven singles that have gained traction on Spotify’s rock playlists and local radio stations. After a short break, it’s time once again to release new music and hit the road.

SAASTA Release Final Single + Video ‘The Coffin’ from Upcoming Album

Finnish extreme metal band Saasta has released the final single from their upcoming album “Cesspool” to be released on May 8th. “The Coffin” dives into the rotten core of burning out: self-loathing, feelings of inadequacy, and those deep, unspoken roots that force us to sacrifice everything to achieve nothing. This is not just a song but self-destruction on the altar of ambition.

“We build inhuman altars for ourselves, goals that tear us away from our own flesh and minds. We force ourselves into a mold we cannot fit into. We feed every drop of blood to an illusion we call ambition. When the body breaks down and the mind screams for mercy, we still do not relent. We cling tooth and nail to the lie we have woven ourselves, until it crushes us and sucks the marrow from our bones.”

Listen to the single on music services (Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Tidal, YouTube Music etc.): https://push.fm/fl/saasta-coffin – Composition & Lyrics by Janne Hietanen

Musically, “The Coffin” is an atypical track for Saasta thanks to its almost melodic chorus, but the verses and bridge are crafted in the familiar black and death metal aesthetic. The combination of these elements has added a raw, fresh, and addictive track to Saasta’s song arsenal.

The single’s cover art and music video were created in a brutal DIY spirit entirely by Saasta themselves. This marks the band’s seventh music video and continues a series in which Saasta has purposefully built a distinctive, raw, and recognizable visual identity from one opus to the following one. For the band, the visual dimension is not a side note, but a central part of the whole. It is a way to deepen the world created by Saasta and to drive the themes of the songs concretely under the viewer’s skin.

Saasta is an extreme metal band from Kotka, Finland. Formed in 2020 the band combines the mercilessness of black and death metal, with the more subtle nuances of doom. The combination is dark and groovy metal with its own distinctive sound, where strong lyrical expression meets raw energy. Saasta is known for their intense stage presence and uncompromising effort.

“Watch You Fold” is the latest single from UK technical death metal practitioners INGESTED. The track features guest vocals from John Gallagher of Dying Fetus and comes by way of the band’s Denigration full-length, set for release on May 8th via Metal Blade Records.

For nearly two decades, Manchester’s INGESTED has stood as one of the UK’s most uncompromising forces in extreme metal. Champions of a sound that fuses precision brutality with increasingly dynamic songwriting, they’ve evolved from underground slam pioneers into a globally recognized, forward-driving powerhouse. With Denigration, the band begins a bold new chapter, one defined by reinvention, sharpened purpose and the arrival of a new voice at the helm.

At the core of this evolution remain founding members Sean Hynes (guitars, co-vocals) and Lyn Jeffs (drums), the creative backbone whose vision, chemistry, and relentless drive have powered INGESTED since day one. They are joined by guitarist Andrew Virrueta, who also contributes vocals to the album and bassist Thomas O’Malley completing a lineup that delivers the band’s most dynamic and commanding work to date.

In addition to John Gallagher of Dying Fetus, Denigration includes guest appearances by Damonteal Harris of PeelingFlesh on “Merciless Reflection,” Skyler Conder of Cell on “Dragged Apart,” and Kyle Medina of Bodysnatcher on “Dredge The Dark,” further amplifying the record’s scope and intensity.

Comments the band on today’s single, “‘Watch You Fold’ is a character assassination in slow motion. Lyrically, it’s aimed at the kind of smug, greedy parasite who hides behind legacy and respectability while everyone around them suffocates. It’s about institutions and individuals who turned a once-respected space into a ‘fifty-year mockery,’ treating people like expendable fuel while they count the cash. The song is us standing in that claustrophobic room, calling out the lies, and promising that if you come for five of us, you’re actually coming for every single person we stand with.

“The music is a deliberate nod to that mid-2000s Unique Leader school of blasting brutal death metal, fused with Sean’s melodic, brooding sense of atmosphere. It’s technical without showboating, relentless without losing groove, and built around riffs that feel like concrete. Having John Gallagher from Dying Fetus on the track was about closing a circle, his gutturals are instantly recognizable and tie the whole thing back to the era that shaped our sense of heaviness. This is the sound of a once-revered statue being dragged off its plinth and smashed to dust.”

Produced by Nico Beninato at The Arch Studios in Southport, UK, Denigration captures INGESTED at their sharpest and most forward-thinking. The album’s visual identity is equally striking, featuring artwork by Giannis Nakos of Remedy Art Design, whose detailed, eerie imagery reflects the record’s thematic depth and ferocious tone.
